My February vacation by #Agent2

February vacation is my favorite vacation of the year because my family and I go to New Hampshire, and I love playing games and going out in the snow. On the first day there wasn't much going on, just me in my house not knowing what to do.  Since this was the first day, it is usually the day where everyone is packing for the trip, and everyone is getting in each other's way.  The way I think of it is I go into the basement and think of a movie to watch while driving there. On day two I felt like something was off and I was missing something, but I just shrugged it off. I went downstairs and started playing a video game when I realized I hadn't packed anything for the trip or even a bag to hold it all in. By that time we were already getting ready to pack up the car and leave so I speedran, packing all I had, which was some fidgets, a ball with a smiley face on it named Mr. Sunshine happy face, two action figures, and my Nintendo Switch 2. As my family and I got in the car I pulled out my Nintendo Switch 2 just to realize I was in my mom´s car, and my mom´s car doesn’t have wifi only my dad´s car does. We stopped going in separate cars because my two older sisters either drive up in their cars or don't even go because of work! It was a long drive but as soon as we got there I went to the room I usually pick and unloaded all my stuff. Finally thinking I could chill my mom says we have to get food at the grocery store. The only thing that made me happy there was definitely getting the best ice cream/popsicle a Creamsicle. For the first two days it was kind of rough, but the future days are better than ever! When I went to Vermont! by #Agent18

During this February break I went to Vermont! I went Thursday through Sunday, and we drove there. It was a four hour drive. We stayed in my uncle’s house! He lives about 5 minutes away from Sugarbush, which is the ski place we went to. He loves skiing, and he is very very good at it. Sadly in December he broke his leg skiing. He had to get eleven pins in his leg, so he couldn’t go skiing with us. He still hung out with us at the lodge and at the house. We met his friend and their family. His friend is the one who drove him to Vermont from my uncle’s house in Mass. We went skiing Friday and Saturday. I was with my dad and my brother on the green mountains. They are like blue level mountains here where I go skiing, and I can only go on blues. My favorite trail was Graduation. In Graduation there was a cut through two other trails to get to a different trail. The biggest trail I went on was North Star. It was really fun! My other brother has special needs, so he was in the adaptive program. This helped him learn how to ski again because he only skied once a few years ago. My mom stayed on the bunny hill with my brother because when she tried a green it was a bit hard. She hasn’t skied in a while either. On the second day my brother went with my uncle’s friend because he wanted to go on something his level, something harder. I am not at his level. So my dad and I just went on greens together. My dad is at a way higher level than me, but he still stuck with me. At my uncle's house one night we had a family game night with him. Another night we had a movie night, and we watched Happy Gilmore 2. Then we watched Independence Day. I really liked that movie! I had the best time in Vermont! My skiing trip by #Agent20

Every year my family goes skiing on February vacation. We ski at Ragged Mountain in Danbury, New Hampshire because my grandparents own a cabin that is about 15 minutes down the road from there. When we first got there it took about 45 minutes to get ski rentals and boots; then put all of our gear on. I had not been skiing in a year, so I started off on the bunny hills and smaller trails. Once I got used to it a little more I went on some of the smaller green trails. On my third time getting off the chairlift my brother accidentally tripped me, and I fell hard on the ice. Luckily I was ok, but it definitely hurt. I went down the mountain a few more times and then took a break. I spotted a waffle cabin so my brother and I decided to get some. It was the most delicious chocolate covered waffle I had ever had! It felt like it was exploding in my mouth every time I took a bite. After that we went on a green trail that started at the top of the mountain. It ended up being pretty steep and fast. There was one turn that was so sharp that I ended up falling. I decided to go on a few more greens and then ended my day by going out for dinner with my grandparents. I hope my next trip skiing will be as good as my recent one.

