My Dog By #lexieagent6

My dog, Buddy, is a Cavachon. A Cavachon is a mutt or designer dog mix. It is a mix between a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and a Bichon. It has the long ears of the Cavalier, and the fluffy fur of the Bichon. Right now, Buddy is six years old. I got him when he was a puppy from my aunt. She had two other dogs with disabilities so she could not take care of Buddy. When we got him, he had a bad stomach disease. We changed his diet and now he is much happier. He loves to run around and have fun in the summer, but he’s still super lazy and annoying sometimes. He loves to play tug-of-war and ball. Don’t expect him to bring it back though! Even with his flaws, he is the cutest dog in the world and I love him so much.

These past weeks my classmates and I have been doing  Rube Goldberg Machines. What are Rube Goldberg machines? They're machines that  can do an easy task. How you may ask? It depends on what you do to make it work. In another word Rube Goldberg Machines are like a domino effect. Why? Because one thing hits another then another. This causes something to happen.

How a 3D printer works by #Oliveragent14

 When you see a 3D printer whirring away and making models, have you ever wondered what makes it able to do so? The process starts when you use a program to make a virtual shape or use a scanner to replicate an existing object. There are 7 types of 3D printing, but I’ll just cover three. The first way is called “Stereolithography”, which after the pattern is traced, the platform with the plastic goes down to the thickness of the level. Then it places down a layer on top of the level, and then the layer is traced, attaching it to the bottom layer. This repeats until the shape reaches its desired height. The second way is “Material Jetting”, in which the material is deposited drop by drop from a nozzle, making the frame, then is hardened by UV light. The third and final way I’ll cover is “ Fused deposition modeling”, where coils of plastic or material are deposited into a nozzle where they melt, that can turn the flow on or off. Then it is guided by a computer program that was used to make the shape. So next time you see or use a 3D printer, think about how it works and the work that went into making this amazing machine. (And see if you can find the type of printer it is!)

So hello everyone. I wanted to do my blog on my experience blogging. Fun fact: our whole class hit 200 blogs! That's crazy. When I first started blogging, I just did it for fun. And I still do. I realized that people read them and really like them. And I started to get so happy because people really enjoyed them. I've also learned so much from this. It's helped me with my writing and grammar. I've started to make fewer mistakes, and I still do. But I've come so far. And it's amazing to know each and every one of you really like my blogs. Through this journey, I also got to learn more about my classmates too. I got to know what they like, and where they have been to. Blogging is so much fun, and I will miss it. But it's crazy that everyone here has watched me grow. Thank you all for reading my blogs.

Blue Bunny Blog by #Maelynagent2

This week was so fun hanging out with Maelyn’s family and friends. She told me all about her big dance recital on Sunday. Can you believe she was in seven different dances? I got to sleep in her room, and she even made me my own bed to sleep in. Tuesday we went to get ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!! We went to Flint Farm with her good friend. I got watermelon sherbet with gummy bears on top, it was so yummy. Wednesday and Thursday we played outside, and she showed me all her ripsticking skills. It was so amazing I wish I could learn how! I really love staying at Maelyn’s house! She added to my house this week too, she added some pompoms to the outside and on the inside she made me a poster. My favorite part about staying with Maelyn was getting to know her, they made me feel so comfortable.

My review on Chic 2 Chic by #Caitlynagent2

    This week my blog is a review on a store called Chic 2 Chic. First I will give you a brief description of what this store is like. Chic 2 Chic is located in Foxboro, Massachusetts. This store is different than a lot of stores because it sells people's old clothes for not a lot of money, but it is also known as a consignment store. If you would like to sell your clothes you have to make sure that they are in wearable shape. They currently offer a junior, women, and men section of the store in THIS location.

