Disney by #Agent7

Hello and a welcome back to my blog! You might have read my blog about crocheting, but now we are changing the topic to Disney. Applause please. Thank you, thank you. You're too kind. Okay back on topic Disney. Fun fact I went to Disney a few days ago, awesome right? If you want:

Well then Disney is the place to be. A word of advice you need to book a time for Tron that is located in the Magic kingdom. A few rides I recommend are:

• Tron

• Seven Dwarfs

• Space Mountain 

•  Expedition Everest

• Guardians of the Galaxy

• Pandora  

• Thunder Mountain 

These are all rides that I recommend. Fast and Furious is not very fun, so I do not recommend this ride to you. Also you should do a character breakfast. When I had a character breakfast it was with Lilo and Stitch. Meeting them was a fun experience, and I want to share that experience with you. Going to Disney was super duper fun, and I have a feeling you will love it too. I would recommend a neck pillow for the flight and candy. You always need candy. What is FBU? by #Agent2

FBU is a football tournament in Florida. What you do there is you go to Florida and play for four  days and play football. FBU stands for Football University. What happens is they pick student athletes in certain states to play for that team in that state. I got  picked to play last year, and now I'm going to play again just for another team. This year I'm playing quarterback. It is going to be interesting playing with both of my cousins. I think this year is going to be really fun. I hope this year we win if we don't, that's OK I'm still going to go the year after that. I think the reason they have FBU is because players can debut their talent to get on high school football team then. They make it big. I hope I have a great time in Florida. I think FBU should be world wide, so then everyone should get a  chance to get more offers to play college football or high school football. I think this is the best part of my year to play football and see other people play football so I can learn more things about football. I think football is the best sport in my opinion.

How movies change by #Agent21

As you know some movies are changing into new things. For example Snow White changed into her being a warrior and raising an army, which is in my opinion not good because Disney just changed the original with a different type. Then they started to make Winnie The Pooh into a horror movie called  Winnie The Pooh Blood And Honey. I just don’t like how they think it’s a good idea to make it a horror movie. Disney Plus is now losing more people. The reason I also think that it is not ok to be changing movies and swapping it is because some people ignore the ratings. They think it's the original and go right ahead. It also uses part of their time expecting what is not to be expected of the movie. For me I like it to stay the original story, and it could have another part like a sequel. I think that's ok though. The only bit of disappointment is when the new Five Nights At Freddy’s movie came out. It only had a tiny change, which is fine for me. It's even better even though it didn’t really match the books. I’m hoping that the Moana live action movie will not change, but if it did I also hope that it will make an acceptable change. I am so excited for the movie to come out!

    Mars is a really good planet to be interested in. But, do you know any facts about it? Well if you don’t i’ll tell you some interesting facts! Let's get started.

      “Mars is the fourth planet from the sun at an average distance of about 228 million km, (142 million mile). Or 1.52 AU. Mars is surprisingly about half the size of Earth!” Mars is 55.74 million miles squared. Mars is in between Earth and Jupiter, so the distance would be 342 million miles between Mars and Jupiter, and Mars is 238.81 million miles. So Mars and Earth are closer together than Mars and Jupiter. Mars is red because the iron is abundant in Mars’ surface material rusts (oxidizes) as it is exposed to oxygen in the atmosphere. The resulting iron oxide gives rise to the planet’s reddish color, which is why it appears red when we see it in pictures. Mars has four seasons like Earth: summer, autumn, winter, and spring! Mars may look hot because it’s red, but it’s actually very cold! Mars is about minus 80 degrees F (minus 60 degrees Celsius).  Mars does have snow! Several feet of snow. “A summer day on Mars may get up to 70 degrees F (20 degrees C) near the equator, but at night the temperature can plummet to about minus 100 degrees F (minus 73 degrees C)”. Really funny fact is that “a dog would probably live on Mars in a small habitat. That would be the same for humans. “Only venturing outside in a spacesuit”. If a person wants to go to Mars they are going to need a pressure vessel, oxygen, a radiation shielding, water, food, and definitely energy.

Rocket by #Agent4

I wanted to talk about Rocket even knowing that I don’t know a lot  about Rocket because he ran away. I do know that his favorite spot in the house was the kitty tower, but he also loved sitting on my dad. His favorite food was the dry food he got every morning. Something he does in the morning is wake up my dad and watch Star. By the way, Star is a hamster. We had to return him. He loved to play hide and seek outside because he was a really good hider. He always hid under the shed and came out when he was hungry. I played with him inside sometimes. He loved to play trip every one. Dad I did not like it. He is really good at tripping people. He likes water a lot. He likes his toy mouse. I think he really liked the dynamite toy my dad got him. Rocket also liked his kitty tower. He liked me and dad a lot because my dad fed him. He loved my dad a lot. He was ok with me. He liked eating, running, jumping, and scratching things a lot. He liked a ball that had a bell inside.