Working With My Dad by #Agent4

 

One day I got to go to work with my dad. Sadly my brother did too. We had to all wake up at 6:00am because my dad has to leave to get to work every day at 7:30am. Once we got to his work, which is an animal hospital, we were very tired! My dad is the owner and also the only vet that works there. All the people that work with my dad are very nice. They know my brother and I very well. First, my brother and I did coding because my brother made a website that lets you scan things and put them on a list with other items. My job was to scan the items. My brother's job was to put the names of the items in the list with the other ones. Next, I helped my dad with his checkups with the animals. I thought that being a vet was really fun because you get to just hang out with animals all day. After that, I was hanging out with my brother because our mom was coming soon to pick us up. Once my mom came to pick us up we said bye to my dad. We all agreed to have lunch at our house, so we went home. That is how I spent the day working with my dad.       

My Trip To Turks and Caicos! Part 1 by #Agent5

On my school break this year, I went to Turks and Caicos! This has always been my dream vacation! We had to go with my sister's friends. But I think it was all worth it. Many people are always shocked when I say this, but I have never been on a plane before, so this was my first time. I had to wake up at two in the morning for a six a.m. flight. We got through security really fast. It was about a 4 hour plane ride. We got on the plane, and the first hour went by really fast. But the next hours went by so slowly! I tried to sleep, but it did not work. We finally got there and got out of security really fast! We walked to our hotel, but my family could not check in until three o'clock. The hotel that we went to was called Beaches. They have 4 villages: The Caribbean Village, the Italian Village, the Key West Village, and the French Village. They are making a new one called Treasure Island. It will be ready on March first. We stayed in the Caribbean Village. We went to Grace Bay Beach first! It was the clearest water I have ever seen. The sand was so soft and white; it didn't feel real! It was one hundred times better and warmer than I expected. On the first day, we just really explored the beautiful islands. There are three main islands of Turks and Caicos: North Caicos, Middle Caicos, and Providenciales. I stayed at Providenciales. We waited for my sister's friends to arrive, and then we went on a sunset swim. It was day two already! My mom and I got up early so we could go on a walk. We decided that we were going to go on an hour-long walk to Leenwards Beach and find lots of shells. We got there and sadly, there were barely any shells, or sea glass. We walked all the way back, and I went in the pool. One of my favorite things was that in every pool they had there there were kids bars! You could just swim up and grab amazing drinks. My favorite was the strawberry daiquiri. I got it a lot! It felt like a dream come true!

How I found out I had dyslexia by #Agent3

One day when it was winter break, my mom and dad told me I had dyslexia. A few months ago I had a test taken for my learning. I was so scared because I thought I would not be myself. Then they told me that there are tools I´m going to get in school. Also, my mom and dad found some books that will help me. I felt so dumb  in school, but then I noticed that I'm really good at school.  Also my teacher gave me some tools that might help me, and I go to a teacher that works with kids with dyslexia every morning so that helps me too. I've been practicing since I knew I had it also to help me learn how to do math better and reading better. I'm also in a reading group. Then I started telling some friends because I wanted them to know that sometimes it might take me longer than them to do some work. Now all my friends know that they might need to help me when they know or see that I'm stuck, and they know that I also might ask for help.  My teacher has given me really good tools that will help me in school. One of the tools that she gave me is called Google Read and Write.  When I do a reading test she gives me some tools that will read the story for me. For math test she has a green notebook for me with a 25 * 25 multiplication chart, and that helps me a lot too. Sometimes she gives me partners that will help me, or she sometimes just gives random partners when she knows I can do it. I  love everyone that is helping me because they help me a lot. The two I have is an Orton Gillingham book that teaches me phonics, writing, and reading.  I noticed with my dyslexia I am very creative and imaginative, and I love to do certain stuff. I do gymnastics as a sport, and my mom told me that gymnastics is a great sport to be  imaginative because we get to make up our own routines.

