Episode 14 Pumpkin vs Ellie The Final Countdown by #agent6

Ellie is sitting down counting her $100 bills as Pumpkin approaches her with a black ski mask. He tries to steal the money, but Ellie revolts. Pumpkin takes off his ski mask, and Ellie says, “It's you??”

“Yes it's me,” says Pumpkin.  As he is saying that he charges forward, but Ellie dodges him as he bangs into a brick wall. He kicks his foot off the brick wall and spears Ellie to the  ground. Ellie throws him off of her and jumps on top of him. Pumpkin slips through and does a somersault. He was about to charge into Ellie, but then he sees a squirrel and chases it away to another galaxy. This is how I imagine my cats play if they were outside while I am at school.

Koda’s Diaries #14 by #agent3

Koda here! It has started to be light out very late, which means more barking time and patrolling our backyard. We had a cookout. We had new visitors that I have never seen. I did my job of sniffing and barking. Maura gave me a lot of hotdogs, and I got to rescue all of the dropped food. The baby pool in the backyard leaked, so there was a lot of  mud! I rolled around in it. I got mud all over me though. The babies were also jumping in the muddy puddles. Then everyone had to give me a bath. After we all got washed off the babies went into the big top part of the slides and swings play area. I couldn't get up there, so I was angry! I was barking at them! This was fantastic though. I think summer is going to be awesome and fun! I also have good news! The squirrel wants to be my friend, and we are going to play tag everyday! He told me his name is squiggly! Also, Maura and the other girls won’t have school soon so they can play with me all day! I also heard some news that this is my last Koda diary. That is ok though because I hope I will see you soon. It's never goodbye, it is woof you later! Bye for now!

My Favorite Holiday by #agent22

Today I am going to be talking about my favorite holiday! My personal favorite holiday is Christmas! I feel like a lot of people like Christmas, and I can see why. One of the reasons I like Christmas is because I love decorating for the holiday. Another reason is because winter is my favorite season, and I especially love white Christmases. They are just so fun! Playing in the snow is one of my favorite things to do during the winter. My cousins from Maine usually come down to see my family during Christmas time, so I look forward to seeing them too. Also during Christmas I have an excuse to wear sweatpants and hoodies, that means I get to be comfy all day long! I love hot chocolate so much, and during Christmas time I have a hot chocolate bar in my dining room. My dog is a husky, so he loves the snow. In the winter it is so funny to see him play in the snow. One time he kept on going to the only patch of snow left in my yard until it all melted. Then he was kind of sad until he got used to the warm weather! He can be so funny sometimes. Thank you for reading my blog. What is your favorite holiday?

My Favorite Things! by #agent19

This week for my last blog (sadly), I decided to talk about all of my favorite things! I thought that this would be a good thing to talk about for my last blog, so you could know more about me. I have a lot of different things that I like. And I am going to talk about most of them!

  1. My favorite foods: My favorite foods are macaroni and cheese or pasta with extra, extra, EXTRA, marinara sauce (and parmesan cheese, of course). My top favorite is probably mac and cheese because it is so cheesy and creamy at the same time!

  2. My favorite places to go: I love to go on vacation to Aruba and Disney. I love Aruba because it is a tropical place where you can swim a lot. Also the hotel we usually go to has an amazing water slide and an extraordinary pool with a swim up bar. I love Disney just because it is, well, Disney.

  3. My favorite sports: I play softball, dance, basketball, and field hockey. My two favorites are probably dance and softball. But I think dance is the #1. In softball I like to play first base and pitch (I like first base a little better). In dance I do five dance classes, and I think they are all fun!

  4. My favorite animal: My favorite animals are giraffes and dogs. I usually say that I like giraffes as my favorite, but I also like dogs. Giraffes are cute but also really funny! And dogs are SOOOOOOO cute and FLUFFY!

  5. Other things I like: I love to swim and feel all of the refreshing water. I also LOVE to hang out with my friends and do all different things with them! And I like going outside and doing activities (or just going outside in the fresh air). I like to ride bikes, play with my friends and neighbors, go swimming, walk my dog, and a LOT more!