In 1952 there were only six NHL teams. Did you know that some hockey players don’t wear mouth guards? Even though there is a lot of contact and fighting in hockey some people don’t wear mouth guards. Mouth guards prevent the player from biting their tongues and lowering the chance of chipped teeth or broken jaws. In the early 1900s, hockey refs used their hands to put the puck between the two players' sticks in the face off. This was not a good idea. After refs were cut, bruised, and broke their bones several times they decided to drop it in between the two players. Players used the Stanley Cup as a snack bowl for some reason. When an NHL team wins the Stanley cup each member on the team gets to keep it for twenty four hours (one day). As long as the watcher has a permit for it, the players may do anything they like with it. Since the Stanley Cup is a fruit punch bowl players use it to hold drinks and food. The most popular snacks to have in the Cup are chicken wings, ice cream, and cereal. I did not know that players used it for snacks and food. I thought this was very interesting. During a hockey game, goalies sweat as much as 10 pounds of sweat. Goalies sweat so much because of the amount of layers and thick padding. I hope you liked my blog!

Monkey Bread by #Agent4

    My family and I makes Monkey Bread. I wanted to tell you about this because when I was writing this Thanksgiving was a few days away, and I thought I should share something my family always does no matter what is going on. I will be telling you how my family makes Monkey Bread. First my mom goes to the store and gets the biscuits a few days before but not a lot of days. The biscuits are like a big, thick, long sheet, and the sheet is kind of sticky. On Thanksgiving day my mom and sister cuts the biscuits into triangles. Then we put cinnamon and sugar into a plastic bag and the biscuits triangles in the bag too! We make too bags. Then my brother William and I grab one bag and shake the bags so the cinnamon and sugar gets on the biscuits. After My sister Avery puts butter in a circular pan and melts it. Then she puts the biscuits in and brown sugar. Then she gets a new pan and puts the biscuits in the pan and pours the butter and brown sugar oil on the biscuits. Then she backs it for a few minutes, and then she takes it out and walla! Monkey Bread! I love Monkey Bread so much, and I always look forward to it on Thanksgiving morning.

New Hampshire by #Agent1

   Last weekend I went to New Hampshire  with my best friend. On the ride there we listened to Taylor Swift. When we got there we played charades. Then we went outside and played with the dogs. Afterwards, we went inside and ate dinner. Then we watched a movie. The next day we went to a ski place because there was a rollercoaster,  but it was closed so we went to this shop and got a card game and crochet ghost ornament. After that we went out to lunch. When we got home we played the card game then we ate dinner. We went outside. Then we roasted marshmallows and played with the dogs. The next day we played Twister. Then we had to go home so we got in the car and we. stopped at Starbucks. Then we got back in the car and listened to Taylor Swift. When we got back home we asked our parents if we could see each other. she came over, and we went on my trampoline then we went on a walk with my cat. My best friend had a lot of fun.  Then we had to take her home. We said goodbye, and then when I got home we called each other.    

                                         

A day in the life of a Karate player By #Agent15

I think self defense is a great way to defend yourself or a family member. I participate in karate every afternoon after school. I have to get off the bus, go inside, and take a quick shower. After that I put my uniform on and then put my orange belt on. After I get dressed I grab all of my karate equipment. Then I get in my car and drive there. It's always a  ten minute drive to my studio. When I get there I put my sparring gear on and wait for everyone to get there. Then when everyone was there I warmed up with some kicking and a punching bag. Then it's finally time to start SPARRING!!! THE OTHER OPPONENT HITS SOME HARD PUNCHES BUT, I HIT HARD BACK AND WON THE MATCH. After I won the match I bowed to my opponent. He won a second place trophy, and I was so proud of myself. I had won my 1st trophy. When my sense gave me my orange belt and my trophy he told me one thing practice makes perfect. When I got home I hung my trophy on my wall, and I felt so proud of myself.