Have you ever wondered what the Olympics are? The Olympics are when countries battle in athletic competitions like gymnastics, basketball, and swimming. Countries play in the Olympics according to Google Gemini because “to contribute to building a peaceful and better world.” The person who made the Olympics is Pierre de Coubertin. He made the Olympics because he thought that it developed mental energy. Also the team who won the most gold medals is the USA with 2765 gold medals! Another fact about the Olympics are the records like the person with the fastest 100 meter race was Usain Bolt with one of the most crazy 100 meter runs ever! The person with the longest long jump is Bob Beamon. Another thing is the superstars in the Olympics like Simone Biles, Usain Bolt, Pele, and Micheal Jordan. Some people wonder why there are 5 rings in the logo. Well according to Google Gemini, “It represents the five parts of the world that now won over because of Olympism. I think the Olympics is a very good way to show off your country's stars to the whole world like Simone Biles or even Micheal Jordan and a good way to show a person’s talent. That is the modern Olympics.              

How to Draw a Taco Jellycat by #Agent1

 Jellycats are amazing and are loved all over the world. In case you do not know what Jellycats are, they are adorable plushies made with luxury soft fabric, often called the softest cuddly companions. Jellycats come in all shapes and sizes such as coffee, rain drops, rainbows, bunnies, hamsters, peanuts, the sun, and potatoes to name a few. There are so many of these cuddly friends. Which one is your favorite? Today I am going to teach you how to draw the adorable taco Jellycat.

Step 1: Draw a curved line as if you were drawing the top of a rainbow.

Step 2: Draw a straight line under it to create a semi circle. This is the shell of your taco.

Step 3: Draw 2 ovals on the bottom of your semi circle. These are the feet.

Step 4: Erase the line that goes through the middle of your ovals.

Step 5: Draw two black dots above the ovals. These are the eyes.

Step 6: Draw a cute smiley mouth under the eyes.

Step 7: Draw circles and rigid lines on the top of the curved rainbow line. These are the lettuce pieces and tomatoes.

All about sports car brands! by #Agent16

Hi friends! That’s right, it’s me, the one, the only, Agent 16! (hold for applause)

I’m back with my biweekly blog post. Today, we will talk about sports car brands. Here are my top three favorite sports car brands and why:

Coming in at #1, Ferrari! I specifically like the Ferrari F40. I actually own one of these cars. P.S. It’s a Lego version. I like Ferrari F40s because they look cool and are a definite classic. I like the brand because the cars look awesome, and they are very well made. They are extremely high quality.

Coming in at #2, Chevrolet! I specifically like the 1969 Corvette Stingray. It also happens to be my mom’s favorite car. But this is only if it has a 427 under the hood. I like this car specifically because I think that it looks really nice, and it is a guaranteed classic. The brand is also high quality, and my family also likes it a lot.

Coming in at #3, Dodge! I specifically like the 1969 Dodge Charger. I like it styled like the one from “The Fast And The Furious.” It is another classic, and I think it looks super lit. I especially like the massive super-charger blower on the hood. I like the brand because they make other fire cars like the SRT Hellcat and the SRT Demon. They are pretty high quality, and they are awesome cars.

Minecraft by #Agent12

Minecraft is the ultimate sandbox game. I have over 7 years of playing experience. And I’ve seen many things. Minecraft was always fun. The best update was caves and cliffs, until they added mounts it ruined the game. Creative is perfect for ideas that you want to become reality. Survival is when you're bored of creative. Hardcore trains you to survive. In hardcore if you die you don’t respawn. It’s hard for me to imagine what original Minecraft would look like. I started at the Aquatic update. Some tips when staring. Number one DON’T DIG STRAIGHT DOWN. Number two bring cobblestone to the nether, ghasts can’t break it. You can be like 10 things in Minecraft. One the builder. Two the speedrunner. Three the strip miner. Four the survivalists. Five the redstone engineer. My biggest build was maybe the castle I made or the mountain base. Being on an online server is fun. I recommend playing with friends on a realm. What’s better: Bedrock or Java. Bedrock is perfect for survival. Java has mods for free. And you can play with friends better. I think dogs are better than cats. Cats don’t even do anything but follow you. Dogs hunt and will attack anyone you punch. Will Minecraft get a second game or what?