Those are some of my favorite things. Thank you for reading my blogs all year long! :)

Culver Academies By #Agent12

This summer my brother and I are going to summer camp at Culver Academy. The summer camp has just about EVERYTHING!

It is located in Indiana, and it is also a private military school. There are so many fun things to do, and no matter what you like to do, there is going to be something there for you. There are things like sports, crafts races, marching, and lots more.

So, the camp first started off in 1912 by Daniel Carter Beard with help from his close friend Robert Baden-Powell. They made Culver because “They wanted to make a difference in the world.”  And it didn’t change the world, but it did have a huge impact on people's mindsets. That is confirmed by many people. In addition you get to make so many new friends and have so many new opportunities.

For the uniforms everyone wears the same thing. Females traditionally wear a light blue top, a dark blue skirt or shorts, white or black sneakers, and any hairstyle with some sort of white hair piece. After that there are things like a sash hat and other accessories.

For the males, they wear white shorts, dark blue tops, black or white sneakers, and a vest.

So now Culver is a military school/boarding school. and a fun summer camp. It also happens to be the place my dad went to highschool at.

If you would like to see more information on the wood craft camp I linked a video down below, and the video site is also my information source.

Thanks for reading!!

Soccer evaluations by #agent14

This Thursday I had soccer evaluations. The evaluation decides what team you are on: A team or B team.  When you get there, you pass and shoot while you wait for everyone to arrive. Once everyone arrives there you make a line so everyone can get a pinny. The pinny colors were blue, orange, yellow, pink, and white. Unfortunately for evaluations this year none of my teammates were on my team.

After you find your team, you go on the turf fields.  Since there are five teams, four teams  play while the other team plays goalie or just takes a break. Then you get assigned a team to play. Then you can decide what position you play. Halfway through the game offense and defense switch. The games last around fifteen minutes long. You usually only play two or three of the teams. After each game you get around a thirty second break. You don’t immediately get the results of the evaluation. You get the results while you're on summer vacation or around that time. The evaluation is not the only way to decide your team. Your coaches also give a season evaluation and a lot of other stuff factors into the decision.

My pool by #agent9

Our family hired a company to build our pool in the summer of 2021. The process was very slow. I have been waiting for my pool to be done since the pool started being built. Once it was done I wanted to jump right in, but first my dad and I had to bring a bottle full of some of the water to one of the pool companies' stores. The reason we had to do this was because they had to test the water to see what chemicals we had to put in. Once we had finished putting the chemicals in and waited a bit I was ready to swim.

I had one thing I forgot to mention before. I haven't swam in a while, not like two weeks, more like 10 months! That was why I was really, really excited to go swimming again. When I got in the pool with my sister it felt weird at first. Then I got used to swimming again. At first I kept to the shallow end. Then I got used to swimming again. I went to the deep end. I can’t wait for summer to come, so I can go swimming even more. I hope everyone reading this is going to have a good summer whatever you are doing.

The Rodeo by #agent1

For my last blog I wanted to do it on a rodeo that I went to a little while ago.

In the beginning the people I went to the rodeo with and I had to wait about an hour and a half because we wanted good parking and good seats. After a long wait the Barrel Racing began. This part was the part that I was most excited about. There is just something about the way that a horse could go close to a barrel but still be going fast fascinates me. While the horse is going so fast with the rider not falling off makes me wonder how long that person had to ride to be that good at it.

The next thing that happened was Bull Riding. In order to win, the person riding the bull has to stay on the bull for eight seconds and has to get a high score from the judges. I believe that Bull Riding would be hard because the bull is trying to get you off of it´s back, but you have to stay on the bulls back. With the bull being stronger than the rider, the bull would have an easy job of getting the rider to fall off its back.

For almost the entire time that I was there at the Rodeo it was just rotating back and forth between Barrel Racing and Bull Riding. After a while of this I was starting to get bored and was writing down this blog, but I had to stand for the National Anthem.

As far as I saw the only thing that only happened once without being repeated again and again along with the Barrel Racing and Bull Riding was Black Powder Shooting. Black Powder Shooting is where you shoot balloons while riding a horse with a Black Powder gun. The goal is to shoot all of the balloons with the gun while only going around them once. I could tell that the  Black Powder Shooting was scaring the horses because they did a little jump each time the gun was shot.