        When I go to Chic 2 Chic I always feel welcomed because all of the employees are very nice and helpful. They have a wide variety of sizes ranging from extra small to extra large. Every size section is very organized and has a variety of clothes to choose from. At the store that have just about every popular clothing company you can think of. Forever 21 to American Outfitters. The fascinating store has a lot of merchandise to feature. like this store for back to school shopping, holiday dresses, and Halloween. Forever 21 to American Outfitters. Chic 2 Chic doesn't just sell clothes they also sell shoes, purses, clutches, and jewelry.

       I would recommend this store to to anyone who like. Shopping and clothes.

Girls Lax Positions by #avaagent20

Hello this week I am going to explain the positions in girl’s lacrosse. The first position is the goalie. You probably know what the goalie does. They keep the other team from scoring. Now to the midfielders! This is my personal favorite position. There are 3 midfielders on the field at a time. One midfielder takes the faceoff, which makes it a fair way for your team to get the ball. The other two stand outside of the circle where the faceoff is going on. The midfielders can go on the whole field. Attack! Actually it's the attackers. The attackers go on the side of the field where the other team’s goalie is. The other team’s defense cover you. You can go anywhere on the field but, the side where your team’s goalie. The last position is the defense. The defense is on the side where your team’s goalie is. You cover the other team’s attack. You can not go on the side where the other team’s goalie is. I wouldn’t recommend going on the side where you can’t go because they will call an off sides on your team. Thanks for reading.

Chipotle is a restaurant that serves burritos, burrito bowls, tacos, and quesadillas. In burritos, burrito bowls, and tacos, you get a choice of rice, beans, meat, salsa, or anything else. Burrito bowls are burritos in a bowl, but without the tortilla. The rice choices are white or brown, the beans are black and pinto, the meat is steak, chicken, beef, pork, and sofritas(tofu). The salsa choices are mild, medium, hot, and corn. You can also get cheese, sour cream, lettuce, or guacamole. The quesadillas are just what you think they are, tortillas with cheese inside. When I go, I like to get a burrito with brown rice, steak, hot salsa, cheese, and guacamole. If you go, what do you like to get?

DC and Marvel are rival comic companies. This week we will take a look at different features of them. We will see who reigns supreme based off my opinion.

Heroes: DC has many famous heroes such as Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman, The Flash, Green Lantern, and more! Marvel's Iron Man, Thor, Hulk, Captain America, Black Widow, and many more rival these great heroes. I have to give this one to DC as it's great heroes are a household name.

Villains: The greatest heroes can only be rivaled by the worst villains. DC’s Joker, Darkseid, and Lex Luthor are a menacing threat. Marvel has Green Goblin, Red Skull, Thanos, and Galactus on their side. The Joker is known almost everywhere. Marvel doesn't’ have that many villains, but they do have much more powerful ones. I am going to give this one to Marvel.

Movies: The MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe) is the top-grossing franchise of all time. Over 10 billion dollars worldwide. They also have had some of the biggest movies. The DCEU (DC Extended Universe) is new to the world of movies. Those two movies are Man of Steel and Batman vs Superman. Both of these movies didn’t get good reviews. Also, DC only really had Batman and Superman movies. Marvel has a whole array of characters. Marvel Wins this one.

TV:  DC has 4 Live Action shows on right now. The Flash, Arrow, Legend of Tomorrow, and Supergirl. Marvel's Agents of Shield, Jessica Jones, and Daredevil are up to match that. But Daredevil and Jessica Jones are on Netflix. They are not on network television. DC’s shows all are on the CW and are all connected. I am going to give this on to DC.

Venous Malformation by #Katieagent18

A lot of people ask me what is wrong with my leg, now I am going to be telling you what’s wrong with my leg. A venous malformation is when all the veins form a glob instead of going straight up and down. My legs are also different from each other because people who have it have a red spot on their skin, but mine is different because it wraps around my Achilles tendon.