Nickelodeon by #Agent5

I used to adore Nickelodeon, especially Nickelodeon on Sunset when I was younger. So my mom and dad brought me and my siblings in the summer. On the plane I spilled orange juice on my pants TWICE, but my mom bought two extra pairs in the carry on. When we landed I shouted, but my mom told me to quiet down in Arabic. That evening we went to lunch. I probably ate some mac and cheese or grilled cheese. I was so tired that when we came back I passed out on the bed sleeping. That same morning we went to eat breakfast. I ate the best pancakes EVER! Later I went to go meet the ninja turtles because I loved them. Then I met Dora. But then it was time for the slime! I didn't want to get my hair dirty. So I told the person that was going to slime my family I didn't want to do it. She asked me if I wanted to slime my family. And I said YES. She put the mic to my mouth. And she said, “What is your name?” I said my name. And I got to slime my parents. They took one hour to get the slime out of their hair. But my dad is bald so it took him three minutes to get the slime off him! But then we sadly had to leave. So we got on the plane and left!

My Lacrosse tournament by #Agent12

Last weekend, I played in The last lacrosse tournament of the fall season. I was so excited to play in my last fall tournament with 3D the 2031 blue team. I was very happy because we had a four game win streak from the other tournament, and I was not going to stop now. The beginning face off started the game.  I was playing a team from New Hampshire, and it was a back and forth game. There were no goals scored.  Then right before half time, the other team scored! This got my team down, but we then came out firing, scoring two goals in a row leaving five minutes on the clock.  I was getting nervous!  What if they scored again? Then they would tie up the game.  But with great defensive stops we had ourselves another win.

While waiting for the next game my friends were getting cocky and were saying how much they were going to score. Kids were eating.  Everyone was happy, but I saw it coming and they weren't ready.

The next game

We were up against another good team. The second the ref blew the whistle the other team was ready, and we were not. My defense and I had good stops, but they came right back. By the half it was two to nothing. The other team’s fans were going crazy. They thought the game was won! But we are not going out like that. My team tied it up 3 to 3, and they threw everything they had. We scored twice, and before that I stole the ball twice. The other team did everything they could but nothing worked on me. With six games won in a row we had one game left.

This game was a blowout. My team put up four points in the first half and with the D, and I going crazy, we could not be stopped. The other team scored one point when I was on the bench, but no more of that happened. with the ending score being 8 to 1. We went undefeated. I could not be more happy! And then it got better. On the ride home I found out that my brother just won the Superbowl!

 

       

Sandwich menu by #Agent18

I make pretty good sandwiches. They are easy to make. First you have to select your bread for the sandwich you want. I like sliced bread that comes in a polkadot bag. There’s also other types of bread like wraps and sub rolls.

The fluffernutter sandwich is made with only three ingredients, peanut butter, marshmallow fluff, and bread.  It tastes delicious warmed in the microwave for 20 seconds and with cold milk.  The fluffernutter sandwich started in Massachusetts. It became popular during a time when people did not have a lot of money, so they would eat a fluffernutter sandwich instead of eating meat.

Garden Tomato and cheese sandwich is an excellent choice during the summer. I go to the farmers market and pick the reddest tomatoes I can find. I slice the tomatoes thin and put it on toast with mayo, salt, pepper and a slice of cheese.

The Tabouleh wrap sandwich is the easiest to make.  Just scoop out hummus and tabouleh on wrap bread, Just spread it on the wrap and roll it up. It can get messy if you don’t roll it right.

My favorite sandwich to make is an Italian sub I make it just like they do at Subway. Salami, pepperoni, and cheese on the roll and toasted in the oven just to melt next add some hot pepper relish, lettuce tomatoes, and extra jalapeños with oil and vinegar. 

My sandwiches are excellent any time of day.

North Carolina by #Agent8

For Thanksgiving I am going to my family’s house in North Carolina. We are going with my mom’s whole side of the family, including all of my cousins. First I have to get on a plane and fly 2 and a half hours to North Carolina. Then drive one and a half hours to the house. Then we wake up and eat breakfast and do some activities. Activities include playing with my cousins, hanging out with family, going shopping, exploring the mountains, and helping prepare the next meal (which is very unlikely). We eat the meal,  and then we will probably play spoons or fishbowl. We also sled down hills that don’t even have any snow on them. Everybody thinks that it’s so cold, but we don’t think so. All of my mom’s family lives in Florida. That is why they think it is cold when we don’t. We always walk to this pond and throw rocks in it. In the summer we go tubing in a lake. We also jump off of really high rocks.  We go white water rafting and river tubing. The water is always so cold. Going to North Carolina is always so fun, and I look forward to it all the time.