My thoughts about this rodeo was that there wasn't enough room for parking/seating and there were lots of people. Other than that I believe that it was a good rodeo. Thank you for reading my last blog! Have a good day/night!

The Hub City Town Cup by #agent23

This week I am playing in the Town Cup. It is a competitive tournament with many teams from around the state. I love this tournament because I can play hockey with my friends and those who are not on my club team. I also like how I can play against my friends on my club team because if I win then I will have bragging rights. I also like how the tournament is set up. There are two divisions with five teams in each division, so there are lots of different teams to try to beat. When the day is over though, it is just a tournament for kids to have fun and make new friends. One other thing is that I love how our team is invite only so we are always competitive. I feel pride wearing the green shirt and coming out onto the ice. As the tournament progresses you can knd of tell which teams are going to be the best. So far the Greater Cape team seems like the best team. They won the tournament last year and plan on doing it again. I just hope we can stop them and win it this time. GO Hornets!

What is Netflix? by #agent16

What is Netflix? Netflix is an app or could be a website that you can watch streaming content on. On Netflix you can watch so many different types of movies, shows, and even trailers. People around the U.S. and many other countries love watching Netflix because it has their favorite shows/movies on it.

A lot of people around the world, especially me, like to watch shows because there are mysteries, and you might like that show or movie that you will watch over and over again because you love it. Most people don’t like how in so many different types of shows you will be in the moment of watching it then it ends, and you have to wait maybe a couple months just to see what will happen. Some people love anime shows, which are like Naruto shows, and Naruto makes you use a LOT of memories because of how many exhilarating  moves and jutsu there are and who made them. Also there are probably over 700 characters, and people remember all of them (like my brother Michael). Another reason why people love watching Netflix is because you only have to pay $9.00 USD a month to watch their favorite shows/movies. My favorite movie is IT, and my favorite show is Thundermans or anime.

Field Day By #agent18

Field day is at the end of the school year. At field day all classes go outside and participate in fun activities or/and interesting challenges. For example, we may compete in races or obstacle challenges or classic games like tag or catch or hide and seek. Also we may do sports. There are so many different things to do at field day. What I most enjoy about field day is that we get slush or ice cream to cool everyone down in the hot weather. In third grade I did not have field day because of Covid 19. In fourth grade I also was not able to go to field day, so now I'm really excited for fifth grade field day. I wonder if they might do it differently or if it will be the same or old stuff and new stuff. I'm also excited for field day because it will be my first field day in my school. On field day we enjoy the lovely weather with our friends, and we make fun memories with each other about the school year before it ends. I was so happy when I heard they were still doing field day in middle school, but I wonder if they will do it like how my school does or will it be completely different. I also hope I can enjoy it as much as I enjoyed my last few field days. And I'm glad that we have field day at the end of the year, so we can have fun before sixth grade.

My Football Team by #agent15

My blog is on my football team, and I won the flag super bowl. So in the first round my team was not doing so well, and we were losing by I think 12 points. It was the second half and with a minute left. We started to pick it up, and we scored 3 touchdowns and were up by 19 points. But then they got another two touchdowns and the game was tight. It was a 5 point game. We were going to win. Then they got a great catch, and then my friend Eddy got him on the 1 yard line and we won. Then the team that we were playing was cocky, and they were being I would say mean. When we started the game we were losing by 8. Then we scored 8. It was tight like the first game, but then they got two safeties. Then we got 5 touchdowns and we had already won because the ref said that we mercy ruled them but we played the game through, and we ended up winning. The score was 56 to 12. We got a medal, and our coach got a big trophy. I felt pretty good with myself. After that my team rubbed it in there face after they were talking trash.

