I’ve decided to do a blog about the Boston Bruins because they are having a record breaking season. A record they broke a week ago was the most points ever recorded. When you win a game you get two points and when you lose a game then you get zero points. They hold that record with 135 points. The Boston Bruins also have the record for the most regular season wins at 65 wins and only 12 losses. That is pretty impressive considering they just got a new coach this season. The Boston Bruins have scored 305 goals against all of their opponents together. They also have the least amount of goals that have been let up this season. Their record for their last 10 games is 9 wins and 1 loss. They have a 8 game win streak. They also have 128 goal differential and if you don't know what goal differential is it's how many more goals you score against your opponents. The boston bruins are in 1st place and they won the presidents cup. The presidents cup is an award that isn’t just for hockey but for some other sports too. The presidents cup is awarded to the best team in the NHL for the regular season.

The day after my tournament by #Agent14
So I told you guys/girls about my soccer tournament we won. So now it is a tie between Legacy FC (my team) and The Best FC. So they are our competition playing them next. But before we play them we have to take a pause and go to my hotel because my game is not until the next day and sleeping in the car is not ideal. When I got to the hotel I noticed that some of my soccer team was in the pool there. So I jumped in the pool with them. After swimming around for around thirty minutes I went into my hotel. Then almost instantly went to my friend’s hotel and chilled there for a long time. But then my parents called me back to the hotel because we were going to Dave and Busters for some after game fun. The funniest part was when my friends on my team and I went to get food at Chipotle. But they did not have tortillas. So they couldn’t make tacos. So then we tried to go to a pizza place. They had no bread. We ended up going to Taco Bell, so that was the end of my day. Come back next time to hear about my deciding game next weekend.
My near fatal experiences by #Agent9
When I was two I was playing near the street, and I walked out near the road. I almost got hit by a garbage truck, but my dad pulled me out of the street at the perfect time.
When I was three I was sitting on my bedroom floor licking pennies, and I saw my sister’s bee earring. So I picked it up and started licking it and then it fell and slid down my small throat. My brother saw this, so he went to go get my grandmother from the other room. When my grandmother came into my room I was turning blue, and I was coughing like crazy. So she called the ambulance, and I got rushed to the E.R and when I got there I stopped choking. The erring went down, and a couple days later I pooped it out. I was saved. If my brother wasn't there I wouldn't be here today.
When I was six my family and I were hanging out on Thanksgiving, and I was in my room drinking juice with my sister. I called her goofy, and then she walked over to me. she flipped the chair I was sitting on, spilling my juice and getting me so close to falling out my window the screen came off. But then she said sorry and got me a new cup of juice but I still cried because she spilled my juice. And those are all three ways that almost ended fatally.
My Friends' sister's party! by #Agent21
Welcome to my new blog! This week I am going to be talking about my friend's sister's sweet 16 birthday party I was invited to. So, my friend invited me to her older sister's sweet 16 birthday party. The party was held at a new hotel. They had a special function room. When we got there the place was very beautiful, decorated in flowers and had a DJ called DJ O. It was really fun. We had this fashion show and a dance circle. At the fashion show we modeled one of a kind Nigerian fabric dresses that can not be re-made. I got to meet some of my friend's family who had come to visit, and they were all really nice. One of the Nigerian foods that I really loved was Nigerian Puff-Puff, which is basically a sweet deep fried dough. And they also had corn dogs! A few of my friends and I were invited, so we danced most of the night. I did not get home until 11:00 at night! Whenever someone opened the door people at the hotel kept looking very confused. I was very tired at the end of the night but got to sleep in the next day, which I needed. This has been my blog and I can't wait to share new things.
My Trip to Philadelphia (Part 1 of 2) by #Agent20
In February 2023, I went to New Jersey for my sister’s cheerleading event, and while I was there, my dad, my friend, and my friend’s dad, and I went to Philadelphia for a day. Today I will be telling you what we did there:
The Mint
To start off the trip we went to the U.S. Mint! The Mint is where the United States makes all of their coins, and there are many around the country. While I was at the Mint, I saw some old coins, as well as the eagle that inspired the designing of the United States Seal! I also saw the factory where they make the coins, and interactive coin designing computers. Then, on our way out, I got some uncirculated (brand new) 2023 United States coins! All together it was an amazing experience because of the crazy amount of information I learned. For example, I never knew that the Declaration of Independence was signed in the building. I thought that all they did was debate on the matter. Another example of something I learned was that the Constitution was signed in the same place as the Declaration of Independence! Before I went to Philadelphia, I thought they were signed in totally different areas. Though, the next activity was one of my favorites!