My Igloo castle by #agent6

Next to the mail box and close to the street a certain someone was kicking their feet. Agent 6 and her dad waited outside for the bus. On the other side of the mailbox there was a pile of snow. It was the same height of agent 6 from her head to her toes. Her dad said when he was a kid, he and his siblings would make tunnels in them. In that second, agent six had a light bulb over her head. She thought i’m going to make a castle. Over the days she had no time. But Tuesday her Bumpa was picking her up, and she was going to make that castle. Once she stepped off that bus she said, “Bumpa can I make an igloo at your house?” He replied ok, and Agent 6s light bulb had a smile. Her plan was simple: make a big pile and carve the insides.  Easy she thought like a jack-o-lantern. She got to the house. She went inside and said a quick hi, got her snow stuff and got right to work. She was starting that castle. Though her plan was simple she grabbed a bad shovel. It never worked; it was too hard. But, she didn't stop, she used her hands. A longer process but it turned out good. When her hands were frozen, at just the right time her Bumpa came with the best surprise. He brought a snow blower! He cleared out a circle and made the pile taller. Her light bulb had so much excitement! When it was time, her Bumpa carved the entrance. He made the height perfect, and it was very deep and wide. She could lay down and fit on both sides. Every time she went to her Nana and Bumpas she added more to the igloo. One day she had dinner there, but she took a risk and climbed on top of the igloo. Did she sink?... No she did not. Agent 6 climbed on top and slid down. She made stairs so she could go up and sled. Her Bumpa made paths for her to go in when she sled down. She had so much fun. But now it's time, to be continued.

Pokemon by #Agent13

Pokemon is a big franchise made by Nintendo. It is a game where you catch Pokemon, fill out your Pokedex, and battle other trainers. At the start of the game you meet the professor. It is different in each Pokemon game such as Pokemon lets Go Eevee has Professor Oak. He gives you three choices for starters. It is also different in each game. Personally I think you should pick the Water-type Pokemon or the Fire-type. Then after that you go into the wild to catch Pokemon and battle trainers. By this time your Pokemon's level should be around 5-12. Then there is the first gym (different in each game). The first gym should have two Pokemon that will be pretty easy. After that you will find some new Pokemon, battle more trainers, and fill out more of your Pokedex. Now you will start to progress more in the game. Once you have beaten all the gym you will go to the Elite Four.  They are different in each game. These are four pretty hard trainers. After you beat them there are some other things you can do such as mega evolve your Pokemon, get really rare Pokemon such as Mew, and customize your avatar. My brother's birthday by #Agent11

This blog will be about my brother's birthday. So we started the day with going to school like usual. Then when we got home my brother immediately showed me what he got from school. This consisted of colorings, a little drawing that his friends made him, and a cut out crown (which had been scribbled on with dark blue everywhere). My dad then asked him what he wanted for dinner, and he responded with pizza. After the disaster of figuring out which pizza was to my brother's liking we waited approximately 30 minutes for the pizza. When it got here my brother kept on repeating Pizza! Pizza! Pizza! We then each got a slice and sat at the dining table. My brother talked about how excited he was for his presents.

Once we were done with dinner we all cleaned up before having some cake. But my brother kept complaining about how it was his birthday and that he shouldn't have to clean up today. When he opened up the box he saw a cake that had every detail he described from whipped cream to a sprinkle surprise in the middle of his cake. The cake also had blue drizzle on it, and like any 6 year old he decided it would be his life mission to lick all of the blue frosting off. When we were done eating my brother opened his presents and then tried to take all of his balloons upstairs.(Lets just say that that did not end well). That is the end of my blog.