This is how it all started. I was born with a venous malformation in the  first place, but it kept coming back then going away. Here is when the big problem came. I did a backflip off a couch and landed on my ankle. So I went to the doctor, and the doctor told me that I  have sprained my ankle, and be in a purple cast for 7-8 weeks during the summer!  An exciting thing happen, I got my cast off on September 24, and my birthday September 25! The swelling in my leg was still  SO huge, and the doctor had no clue what happen to me. I went to Mass General Hospital to get an MRI, and I got three MRIs that took two straight hours! Then I went to another doctor at Mass General Hospital. The last doctor was not from MGH. I really was hoping the doctor would tell me what was wrong with my leg! The doctor said I could still play sports, but I have to do swimming and wear a compression stocking for twenty-three hours a day. Also, I can only take it off when it involves water, I can only be in water that is 75 degrees Fahrenheit no hotter than that or my leg will start to hurt and get big again. Afterall, I get to be presented  in June to a bunch of doctors that will talk, and see what they can do to make my leg feel better! I am also I hoping NO  surgery.

Out of My Mind Book Blog by #Claudiaagent27

Out Of My Mind is a book we are reading in school. It is about a girl named Melody who has Cerebral Palsy and can't walk, talk, or even move. The only part of her body that works is her thumbs and her brain. She is the smartest kid in her school but because she has CP nobody knows that she is smart. Melody has just gotten a new computer with every word in it that can talk so now Melody is able to talk with Elvira she calls it. I am so excited to keep reading this book. I highly recommend it. My Maps by #Jacobagent23

My maps is something new that has been added in Google. What you can do is you can place a marker anywhere you want and add a photo and a description (note). In class, Ms.Freedman made a map for ghost towns. Ms.Freedman created a big map and called it ghost towns. It is pretty awesome because Ms.Freedman added the entire class, and we had to add our ghost towns and write down our facts that we have. You can add directions of places you want to go. Spring and Summer by #Hannahagent19

Spring and Summer are my two favorite seasons. I love the hot summer sun with the cool breeze in the air. Summer is a perfect time to go swimming and play in the sprinklers. Spring usually begins on March 20th and ends on June 19th. In spring, there are many flowers and lots of pollen. It's mostly in spring and summer when people's allergies start acting up. Summer begins on June 21st or the 20 like last year. Every year the date changes and sometimes it could be five days after the date last year, so you really never know. Some people say that they like cold weather better because you can always put stuff on but you can’t always take stuff off. That I can understand but in my opinion, I like the warmer weather better like 76 degrees or 80 degrees with a nice breeze in the air to cool you down. Every year I go down to Sebago Lake Maine with my family, and we play in the steaming hot sun. We normally go in the first week of August, and sometimes we stay two weeks. Last summer my dad won a trip to go to Atlantis Bahamas on June 24th. Spring is a good time of year to clean out your house and get rid of old clothes that no longer fit or aren’t appropriate for the weather change. I’m really looking forward to the rest of Spring, and Summer to begin, relax have fun and no homework.

Summer everyone loves it. It’s when the sun is out, and school is just a distant memory. You can’t get enough of the warm weather. You go on vacations, to beaches, amusement parks and a lot of other places.

Summer means to me new beginnings and endings. You end a school year, but just around the corner is another. Having Ice cream and popsicles can help you beat the heat. Swimming in the oceans or pools is a fun thing to do in summer. Summer is warm and sunny most days. Others it can be rainy. The Summer Solstice is the first day of summer, and the longest day of the year. I love spending time with my family in summer. You don’t have to worry about tests or homework. You can just be a kid. Summer starts Monday June 20th. Are you ready to have fun?

Plastic is everywhere. It is used for a lot of things such as toys and the the iphone 6. Plastic can sometimes be dangerous.  It can be dangerous because water bottles are made of plastic. When you leave your water bottle in a sunny spot the plastic will melt into the water. When you drink the water the water will taste weird. It is also dangerous because when people litter plastic like plastic bags can hurt the animals. Plastic can also be useful. It is useful for mechanical pencils, toys, a fire fighters helmet, and bottles. “It can be hard and used to make things such as castings for televisions sets, garden pots, and even furniture.”