Lunch!
For lunch we went to this gigantic food court with several restaurants! I got this incredible pizza with a super fluffy crust. My dad got a cheese steak. My friend got the same impressively fluffy crusted pizza that I got, and my friend’s dad got tacos. It was, according to the man at the restaurant, the best pizza I would ever have! The reason this pizza was so good in my opinion was the crust. It was so fluffy and crunchy at the same time! Just writing about it makes me want to go back and have it again.
Independence Hall
After that life-changing experience at lunch, we set off to Independence Hall, which, if you didn’t know, held multiple meetings for the Second Continental Congress. It was very exciting to me because we are currently learning about it in social studies class. Hearing about all this history in the exact place that it happened didn’t even feel real! The tour guide was talking about how George Washington sat in the very room I was in, whilst talking about American Independence! I was in the same room as George Washington, only a few hundred years apart! Though the one thing that made me FREAK OUT was when the guide told us that the Declaration of Independence AND the Constitution were signed there! In the ranking of my favorite places, this was a close second to the pizza of course. I hope to see you in my next blog, where I talk about the second half of my epic Philadelphia journey. Thanks for reading!

First Day of School, and Second Day of School (This isn't a real story. It is made up) by #Agent1
It was finally time to go back to school. I hated that place. It was so crazy that one time when I was in the cafeteria THERE WAS A FOOD FIGHT. When I came home my mom grounded me because I was wearing my new clothes that were $100. She made me go to my room, so I did. It wasn't too long until I begged her to let me go outside, and she got annoyed. So I ended up getting to go outside AFTER I did my chores, and I had so many chores to do. But after I was done with all my chores I got to play outside, and we played man hunt in the woods.
Everyone might be asking what Manhunt is? Well Manhunt is a game that you play in the dark outside. There is one tagger and at least 6 other people who are runners. The tagger has to put his/her/their hand on them and say 1…2…3 MANHUNT. Then after the tagger does that, the person who got tagged becomes a tagger until there is only one person left. After all that fun I went inside because I was exhausted. So I took a shower and got ready for bed.
1 day later
I woke up and looked at the time, AND I WAS LATE FOR SCHOOL. So I got ready as fast as I could, then ran to school. I knew that it wouldn't be a good impression being late on the SECOND day of school. I asked people if they could drop me off at my school, but they all ignored me. So I ended up all sweaty by the time I got to school. My teacher asked: "why are you so sweaty?" "I had to run to school because I woke up late." I'm sorry it won't happen again."Ok but now it's time for lunch."
"LUNCH I JUST GOT HERE."
"Yea but it's already 11:00 o'clock," said the teacher.
"Ok then I'm going to go eat."
"Ok,"said the teacher.
I knew the second I walked into that cafeteria something was wrong, but I didn't really pay attention to it. BUT after I got my lunch I GOT SPLASHED WITH ALL SORTS OF FOOD BECAUSE EVERYONE WAS WAITING FOR ME TO THROW FOOD AT ME. I got mad, so I cut school early. When I came home I just went upstairs and played games for the rest of the day. Then by the time I got hungry it was 11:00 PM, so I just went to bed.
Why a pet rock is the best pet by #Agent13
I think a pet rock is the best pet. The first reason is you don't have to give it food. I think that's amazing because then you don't have to do anything. You just have to sit back and relax with your pet rock. Another reason pet rocks are so amazing is because you can decorate them anyway you want. You can give it hair, glasses, eyeballs, and hats if you really want. The little rock comes in a pet rock container, and when you open the container you see the rock . On the side there are instructions and things you can put on the rock. You also don't have to take them out for walks because they dont walk. I find that amazing!
Another reason a pet rock is so amazing is because they can go anywhere with you all the time. Sometimes you can't take a real life animal, but you can take a rock. I think that pet rocks are super cute because they have so many cute features. They are just a little rock and some decorations on them are so amazing! My last reason why pet rocks are so amazing is because they are always there, and they look so funny on tables and desks. Last but not least they are amazing because you can hold them and put the rock on anything. I love pet rocks. I hope you do too!
Spread kindness! by #Agent4
I think people should be kind and not rude because it never does any good. When older kids start to turn into adults, they will most likely still be kind and if they have kids and tell them what they should do and how they should act, then they will be kind too! It never hurts to be a little nice and after you say something kind to someone, you would probably feel good about yourself. I know I would! Also, kids should never have to know what it feels like to be bullied. That is why we have little assemblies about bullying. We just had one and I really hope that no one in our school bullies or gets bullied because it wouldn’t do anything good for us except rudeness and sadness. I know I would never want to be bullied, and if I ever saw one of my friends get bullied, I would definitely stick up for them like any good friend would do. Another reason why kindness is important is because without it, our world would just be one big fight and I’m sure no one would want that! I know I would definitely not want that! Anyways, those are some reasons why kindness matters!