How to get a great night's sleep by #Agent19

There are a good amount of ways to get a good night's rest. One of them is the 3,2,1 method. This method is no eating food 3 hours before you go to bed or drinking alcohol, no work or mentally stimulating 2 hours before going to bed, and no technology an hour before you go to bed. This does not work for everyone. However some people found that if they drink 2 glasses of water before they go to bed, they end up falling asleep faster. It forces them to get up and out of bed in the morning to pee. There is also the Military method. This method is relaxing all the muscles in your body, including the jaw, then you need to relax your brain. You can relax your brain by not moving your pupils. This works because for the brain to go on and on there needs to be movement in the eye. Then after that you need to breathe in a steady pattern of slow deep breaths. This technique was used by people who fought in wars. This technique slows down the brain making it possible for humans to fall asleep in 2 minutes or less. The three two one method I learned from Wikipedia-sleep, the one with the two glasses I learned from a reliable source on youtube [law by Mike] I also fact checked it on google and Wikipedia, and the last one I learned from a veteran.

My favorite place to visit is my house by #Agent22

 

My house is where I live, eat popsicles, have my friends over, and sleep. I have lived in this house for seven or eight years. I used to live in a smaller house ,but we moved and this house is so much better. Now I have a good hill on the side of my house, so when it snows I can sled down it. I would rather be at my house than go somewhere because I am more familiar with my surroundings and all my stuff is here like my bed. I have a mini hoop on my snack closet door. When I am at my house I can dunk on my hoop whenever I want to. My cats are also here, and they can’t leave my house so I like to stay with them. If I want to talk to someone I can talk to my mom, dad, or brother. My friends' houses don’t have cool toys to play with; they have dogs and their yards aren’t as big as my house. I would rather be at my house where we play soccer outside, videogames in my room, and of course my mini hoop. I really love being home because I know what to do here and what is fun.

The snow storm by #Agent2

A couple weeks ago where I live we got a big snow storm especially on Sunday. There was so much snow it was crazy. On Saturday there wasn't really any snow, just a little bit. I just played video games all day, and I just beat one of them. It was an older game that I really like called Luigi's Mansion, and I like it because the other two have so much new stuff. I like how it's just a simple game that doesn't add something new. You have to learn in the middle of the game when you're already settled. Sunday was way different. When I woke up it was already snowing and already really falling. After a while nothing happened, so I watched the football game. It was pretty good, but even better when I got in this super comfy bean bag chair. Then to get some money to buy a game I shoveled my backdeck, and to soften it up tomorrow my dad and I shoveled the driveway and my neighbors because she can't do it herself. Then nothing really happened. On Monday I got a day off of school and didn't do anything but shovel. I got a lot of money though, so I bought a game for my mom and I to play.  It's the third game in the Luigi's Mansion game with new cool ghosts in the mansion from different years in history, but it adds so much. After playing the original game of Luigi's Mansion it was a little hard to adapt to the new game, and with some extra money I bought a new controller. The storm was kind of boring but getting a lot of stuff to play games with and games is really fun to do.

My Lacrosse tournament by #Agent14

This is all about my lacrosse tournament. The first thing we did was drive two hours to Connecticut. When we arrived in Connecticut we went to dinner at Longhorn. I got a burger with fries and it was really good. After dinner we drove to our hotel, and then we went to bed. Then we woke up at 7:00 o'clock to eat breakfast. I ate breakfast with a lot of my friends on my lacrosse team. After breakfast we left to go to my lacrosse games. We arrived right before it started, so I had to rush to get my lacrosse pads on. When the game started we scored really quick. Then they responded with a goal. After they scored, we scored three goals in a row. Then they scored. Now it’s half time. Our coach talks about our plays. Now it’s the second half. They scored, so now it is a tied game. We scored, so now there is 1 minute left. We are winning by one goal. Then we score again, and we win. Then in our second game we are down by four when there are three minutes left. Then they scored twice, so they were up by six goals. we sadly lost. After our second game we started to warm up for our next game. When the game starts we score three goals instantly. After we score they respond with a goal, but then it’s half time. I start the second half out on the field. They score; then we score four goals and win. We won two games, so that means we play in a championship game. One minute after the game starts they score two goals, but then we respond by scoring a goal. Then they scored two more goals, so that means that they are winning by two goals. Now it’s half time. We score two goals; then they score one goal. The score is 3 to 5. The other team is winning. When there is only one minute left we score, but sadly they score and the time runs out so we lose. That is all about my lacrosse tournament.