How to make apple cider/juice from scratch By #Agent13

I am going to tell you about when I made apple cider/juice at my grandmother’s house in Estonia. It took our whole family to do it! Ten people! We used fresh apples from her trees in her huge garden!

We had to wake up early that morning because making apple cider would take all day! When we got outside we collected all the apples that fell down from the trees because those are ripest ones! Then we got to climb on the ladder to look in the trees for any more ripe apples! By the time we got all the apples together we had at least 12 big buckets full of apples! After that we got more buckets and put water in them. We grabbed sponges and washed all the apples very carefully. Afterward we cut out all the bad spots on the apples. After that we used a special shredder machine to make the apples into nice, small pieces. Then we wrapped some cloth over the shredded apple in the shape of a square. We created about 6 squares of apples wrapped in cloth. Then we stacked all the squares of apples wrapped in cloth and squeezed them altogether so the juice came out into a bucket. We poured the juice from the bucket into a big metal jar so that the wasps wouldn’t get it. After that we cleaned all the machines and materials up and brought the big jar of apple cider/juice inside. Then we boiled all the apple cider/juice in a big pot. The aroma was so good! It still took multiple times to boil it all but we finally finished. We put the apple cider/juice into special bags with dispensers. Lastly we stored the apple cider/juice in the basement and took some for ourselves to drink! I love making apple cider/juice! Have you ever made apple cider/juice?

My Last Soccer Game by #Agent3

When my last soccer game came, I was really sad. I had already started indoor soccer, but I will still miss that season.

On Saturday morning, I was up and out of bed by 7 am. I was excited and sad at the same time. I was ready for that game. If we won, we would stay in first. If we tied we would have tied first place, and if we lost we would be in second place. When I got there, my team and I started practicing. Then the time had come. We finished practicing. Our coach put me as the striker, which is not normal. About ten or so minutes in I scored the first goal! Everyone was proud of me because it was a beautiful goal. At half time I was the only player to score. When the second half started the other team got a goal. My whole team was sad, but we knew we were going to get a goal again. A couple of minutes later my teammate scored a goal, but I think that someone was offsides because the goal didn't count. Then a couple of minutes went by and the other team scored a goal. Now my team was mad because now we needed two more goals to win. Shortly after, the game ended, and we lost. My team and I were sad, but we just had to wait to see the other teams score. A couple of days later the score showed up. They won. I was sad but also happy because I played a great season.

Fishing by #Agent6

Have you ever wondered about fishing? I use a spinning fishing rod. How you use a spinning rod is opening this thing called a bail. To open the bail you flick it to the right, but when you’re ready to close the bail you flick it to the left. Also be sure to hold the line when you are casting and let go when you close the bail. There are different types of lures like crankbait, jerkbait, and soft plastic worms. You use the soft plastic worms (or real worms) by attaching a bobber to your line and casting your rod. When the bobber hits the water you wait for a fish to bite. You use a crankbait by casting and then reeling it in. You use jerkbait by casting and reeling, but every few seconds you pause and jerk the lure. Fishing lines can handle different pounds of force. Mine can handle 8 lbs of force while others can handle 100-250 pounds of force for the biggest fish. Fun fact! The biggest fish ever caught was a Great White Shark that weighed 2,664 pounds. Near where I live is a big reservoir. My grandpa caught three crappies there. My brother caught some pickerels, and my grandma caught a 4 inch largemouth bass. They also thought they saw a pike jump. Dogs by #Agent17

There are many types of dogs like the German Shepherd, Goldendoodle and so many more. There are 360 dog breeds in the world. Dogs are color blind and can see blue, gray, brown, and yellow. I feel bad for dogs because not all dogs can see all four colors. Most can only see blue and yellow. All police forces use German Shepherds. For people who have a disability that can't see anything, that dog is mainly a Golden Retriever like Bentley. These dogs need to be trained, then the trainer becomes blind folded and lets the dog help them throw obstacles. Most people keep dogs as pets. Dogs are one of the most loved pets other than cats. I have had four dogs in my life. 3 were my parents. One is mine now. Dogs are faster than humans by 18 miles.  I wish I was that dog, so I wouldn't have to take the bus. I can just run to school. My life would be so much easier and faster because of that. Did you know the first dog in the world was the wolf that was bred into a Shih Tzu and then they kept on breeding into other dog?