My favorite and least favorite animal(s) by #Agent8
My favorite animal is either a dog or hamster because they are adorable. I have a pet dog but sadly no hamster. If I were to name a hamster I would name it Hammy because I have no clue if the hamster would be a boy or a girl. So I picked that one. If I could name a dog I would name a boy Fredrick and girl Sally because I like the name Fredrick, and Sally is a random name that popped up in my head.
Now my least favorites animals. I do not like coyotes because they are wild animals. I also do not like tarantulas because they are spiders, and I do not like spiders. I also think that tarantulas are poisonous or something like that. I do not like poisonous animals. I do not like coyotes because they could be vicious out in the wild,, and they could hurt you out in the wild if you see them.
Those are my favorite and least favorite animals. What are yours, why are they your favorite? Do you want any of your favorite animals? What would you name them? Where do your least favorite animals live and why are they your least favorite?
My Florida Soccer Tournament by #Agent2
I went to a soccer tournament in Florida for my NEFC, RDP team! I had to try out for the team. We had a tournament in New Hampshire already and lost in the finals. We are playing a team from Honduras and other teams from Florida.
When I woke up in the morning, my mom said our flight got canceled! I was so angry that I just wanted to call Jetblue and yell at them! Luckily, we got another flight that had a layover in Washington, D.C. (DCA). When we got to the airport, we had a bunch of problems checking our bags but still had plenty of time before our flight. When we flew into DCA, I saw the Washington Monument and the Capitol building from the plane! The flight to Orlando Airport (MCO) from DCA was just under two hours. When we got to MCO, I saw the palm trees! I was so excited! They had just built a new terminal, and it was beautiful! When I first stepped outside, I could already feel the sun beating down on my skin! I got to choose the rental car, so I picked a Ford Explorer! We went straight to a Mexican dinner place from the hotel. Since it was my birthday, the place sang to me! It was a very enjoyable dinner!
When I got up in the morning, I went to the pool to relax and swim. I had my first soccer game at 1:30. Our coach told us to get there at 12:45, but he didn't get there until 1:00! We were playing a team from Honduras that spoke Spanish! It was a close game until they got a free kick that was from about 45 yards away! Our goalie is short, so he couldn't save the kick. We went down one-zero. Next, we had a corner kick, so I went into the 18-yard box to try and finish a goal, but their goalie saved it. All of a sudden, they were on the counter attack! I was trying to take down their attacker, but I committed a foul and the ref gave me a yellow card! Everyone agreed that it shouldn’t have been a yellow card. After that, we couldn’t muster another goal to tie the game. We lost 1-0. After the game, my mom took me to an ice cream place, called Jr. Tropical Ice Cream. I got chocolate brownie and cookie dough!
My dad came the next day to see my second and third games. Our second game was a really tough one. We let them score on a breakaway and an unlucky clearance goal. We could have won if we played better. Our third game was a really good match. The score was 0-0 with five minutes left, and we had a free kick. I stepped up and took it. As soon as I hit it, I knew it was a good one! It looked like a perfect cross from where I was, but my teammate totally missed the ball! “Nooooo!!!” I yelled. We tied the game 0-0.
At the end of three games, we made the consolation semifinals. We were playing against the Cayman Islands. They were wearing yellow jerseys, so we had to switch to red jerseys. At the beginning of the game, I noticed that the ref was horrible! At halftime, it was 0-0. In the second half, the other team totally flipped the game on its head! They scored 3 goals in 13 minutes! We couldn’t get a goal, and they scored one more to make the final score 4-0. It was a tough, but fun tournament!
The next day, I hung out by the pool and chilled. Our flight home was at 4:30 PM. We packed up and hopped on a plane to TF Green State Airport (PVD). The flight home was nice and relaxing. It was a super fun trip!

My Friday movie night by #Agent16
I had a movie night with some of my classmates on 3/31/23. What I had during movie night was sushi and my Mountain Dew. The movie that I watched was The Mitchells vs. the Machines. At the beginning of the movie, the family had a good time until the robots started to conquer the world. The phone has started to turn the robots evil. The Mitchell family had an older sister and a younger brother. The sister was going to college, but in the middle of the movie her future didn’t come true. In the end, her future was true because all of the robots were defeated by the phone. The funniest part of the movie is that the dad has a big reaction to typing on a computer. The best part of the movie is that the mom was raging at the robots, and she was whipping them with her bag and had crazy emotions. And I thought the movie was my favorite one to watch.