Flash is a show about a teenager that gets zapped by lightning and gets superspeed. He has to defeat other metahumans (other humans with superpowers) which is hard since they all have unique and evil powers. He has help, but only by three people that are behind the scenes at S.T.A.R. Labs. His name is Barry Allen, and is in love with a girl he grew up with. I love this series because it is a good mix of action, drama, and fantasy. I love this series and recommend you watch it. There is also a comic so if you can’t watch the Flash, you can read it. If you do watch it, I am sure you will love it.

Slither.io by #minuagent21

Slither.io is a online multiplayer snake computer game. The objective is to get big and get into first place. To get big you need to eat tiny pieces of mass and consume other snakes. To consume other snakes you get in their path so they bump into you. When they bump into you they turn into big pieces of mass. The bigger the snake the more the mass. But you have to be careful because other snakes can steal mass that is lying around. To move, you use your mouse. You can use a speed boost by holding down left click. You can’t get big by standing around, so you need to have a strategy to win. One strategy is to coil around another snake so that they can’t escape. They’ll end up having to bump into you. I think the game is great but frustrating at times.

Top Five Favorite Dog Breeds

     This week I did my blog on my top five favorite dog breeds. I really like dogs, so this was hard!
    My fifth favorite dog is a Pug. I like Pugs because they are very cute, and cuddly. I also like how their skin looks. I think it looks so amazing. But what I like the most is its face. It’s so cute! I just want to hug it.

    My fourth favorite dog is a Bulldog. I really enjoy seeing Bulldog’s because they are super adorable. I don’t like it when a Bulldog growls at me because it is scary, but I still think that they are cute.

    My third favorite dog is a Golden Retriever. Golden retrievers are one of my favorites because they are very calm, and I love the color their fur. I think it looks like golden vanilla ice cream.

    My second favorite dog is a Pomeranian. I like Pomeranian’s because they are super adorable. The size of the dog is also great because it is a small dog so it won’t be as overwhelming to older people who aren’t fond of large animals, and also it overwhelm kids that are afraid of dogs.

    My all time favorite dog is a Chow Chow. I absolutely love Chow Chow’s because they look exactly like a big, fat, fluffy panda! I also know that Chow’s are actually very aloof and friendly around people and other dogs, so if you own or are thinking about buying a Chow don’t worry they are one of the best dogs ever in my opinion.

Technology: Why It’s Good And Bad by #claudiaagent27

This week I decided to do my blog on how technology is good and bad. Why it’s good, technology is great for finding information, doing projects, communicating with friends, and so much more. Unfortunately technology can be bad as well. Sadly a lot of people spend most of their time on computers, phones, watching T.V, etc. People need to go outside and be more active instead of spending all their time inside on technology. You should try to go outside at least once a week for a good amount of time. Try to go outside or hang out with friends more and limit your time on technology.

WINTER AND SPRING THEIR DIFFERENCES by #agent9

We all remember when winter was here. The season that makes you want to stay inside forever. We can’t forget the snow. Even though we didn’t get a lot of snow this year it doesn’t cover the fact that we still had to do a lot a shoveling. But there are some benefits from winter. What are they you might ask? For starters there's not having to go to work or school if it snows really badly.The other benefit is getting to spend more time with your family.  

Spring is a total different story one thing is for sure. No matter the weather in spring we still have to go to school. The great news is that  in spring the average temperature is 48 up to at least 80. That means it’s great for going by the pool or beach.

My week with #Jeevanagent15 and his Family By the Blue Bunny

I had a very fun time staying at Jeevan’s house and going to his activities.

On Saturday, I went to see Jeevan’s soccer game. At halftime, the score was 2-0 Mansfield. By the end of the game, they had won! It was their first victory, and I really enjoyed watching their game.

On Sunday, I watched Jeevan and his dad start to make a homemade hovercraft. For me, it was boring watching them because they were only making circles, and then cutting them out, but they seemed really excited to finally start to making the hovercraft. They named it Charles.

On Monday, I didn't do anything because Jeevan was at Champs.

Jeevan had a piano lesson on Tuesday, so I decided to tag along. He is playing two pieces, but he focused on one of them.