The 4th holiday is Veterans Day, which is also celebrated on November eleventh. This holiday is mostly celebrated in the U.S. They celebrate this holiday to honor Veterans. The fifth SHICHI-GO-SAN, which  is celebrated on November fifteenth. This holiday is mostly celebrated in Japan. Japanese celebrities celebrate this holiday to honor young children. The sixth holiday is BON OM TOUK. This holiday is also celebrated on November 15th. This holiday is mostly celebrated in Cambodia. The seventh holiday is Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is celebrated on the fourth Thursday of the month.This holiday is mostly celebrated in the U.S.They celebrate the holiday to give thanks.

The amazing trip by #Agent19

Every year my family and I go to Austin, Texas. My cousins, grandparents, and aunt live there. My family on my dad’s side live all around America, so I usually only get to see them two times a year. This year my mom can’t come because the daycare our dog goes to is not boarding during Thanksgiving break, so she has to take care of her. We leave Monday and come back late Friday. Texas is always a great time to spend with my family and have an amazing Thanksgiving. I can’t wait to go every year and see everyone. I’m disappointed that my mom can’t come, but it’ll still be a great time. So many people are at my cousin's house all the time that it feels like I’m in a stadium. I stay with my grandparents and go to my cousin's house in the morning. One thing I love about my grandparent’s house is that they live right near a place that has a pool table. I love playing pool against my dad. I always want to stay for longer, because of how much fun I’m having. My cousins, aunts, and uncles are always so nice to me, and I have the best time going.

Boston by #Agent11

My family and I went to Boston for a day. First we got in the car to go to Boston. It felt like the car ride was so long. We finally arrived, and we went to the parking lot. Then we had to get on the train to go to The View 360. Then we had to walk. I saw a store.  We went and I saw slippers. My mom got them for me.  Now I wear them everywhere. They have a pink smiley face on the top, and they are so soft. Then we walked to the train station and got on the train. Then we got off, and we walked to The 360 View. I could see a lot of buildings. I could see the finish line for the Boston road race. I saw Fenway park. It looked so small from this view. Then we were going to go to the Snowport.  We had to go on one train to go on another train. Then we walked. Then we got there, and it was so amazing. From the first look we were all so hungry, and then we found a place where we could eat a snack. We had the best food. It was a waffle with nutella, strawberries, banna, nuts, peanut butter, and chocolate syrup. It was so good!! Then we went looking around. It was a fun weekend.

Jake by #Agent16

Jake turned 9 years old a couple days ago. His favorite birthday present he got was a huge soccer net. His parents set it up right away, and they went out and started off by playing Knockout. Knockout is a game when there is one goalie, and the rest of players are in a line. If the player shoots and scores, the goalie is out. If they miss or the goalie saves it, the player who shot it becomes goalie.  The old goalie goes to the end of the line.

The next couple days, Jake was always outside practicing his soccer before the bus came. After school, he would pick up where he left off. It went like that for a whole year. Finally his parents made him come in when it got too cold. He was upset but came in anyways.

In the spring, he had soccer tryouts. He did really well. Jake was confident he would make the team. The team lineups didn’t reach the families until late summer. When they did come, Jake looked at them right away. At first he couldn’t believe his eyes. His name wasn’t on the list. Then he realized that he was looking at the kids who didn’t make the team. He turned the paper over to see the lineup. He was right where he wanted. Right at the top of the list. Almost all of his friends made it too. He was going to have an awesome soccer season.

Planning For Disney by #Agent22

Swoosh! Tomorrow I'm going to Disney World! I'm so excited. Tomorrow I have to wake up at 3:00 AM, and our flight leaves at 7:00 AM. I’m going there for five days. The first day I am going to Animal Kingdom. I think Animal Kingdom is going to be my favorite park because I love animals. Animal Kingdom has different parts of the world, and each part of the world has the animal that lives in that habitat.One thing I heard about Animal Kingdom is that the mac and cheese has ribs in it (Yummy). The second day we are going to Epcot. I don’t know too much about Epcot, but I think it will be really interesting. That night we are going to Mickey's Christmas Party. The third day we are going to Hollywood Studios, and I am really excited for that park. The last day we are going to the famous Magic Kingdom. The castle at Magic Kingdom is the same castle in the beginning of Disney movies. The hotel that we are staying at is the Yacht Club and Beach Club. Right outside of the Beach Club there is an ice cream place, and they have an option on their menu that is called The Kitchen Sink. They fill up a kitchen sink with ice cream and any topping you want.