Blogging by #Agent18

This blog is about blogging! I decided to do this because blogging is really fun, and I think people should know more about it. When you blog you can blog about something you did, something you're going to do, something you hope will happen, or you can do it to inform people about something or someone. When you blog you can learn new stuff too. Like if you're doing a blog on Zendaya, you yourself could learn something new about her. Also blogging doesn't take that much time. For example, I usually do it in about 15 minutes. So if you have a time limit you can probably do it in that time! Blogging can become a career in the future. So if you're doing it just for fun now, it can become something you get paid for in the future. Blogging can also help you reset. T reminds me of  how journaling can help, this can too. Also when you blog you don’t have to post it out to the world, you can just keep to yourself too. Blogging can also fill some time gaps. Like if you have a lot of free time on your hands this is something you can do to fill some of that time. That is my blog about blogging! I hope this helps you find a new hobby!

The SuperBowl by #Agent17

I am super excited about the SuperBowl. I have been waiting sooo long to watch the Pats be in the SuperBowl. Now I know how other fans feel, having to wait for a long time to see your team in the big game. When I was very young, I used to think the Patriots always played in the SuperBowl because they were in it so much. My family and I are doing a lot of fun stuff this year for the SuperBowl. Normally we do amazing activities, but it is different because the Pats are in the SuperBowl. Some stuff we do is make nachos and chocolate chip cookies, watch the game, and eat nachos while we watch the game. Then it’s halftime, so we eat chili and dip the nachos in the chili. Then we watch the rest of the football game. There is more we do like watch the halftime show. Last year it was Kendrick Lamar. He was one of my favorites. This year it will be Bad Bunny. I know some of his songs but not a lot. Most of his songs are Spanish. Luckily, I have been doing my Duolingo, so I should be able to translate. Hopefully the Patriots will win, so we can have a Superbowl parade! Too bad we don’t have Butler to make a goal line interception this year.  I predict the final score to be Patriots 56, Seahawks 35 - Pats Win!

My snow day by #Agent15

In January it snowed so much that school even got canceled. Today I am going to talk about what I do on snow days and who I hang out with. Our snow day was on a Monday, and the Monday before that Monday was Martin Luther King Day. He was a black person who stood up to slavery. So because of the holiday we had a day off. On my snow day I woke up around 8:00, so I could go in the snow early. There was around a foot of snow, so the snow plowers had to come to plow the snow. My family lives in a cul-de-sac, so all the snow got plowed to one end. In the end the snow made a hill, and it was really close to where my house is. My brother and I tried to make them safe to sled down, but we made them with bumps. Also my brother and I like to stand on the sled and go down the hill, which is really fun. However, I do not recommend it. After lunch my brother took a break while I went to my neighbors house to ask if she wanted to play. She said yes. We were a little cold, but we powered through it. We went sledding, we made snow angels, and we started racing in the snow. After we did that and it got cold, my friend and I made a hot chocolate mocha. Basically my mom gets hot chocolate mixes, so my friend and I made them together. Once we made and finished our hot chocolate, we went to the basement and we watched youtube. After an hour she had to go home. Then my parents told me that my puppy's paws were freezing, so my brother and I  got to work on a maze for my dog. To this day we are still expanding the maze. I really hope I get to have another snow day.