The Long Weekend Trouble by #Agent10
As lots of you know, lots of schools did not have school last Friday, so that was good because I had a tournament for soccer over the weekend starting that Friday night. After school I had a couple hours to pass. I just watched some shows and movies. After that I got ready for my first game. Then my mom, dad, and I hopped into the car and we were off. When we got there I realized I forgot my shorts, which I needed. So I ran to my car and told my mom to go get them, and I started to get worried. After some time the game started, and I saw my mom running over with a blanket and my shorts. So she wrapped that around me, and I changed on the side lines. Anyway, we won the game.
I went back home, went to sleep, and woke up for a new day. We were into the next game of the tournament and began to play. After a little while we started to realize that they were a really good team, and we lost. So I knew that we could not win the tournament because we had to win that game to get to the finals, but we didn’t. I had to leave very quickly and went to my first town game, which we won! And went back to my last game for the tournament, which we lost. After all that I took a long nap in the car on our way home.
Student Led Conferences PART TWO by #Agent17
Since last time I told you how I made my Fall conference, I’ll be telling you how I made my Spring conference.
For my Spring conference, I used a Google Site. My teacher told us that we were going to be making a site all about us. There were 6 different types of pages. Those include Home, Metacognition, My Fall Conference Digital Portfolio, Things I Learned, Areas I Can Grow, and Things I Am Proud Of. Here are the things I had to do for each page, starting with the Home page.
The Home page needs you to do 5 things. It needs you to introduce your audience to who you are. You just need to add your name. The second thing for your welcome page you need to do is share some fun facts about yourself. It could be your favorite food, sport, subject, or anything that has to do with you. The third tep is to include your likes and dislikes. You can name 3 things you like and 3 things you dislike. The 4th step is to tell the audience what they’re going to see. If you don’t know, you would tell them what you are going to be going over at the conference. The final step is to add images to your page anywhere you want it to be.
The next page is Metacognition. The first thing you have to do is explain to your audience what Metacognition is. Metacognition is when you think about your thinking, so I wrote that there. Now there were a few questions that I had to answer. They were about school and how I feel about it. I wrote down the question and answered it. My teacher told me to copy and paste the questions in. Then, you finished the page.
The 3rd page is pretty short. You put in your Digital Fall Conference, the one I talked about before, on the site to show them, but not open it.
The 4th page is Things I Learned. For Things I’ve Learned, I have to add some things I have learned from school so far. You also have to add evidence to everything you’ve learned.
The 5th page is Areas I Can Grow. That means you have to put down things that you need to work on. It can be about how you need to follow directions or getting better at something. You add evidence to them as well.
The 6th page, also known as the last one, is Things I Am Proud Of. Just like the 4th and 5th page, you put down things that you have done and are proud of in school. Then, you’ve finished making your site.
That is how I made my Google Site. I had never actually made a site that was shared with my parents. In my opinion it was fun to make. In all, I think that my Fall and Spring conferences were fun.

Justin and the Knight Part 5 by #Agent7
“Put him down!” I yelled.
“Yeah, put him down!” Jaquavis repeated.
“Haha, you guys think you're so tough,” the knight said.
“Wait, you can talk?” Jaquavis asked.
“You guys think I can’t talk? Well that’s just insulting to me,” the knight answered.
“No no! We aren’t saying it like that, we just thought you couldn’t talk,” I told him.
“Wow, I hadn’t had somebody say something that kind to me,” he said. I smiled.
“But that still doesn't change the fact that I have your friend here.”
“Help me!” Manny hollered.
“Take that, you meanie!” Jaquavis said, as he threw a bike at his foot.
“You really think that would hurt me?” The knight started laughing hysterically. Jaquavis’s face started to turn red.
“What am I waiting for? Say goodbye to your little friend,”the knight grinned.
“Manny, no!” But it was too late. The Knight had chucked Manny deep into the forest.
“Have fun finding your little friend! Hahahaha,” the Knight said, stomping off into the city.
It had been three days since the Knight chucked Manny into the forest.
“I’m going over to Jaquavis’s house,” I told my mom.
“Okay,” she answered back. I rang the doorbell, and Jaquavis answered it.
“Wanna go for a walk?” I asked.
“Why not,” he replied. We walked down to the center of Springfield. The town is still in a mess of flipped over cars and knocked down power lines.
“Jeez!” I said.
“This place is a mess,” Jaquavis said. Then, I heard something in the distance. I started to get closer to the noise.