Facts about turtles by #Agent20

Turtles are very interesting sea creatures. In ancient times, turtles used to be called “Chelonian”. Chelonian was an ancient Greek word that many people used. Turtles are usually found in Southeastern North Carolina to the middle coast of Florida, North America, and South Asia. The bones on a turtle are actually on the outside! In fact, turtles have bones in their shells. Usually, when the turtle is scared they will hide under their shells! But only if they are physically able to do it. Their retractable bone moves the head to hide in their shells, and the flexible bone moves it in. Turtles sleep on a dry rock or with their head poking out of the water. But they may also sleep underwater for shorter periods of time, coming up to take a deep breath when they need it. Turtles love to travel! Turtles travel 16,000 km (10,000 miles) or more each year. They travel that far to search for jellyfish. Turtles cross the whole Pacific Ocean to find a jellyfish. Sadly, some people litter and don’t take care of the world. If we litter and throw trash bags everywhere, they could travel out to the ocean, and turtles can mistake them as a jellyfish and eat them. This is very bad for the turtles and the environment.

Six Flags by #Agent8

This blog is about when I went to six flags. I went to six flags a few weeks ago.  Lily, my dad, her Dad, Lily’s sister, and I went. We had so much fun. First we ran to Superman. We needed to get there quickly before everyone started coming in. YES! We got there and there was no one in line. We got in the back row and WOOSHHHH! That was so much fun! Next we walked all over the park to find Catwoman. Found it! We hopped in the front row because there was no line. YAY! What’s next? The RIDDLER. We had to wait   thirty minutes until we got to the front of the line. We finally got on and screamed SO loud. After we got off we felt really nauseous. So we went to go get some food. I got chicken fingers. They were so good. Then we walked a little so that we could digest our food. Then we hopped on Batman. Batman has so many loops, going upside down, and it goes so fast. We got on, and I closed my eyes the whole time. We got off that one, and we were exhausted. So we went out. We walked so far and finally came to the parking lot. When we got there, so many people were in line for the trolley.  So we just wanted to walk to save time. Finally we made it to our car, and we sat down and drove to a Pho place. I got really good noodles there. That is the story of my Six Flags trip.

A day in the life of a baseball player By: #Agent15

When I wake up in the morning by my noisy alarm clock I think of three words: let's play ball!!. When I’m awake I go to the kitchen to tell my mom what I want to eat, and she cooks it for me. After I’m done eating I head to the bathroom and wash up and brush my teeth and use the bathroom. After I’m done in the bathroom I return  back to bed for ten  minutes to relax before I fully wake up.  Then I put all of my equipment on and get ready. Then I go outside and jog for 20 minutes around my house and head back inside and do some more exercises. After I’m done exercising my body was fully motivated. I grab all my equipment and head to the car to drive to the baseball fields. While I’m in the car I sometimes like listening to some music to pump me up for the game. When I get to the fields I grab all of my equipment out of my car and head on to the pitching mound to warm up. While I'm getting warmed up I looked to my right and saw all of my teammates moms and dads watching us warm up. After I got warmed up with my teammates the game finally started!!!. Coach put me on 1st base to guard people from stealing, and an opponent tried stealing 1st base.  I struck him out, and the crowd cheered. At the end of the game we ended up winning 4-2, and I was proud of myself.

All about basketball by #Agent10

People used to use a soccer ball to play basketball. There used to be no dribbling! The first time someone dribbled a basketball was in 1897. The hoops were peach baskets with no backboard. Later in the 1900s they invented string baskets and soon backboards too. One of the first NBA teams was the Boston Celtics. Dunking was soon banned by the NBA for 1967-1977 seasons. They added it back in the 1988 season. A shoe got banned from the NBA! The shoes that got banned were the Air Jordans. They were banned because the shoes have to match with the uniform they are wearing or else the person will be fined. 60% of basketball players became broke after five years of their career. There are Thirty NBA teams in the league. The team with the best record in the NBA right now is the Boston Celtics with the record of 4-0. The Celtics are my home team, and I am happy their record is good. The NBA was founded on June 6, 1946. Last year the NBA champions were the Denver Nuggets. I think the Celtics have a good shot at winning this year.  Speaking of the Celtics the logo for Twitter was named after Larry Bird. I hope you liked my blog!