A Fun Day At Camila’s House by #Agent4

I went to Camila’s house on Wednesday, and I had a lot of fun. First we were walkers that day, and her mom was going to pick us up. Then once we got to her house we made up a game called College. In that game we pretended that we were in college. We used Camila’s parents room for our dorm. Then Camila let me use some notebooks, books, Touchland hand sanitizer, and Sol de Janeiro perfume. Camila also let me borrow some of her clothes. We basically just acted like we were college students. After we were getting bored, we went downstairs and got a snack. I had a protein bar; it was very good. We went back upstairs, and we played some more. We heard Camila’s mom say that there was 5 more minutes until I had to leave. We rushed so I could  get ready to leave because we had to put everything back, and we took a lot of stuff out of her room. We also had to make sure that her parent’s room was all cleaned up.  Then my mom came, so I had to say goodbye. It was a great day, and I can’t wait to hang out with her again soon.     

Wendy’s run by #Agent7

After lacrosse is over I either go to Mcdonalds or Wendy's, and today I went to Wendy’s. The days that I get Wendy's are Thursday or Monday. I get really excited to get Wendy's because I love to get a sugar rush with my large soda or sometimes a frosty. After lacrosse practice the parent that are carpooling that night can decide if we get Wendy’s or something on the way, but in my opinion we should always get Wendy's. When we go I usually see some of the girls from lacrosse, and my friends and I go over and say hi. Today when we went to Wendy's we rushed to the bathroom to try to see who could have their hands first washed first. I got second place, but I was so close to winning. When we get our food my brain gets what I want, and then is like ok lets make her have a hard time thinking on what I want. Finally it comes back to my brain, and I remember it. Today I was heading to the trash, and the other girls were putting the tray away and grabbing all the stuff to take to the car. If we have a lot of a drink we will take it in the car and go to our own house and do whatever we want to it. Thanks for listening y’all.

Cacti are very unique to plants! by #Agent10

Cactus is a plant that has parts such as pads and thorns other than leaves. They are succulent plants for their spines storing water and their widish plant tissues for its meaning of succulent. They also have a different way of getting their food from photosynthesis called CAM photosynthesis. It works by the cactus’s stomata, which is the leaves of a plant’s holes to take carbon dioxide in for photosynthesis, opening in the night. This follows in the daytime. It could complete the photosynthesis process. Cacti has a very unique way to get its food from the sunlight.

Even though cacti has prickly spines to prick on neighboring predators, they are not immune to them. Animals such as rodents gnaw or bite on the pads of a cactus. This also includes bears and even humans eating the red fruit of the prickly pear cactus eating them in the late summer for humans. Speaking of them, prickly pears are common to the Americas with their flat and wide pads for fruit and pink to yellow flowers. They also have these antifreeze chemicals that work to make prickly pears able to live in the winter or cold temperatures, which I find interesting. Cacti is a very cool plant!  I would think having a cactus in my room would be very neat!

Bees Benefits to humans by #Agent8

Bees are actually one of the most helpful insects in the world. They do look really small and overlooked, but without bees, the plants and food we have wouldn't really exist the way we think they would.

One of the most important ways bees help us is by pollination. Whenever bees go from flower to flower collecting some nectar, they are also moving pollen between plants. This process allows our plants to grow fruits, vegetables, and even seeds. Foods that we eat almost daily like apples, almonds, strawberries, blueberries and cucumbers depend on bees so they can reproduce.

Bees help the environment in a lot of different ways. By pollinating the plants, they help and maintain healthy ecosystems. Many animals rely on fruits, plants, and even shelters. Bees are helping the food chains survive and remain balanced.

Another way bees help us is by giving us honey and beeswax. Honey, the natural sweetener, has a lot of antibacterial properties. People use it for sore throats, cooking, and sometimes even minor wounds. Beeswax is mostly used for making candles, lotions, cosmetics, and some medicines.

Very sadly, bees are facing a lot of serious threats today. Pesticides, habitat loss, and all the time, climate change have caused the bee populations to decline. Protecting the bees will help our food systems stay together. Planting flowers, avoiding some harmful chemicals, and maybe learning more about bees will help them for the future.