I watched Jeevan have his guitar lesson on Wednesday. I enjoyed listening to him and his guitar teacher play.

After Jeevan came home on Thursday, we went to Flint Farm because it was 80°F! He a got toll house ice cream, and I may or may have not had a lick. It was delicious!

I really enjoyed staying with Jeevan and his family!

Captiva Island by #jackagent13

Captiva Island is an island of the southwest coast of Florida, about an hour and a half away from Fort Myers. It is the smaller sister island to Sanibel Island. Where I stayed, we were so close to everything, that we could walk to a lot of things near us. It was about a five minute walk to a couple restaurants. The house we stayed in was also very close to the beach. On Captiva, there are all sorts of really good restaurants with crazy names and great food. One place was even covered in $1 bills! My two favorite restaurants were “The Island Cow”, which had a long wait, but really good gumbo, and “The Green Flash”, which had really good steak. While I was there, I also went jet skiing, and it was so much fun! It was my second time jet skiing, and I think the only part I didn’t like about it was all the salt water splashing up. If you ever are looking for someplace to vacation, I would recommend Captiva Island!

Niagara Falls by #maelynagent22

    This is my first time blogging, and I started to wonder about Niagara Falls. I decided to take a look and research it.

    Did you know Niagara Falls is made up of three waterfalls? Niagara Falls was made from a glacier about 1000 years ago! These were just a few of the really interesting facts, but there is still way more to learn.

    Niagara Falls drains water from Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. Some scientists believe that Niagara Falls will be gone in about 50000 years from now. Can you believe that some people have tried to go over Niagara Falls, most died after the attempt? 30 million people visit the Niagara Falls every year. Niagara Falls is the OLDEST state park in the US (1885).

The Kentucky Derby by #Katieagent18

May 7th, 2016 is a day that mostly everyone had been waiting for, a day that was about to come true to see what horse won the Kentucky Derby! My family always does a party, and we wear spectacular hats. We vote to see whose hat is better, and the hat that won was a hat that had sparkler and lights on it. Then the Kentucky Derby was beginning, it was time to see the horse that won. The Kentucky Derby went off at 6:46 pm. The  announcer for the Kentucky Derby said,“And they're off!” Everyone always gets excited when the announcer said that. At the end of the race it started to get crazy, and the horse that won was Nyquist. Finally after all the excitement and craziness my family served food and drinks. This is how my family does the Kentucky. How do you do a Kentucky Derby party?

My Summer in Maine by #Hannahagent19

Every year during the month of August my family and I go down to Maine. We go down to Sebago Lake. My dad is one of five siblings all boys. We go with two of his brothers or my uncles.  We share a great big cabin with Uncle Eric, Uncle Kurt and all their family. No one is my age, but that's ok they all hang out with me anyway. My Uncle Eric has three kids: Brady, Brianna and Brian. Brianna and Brian are in college, and Brady is my brother’s age in 6th grade. My Uncle Kurt has two kids that are both in college, Amanda and Alex. They are incredible swimmers, and they are both lifeguards. Amanda won a  State championship that made thousands of schools want her. It was hard to make the decision but, she ended up with Regis. Up in Maine we do many things such as tubing, water skiing, jumping of Frye's leap and so much more. My dad is the most amazing boat driver when it comes to tubing. He goes fast on big waves and whips us around. Once the tube flipped over and everyone fell off but, I was the only one left hanging on. We also jump off Frye's leap, which is very tall rocks that you climb up and jump off. I have never gone water skiing in my whole life until last year and, I nearly got up on my second try. I had a blast doing and, I am excited to do it again in Maine this year. Also we go to a place called Frye Island where you can eat and get ice cream. There is also a toy store right next to everything. When it gets darker we all go outside to the fire pit and light a fire where we all eat s'mores and tell stories. We sometimes also put something in the fire that makes the fire turn different colors. That to me is awesome. I can’t wait to go to Maine this year and do all these cool things with my family.