“Hey, where are you going?” Jaquavis asked.
“Just follow me,” I told him. He started to follow me. The noise got louder and louder until we stopped at the woods.
“Must’ve been a coyote,” Jaquavis said.
“Let’s go back.”
“No wait! I hear it again.” I heard, “Yeehaw!” in the forest. Then, it got louder.
“YEEHAW!” We both glanced at each other, and we knew who it was.
“Could it be?” Jaquavis said.
“It’s Manny!”
Star Wars Night Hockey Game by #Agent11
My dad, friend, and I went to a Star Wars night hockey game and here is what happened. On our way there we stopped at Chick-Fil-A for dinner. Then when we got to the parking garage we walked to the rink. Once we got there we immediately saw Star Wars characters that we took pictures with like Princess Leia, a Jedi, and a Sith Lord. Then we saw Darth Vader and two Stormtroopers. Once we got to our seats the warm ups for the hockey players started. My friend and I ran down to the glass to see if they would throw us a puck. Well, a hockey player first threw me one. Then another one threw my friend one. When we got back to our seats the game started. Sadly the opposing team was the only team to score that period. When the first period break started we walked up to a raffle for a Matt Grylelyck Jersey, and we got a raffle ticket. Then when we got back, our home team was losing 2-1. Each team scored one point in that period, but we were still losing the game. My dad noticed that they would play a Dark side Star Wars song when the opposing team scored and a Light side song when our team scored. During the second period break we waited in a long line for a pretzel. Then the third period started. In the end our team lost. When we got back home we realized that our raffle ticket was the winning ticket, and we won a signed Matt Gryzileck Jersey. That was my experience at a Star Wars night hockey game. I hope I get to go back next year. That would be very fun!
The Red Sox game by #Agent15
When my mom said do you want to go to the Red Sox game I said yes, jumping in excitement! Then my mom said there were two other tickets and my friend, and his mom were going too. I was even more excited. The Red Sox game was on Wednesday. On Wednesday I got dismissed to go to the Red Sox game. Next when I got dismissed we drove to Fenway Park with my friend and his mom. We couldn't find a parking spot, but luckily we found one. We walked to the stadium, and I was really cold because I didn't have a jacket. I did have gloves. The weather was 42 degrees. When we got to the stadium we tried to find our seats. It was easy to find them because it was in the front row of third base! There was a guy who took us to our seats. The view was amazing. There was a TV right in front of us. When the game started the Red Sox were pitching first in the first inning and our pitcher threw a homerun to make the score 0-1. We were batting next, but we didn't score at all. I also got two foul balls from the ball girl! My thoughts about this experience was that it was really amazing to be in the front row seats. I thought it was fascinating to have a barcode to order food. I hope to never forget when I got a foul ball during the game!

My DQ on Harry Houdini by #Agent5
Once again I have done another DQ but I haven’t presented it yet, but I will be presenting it on Thursday.
First I am going to be talking about some facts about Harry Houdini, and those facts are Harry Houdini was born on March 24, 1874 in Budapest, Hungary and died on Halloween in 1926. Also he always said his birthday was April 6 but is actually March 24 because his mom told him it was April 6. His mother’s name was Cecilia, and his father’s name is Mayer Samuel. Sometimes he even said he was born in America, depending on which reporter he was talking to. Then I talked about his childhood and how his parents had changed their names to be more American. After I talked about his childhood I showed a video about his life as an escape artist. Once the video is over I am going to be showing a magic trick and will need seven volunteers to complete the trick. The trick will take about three minutes and twenty-seven seconds to complete it and the only reason I know that is because I had timed it several times. The reason I chose this topic is because I like learning how to do really cool illusions and impress my audience. After hearing about my DQ about Harry Houdini and magic I encourage you to try and learn some magic tricks from youtube just like I did.
My Cut By #Agent19
Let me tell you about an unfortunate situation that happened to me last weekend. Did you ever get a cut before? Well I got a really bad one. On Friday I got dropped off by my school bus and was walking home. I saw my neighbor's dog named Rocky. I like Rocky a lot. But when I came to him, I petted him and he accidentally scratched my nose. I was bleeding really bad. But luckily Emma, Rocky’s owner, saw me crying really bad. Emma took me home, and my Mom was really scared when she saw me like that. My Mom gave me napkins to get the blood off. A little while later my Mom took me to the hospital. My nose was still bleeding at that time. They put in one stitch and to make it worse they put medicine up my nose. That was really bad. I don’t know why they did it, but I guess it was working. It took forever!! Like 8 hours! Emma did check on me and said she was really sorry for what had happened.