By caring about the bees will help out nature, food supplies, and biodiversity. Small actions can always help big things around the world. It can change the world into a much better and healthier place.

What I did in Pennsylvania. Part 1 Indoor stuff! By #Agent5

 

Most years for February break I go to Vermont. Last year I went to Pennsylvania. When we go to Vermont we always go with my sister's friends. I don't love that because it is not as fun to do things. I'd rather do it with my family. However, when we went to Pennsylvania we went with my grandparents, and it was so fun! We stayed at Skytop Lodge. We had gone there before, but when I was 5 or 6 years old. They have a gorgeous lobby ,and it is so cool how they decorate it! At a certain time of the day, you get free cookies and hot chocolate! Something that I find so amusing and entertaining is that everyday they have some sort of talented person come into the room and give you a show. For the time that we were there, it was mostly magicians. They gave us shows, and they picked some people to perform magic tricks to prove they were real. I thought that was so awesome how this hotel did things like that! One of the things that was awesome was the arcade! I went there every day! I didn't always play games there; I played ping pong, which I fell in love with! You could go there whenever, and my sister actually wanted to play with me, which is rare. We went down there at 11 o'clock at night and just played ping pong. It felt magical! They also had an indoor pool and a hot tub! They also have an outdoor pool, but it was closed because it was winter. I stayed in the pool most of the time because there was a sign that said “Ages 16+” for the hot tub, so I could not go in. Although, when I was swimming, there were a bunch of kids in the hot tub, and there were workers walking by and they did not say anything. So the next day I went in the hot tub and so did my sister. But about 2 minutes later, we got busted by a worker! We went to a breakfast restaurant named Lakeview. The food was phenomenal!

My trip to the Bahamas by #Agent20

Two weeks ago I went to the Bahamas! It was so much fun, and I got to do so many things. When I first got there I had to wait in a really, really long line that took about an hour and a half, for some sort of Immigration thing. Once I got to my hotel I unpacked my things and then went to the pool. After about 30 seconds I decided I would rather go to the beach and swim. I was shocked at how clear the water was. It was so beautiful. That night I watched a movie with my family.

The next day I went to the water park. All the slides were so much fun. My favorites were the Leap of Faith where you go down a steep body slide into a shark thing under water and, the Abyss where you go down a steep body slide in darkness and end up in some sort of underwater thing with lots of fish.

 The next day I went swimming with pigs! They were so big and very loud. We got to pet them and even feed them. Then we got to go snorkeling. I saw so many cool fish and even saw a rainbow fish. That night I went out for dinner and got one of the most delicious steaks I have ever had. 

It was our last day in the Bahamas, so I got my hair braided and bought the shirt I had been wanting. We went to the beach one last time and then left for the airport. I hope I get to have a vacation as great as this one again. 

What does good leadership look like? by #Agent21

There are a lot of people who have great leadership skills, but a good person who a lot of us know is Mike Vrabel. The reason I picked him is because of what he did for the 2026 Patriots and how. I believe he is a good coach because he probably encouraged his team to see the mistakes that they made so they can fix them, and he will tell them clearly so there are no misunderstandings. He maybe drew up different plays that worked better for the team to help them succeed in games.

  As most of us know the Patriots were a horrible team last year with a record of 4-13, which means they lost 13 and won 4. On the other hand this year Vrabel took the Patriots to an astonishing record of 13-4, making them one of the best teams in the NFL. Last year they had Jerod Mayo, who did not have any success with the Patriots whatsoever.

What is crazy to me is how a coach new to the team, took their team to the Super Bowl! What that is saying is that Mike Vrabel made his team one of the best teams this year. Mike Vrabel played for the Patriots, and that might be why he is so good. He is able to know what the players are feeling because he has also felt what was going on with the player.

He is one of many leaders who lead their team to be successful throughout a season.