How to go to sleep quicker by #Agent2

Fall asleep faster by reducing stress and promoting relaxation before bed. According to SleepFoundation.org “A helpful approach includes listening to peaceful music, using progressive muscle relaxation, and meditating. Regularly taking more than 45 minutes to fall asleep is a sign of insomnia and may indicate sleep issues.” Make sure that He\She\They are in a dark, quiet room and try to relax if He\She\They can't. He\She\They can listen to white noise.That is my favorite way to go to sleep faster. He\She\They don't want to be distracted when you go to sleep. A reason why sometimes when He\SheThey  can't fall asleep is because poor sleeping habits  include an irregular bedtime schedule, naps, stimulating activities before bed, an uncomfortable sleep environment, and using your bed for work, eating or watching TV. Computers, TVs, video games, smartphones or other screens just before bed can interfere with your sleep cycle. A weird thing that happens to me when I'm not tired i just go to sleep. When I am tired it takes me longer to go to sleep. Something weird that I do I'm not sure if other people do this but I roll around in my sleep.

Taylor Swift movie by #Agent1

Last Thursday I went to the Taylor Swift movie with my cousin. It was really fun. We both love Taylor Swift.  I dressed up as 1989, and my cousin dressed up as Reputation. There were about 15 people in the movie theater. About half of the people were not Swifties, they were on their phone.  The Swifties got up to dance and sing, I got the Taylor Swift bucket and cup and that came with free candy and a poster. The movie was so fun. We got to sit in the first and second row because there were barely any people. After the movie finished the Swifties were clapping. Taylor Swift made one of the best movies ever. After the movie we heeded home because it was 9:00 pm we all said goodbye and headed home. When I got home I had a bunch of sparkles in my hair because there was this spray sparkle thing for your hair. They forgot  mention that it won't come out for a few more weeks. In the movie They cut out some songs, but I was sad that they cut out Wildest Dreams, Getaway Car, and Long Live. I loved the movie. 

Astronauts by #Agent17

Did you know that astronauts had to go into training for six years? One of the things they have to do is put the space suit on. Then they go into a pool then another trainer puts a lid over the pool. If the astronaut does not want to, they would be able to quit the training anytime they want. Did you know that the astronaut suit weighs over a hundred pounds? Astronauts have to work out daily in space, and they have to work out if they want to go to space. Did you know that astronauts drink pee, not straight-up? There is a machine that helps get rid of all the bad stuff so it's ok to drink. Astronauts have to swallow their own toothpaste. Astronauts have to do it because if they spit it out it will fly everywhere. Did you know that they have a little bedroom where they can keep what they want like a family photo or a computer?  When they workout they have a strap so they don't fall off when the spaceship moves. Did you know that astronauts' spacesuits take little more than an hour to put on and off? Did you know that astronauts get an award which is the Congressional Space Medal of Honor? In my opinion I wouldn't want to be an astronaut even if it paid a lot of money because I would get sick and puke and it would fly everywhere and I would not want to swallow toothpaste. 

DISNEY WORLD!!! by #Agent5

The last two years I begged my mom and dad to go to Disney, and they said, “No next year.” But they really meant next year because that same Christmas they gave me and my sister five tickets to Disney World with Minnie/Mickey mouse t-shirts for me, mom, dad, brother, and my sister. I was speechless and started crying tears of joy! We had to start packing that same day because the trip was in three days. I packed four different bathing suits, three PJs and a bunch of shorts and t-shirts! Next thing I knew I was on a one and a half hour plane ride to Orlando, Florida! Once I arrived there I went straight to all the rides with my brother. But my mom didn't want me to get hurt on the ride. So we didn't go! But the next day we went to Legoland, and we built a little Lego sculpture white waiting for the line to get shorter to go on the ride! My mom and I were soaked with water the whole entire day. Then we went to Seaworld and went through the massive aquariums. It was so funny that I almost peed my pants! The next day we sadly had to leave Florida. 

Trick or Treating by#Agent22

  This year I went trick or treating with my friends. We went to so many houses. It was crazy. The neighborhood we went in had so many houses, and I got so much candy. My favorite candy I got was five king size Twix bars. My costume was a glow up mask, and with one click of a button it could start flashing. The reason why I picked the costume was because I liked having a costume with just a mask, and it is so much easier and more comfortable.  The place we went to was a neighboring town. It was the first time I went out by myself with my friends. I wanted to go with my friends this year because I heard that the neighborhood gave out a lot of king size candy bars. I just want to thank my parents for trusting me to go by myself. After we were done trick or treating we went to a friend's house to trade candy and to watch the Toledo vs Buffalo game. After I got home I ate half of my candy then I traded candy with my siblings.  Then I hit the hay. It was such a fun night, and I will never forget it.

What a school day is like as a Fifth grader! by #Agent13

Here I am, walking through the halls of school, wondering what I would learn today. As I walk into class I wave to my classmates and head to the cubbies to unpack my stuff. Then I put my folder away, get my lanyard, grab my Chromebook, and sit down at my seat. I do my detective log, which is a form that we fill out every morning so that our teacher can see how we’re feeling. When I finish I either do cursive handwriting or typing. After that we go to either art, gym, music, or health. When we get back we go to our reading groups. Hyperdocs, reading group and SSR (Sustained Silent Reading). All so much fun! Once reading group time is over, it’s time for math. We either do partners, groups, or stations. Once math is over we go to lunch. Our teacher lets us eat in the classroom if we want to, but if you have to finish some work you have to go back to the classroom. After lunch everybody crowds around the door to go outside for recess. Once we are finally inside from the freezing cold or the scorching heat we listen to a book called Rover’s Story! It is an amazing book! After that if it's Thursday we go to the library. We switch from social studies and science every day. Then, once we finish social studies or science we pack up, and it’s time to go home! On Tuesdays and Thursdays we go to Homework club! Homework club is in our classroom. It’s after school and you can go if you want to,but you have to sign up! I love going to school!

 

Tyreek Hill by #Agent16

Tyreek Hill is one of the best wide receivers in NFL history. In this blog I will tell you a little bit about his career.

His first college was Garden City Community College. He ran track and played football there. He stayed at Garden City Community for one year then went to Oklahoma State for a year. Next he went to West Alabama University to play football for 1 year. Then he got drafted in 2016 in round 5 by the Kansas City Chiefs.

Tyreek proved himself worthy in his rookie season by getting 593 reception yards and 6 touchdowns. He also ran the ball for 267 yards and 3 touchdowns. He had 976 kick return yards and 3 touchdowns. 

Before the 2022 season, Tyreek was traded to the Miami Dolphins. He traveled from Missouri to Florida. In his first season at Miami, he had 1710 reception yards and 7 touchdowns. That was the most yards he had gotten in one season in his career and the least touchdowns other than his rookie season.

He received the nickname “Cheetah” because of his speed. His fastest time at 40 yard dash was 4.29 seconds, which is equivalent to 19 miles per hour. In a game against the Denver Broncos, Tyreek ran 22 miles per hour on a 15 yard completion.

In his career he has 9,354 receiving yards and 71 receiving touchdowns. Tyreek Hill truly is one of the best receivers in NFL history.

The most popular holidays by #Agent21

The most popular holiday is Thanksgiving! I personally have no favorites, but if I HAVE to choose I would choose Christmas because it is when Jesus was born. I also like Christmas mostly because of gifts, I let go of all my grudges and forgive and forget. I also like Christmas because of the family time I get to have with my family and most of all, the food. I really, really love the food. I like when we either have the turkey, chicken, and steak. Holidays are also celebrated sometimes because of religion like Christmas and Hanukkah and others. The other coming holiday is Thanksgiving, then before Thanksgiving it was Halloween.  After Thanksgiving it is Black Friday! I didn’t even know what it was. I've also been wondering what do some holidays mean? Halloween means when monsters come out and people dress up in costumes and set up decorations to ward them off. The true meaning of Christmas is the celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ. The true meaning of Black Friday is a break from work. Thanksgiving means a day of prayer for a blessing for everyone. Though there are lots of meanings of other holidays I would leave that to  another person too. Now a question for you: what's your favorite holiday? What holidays do you celebrate?

There are many dog breeds like a Husky or a Golden Retriever. The most popular dog breed is a Labrador Retriever. The Labrador Retrievers usually have brown or black eyes. There is also more than one kind of a Labrador Retriever. There is a lab called a Chocolate Lab. These labs are a chocolatey color. Labs have webbed feet, so they are very good swimmers. Labs also are mostly popular in the UK and the U.S. Labs can live up to 12 years old. The least popular dog breed is a Skye Terrier. The Skye Terrier is a very small dog. It has grayish hair that is very long, and its ears are standing up. This dog can live up to 15 years old. This dog is also a very friendly, smart, and good dog. Skye Terrier Females usually weigh 25-31 pounds (12-14kg), and males usually weigh 35-40 (16-18kg). The oldest dog in the world is Bobi. Bobi lived for thirty one years and 165 days. Bobi was a Rafeiro do Alentejo. Rafeiro do Alentejo usually lived for 10 to 14 years. Rafeiro do Alentejo mainly live in Portugal and were originally from Portugal. The most popular dog name is Max, which is short for Maxous. The least popular dog name is Birdie.