Fifth Grade by #agent21

I am in fifth grade, and the year is almost over. This blog is going to be about the amazing things I have done in fifth grade. In my class we do these things called discovery quest’s (DQ’s), and they are so much fun. First you come up with a topic to do it on and make a whole presentation about it. You have to do lots of research on the topic. Then you have to present the DQ to your class, and they get to learn about it. I have learned so much this year in different ways from other classrooms. In third and fourth grade I was supposed to learn a lot of stuff that I never got to learn about because of COVID. Everything that I should have learned then I got taught this year. I didn’t know learning could be so fun, but in my class we do so many activities, and you still learn during them. We don’t just learn math and science and things like that, we learn about life situations that we need to know about for when we get older. Fifth grade has probably been my favorite year in school. I am excited to go to sixth grade, but I’m really going to miss fifth grade. I hope you have loved a year of school as much as I love fifth grade.'

Four Square by #agent5

Have you ever played four square? Well if you haven’t you don’t know what you're missing out on. For this game you usually play on concrete. On the concrete you make a square that isn’t too small, but at the same time isn’t humongous. After you make that square, you make a plus sign inside that connects to all the sides. Try to make the plus sign in the middle so the boxes aren’t uneven. After you do this you should have four small squares inside the mediocre sized square. Now you write one, two, three, and four each inside their own squares in the corner closest to the middle. Now you should have something like this:

Now it’s time to talk about how to play. This game requires four to infinity players. That's right you can have any amount of players as long as it’s above four. You might not get that many turns though. The first four people each get into their own square. You then get a bouncy ball sized ball (make sure it bounces high so you don’t have to slam it), and the person in square four serves the ball by letting it bounce once and then hitting it underhanded to the person in square two, unless your doing snake eyes. You then continue doing it to random people until the ball hits one of the inner lines which makes the person who hit it last out, it bounces outside the box which also makes the person who hit it last out, or it bounces twice in your square that makes you out. There are other ways to get out, but that means you're using special game rules. Well these are the basic rules to four squares. Thank you theactivefamily.org for the picture. I hope I taught you something.

Buzz the bee’s adventures #Agent 7

Hi! Welcome back to our LAST EPISODE OF BUZZ THE BEE’S ADVENTURES! In this episode we are not really going to talk about anything. just going to wrap things up and close all the gaps we’ve made this year during these amazing adventures. Don’t worry I’ll keep it short. I have enjoyed taking you on these journeys with me like the Day in the Life of a Fifth Grader, the tv show called Baking Impossible, the book fair, the musical, the spring time wake up, and the introduction to Buzz the Bee’s adventures. These are all the adventures we have had. You might think that it’s not a lot of adventures, but trust me it’s a LOT. Now that the year is coming to an end, summer is arriving. Some more things are going to happen like field day, the 5th grade graduation, the last day of school, and the 4th of July. For summer vacation, some of you might go on vacation while others will stay home and have relatives come over to visit for the summer.  Others might have a birthday in the summer that’s coming up and others could play outside for fresh air or play video games or things in general. Like I said before I have enjoyed taking you on these awesome journeys and adventures and meeting new things. Thank you for reading my episodes! And good luck in middle school to everyone who is going next year! Bye!

Why I Love Tennis by #agent13

SWISH! There is nothing like the sound of the ball going over the net. I LOVE tennis for so many different reasons such as: learning different strokes, doing something different each play, and just being able to hit the ball back and forth with my friends and family!!! When you hit the tennis ball back and forth it is called a rally. I feel like playing this game called King Queen Of The Court can really help you improve on your skills because you play just like a regular match! If you are on the other side of the court, you are the King or Queen. Which means you play and try to defeat others. If you are playing the King or Queen you are trying to get them out. If you win that rally, you can go to the other side of the court, and now you are the King or Queen. There are a LOT of places you can go to start taking lessons. I go to Brown Billone Tennis and Swim Club! I love taking classes there, and I have made a lot of friends! At Brown Billone you start in a lower class and then move up once you get better. In tennis there are different balls to play with too. There are normal ones called yellow balls, green balls, and orange balls so you can start off easier. If you think you might like tennis, go for it! It might be your new favorite sport!

My opinion on soccer by #agent11

Soccer is one of my favorite sports. Here are a few reasons why:

  1. It is really fast. I love this sport because it is fast, and I love fast sports and hate slow ones like baseball. Also, if you play goalie like me you should get decent shots from the other team, and it is fun because you get to do stuff.

  2. It never gets boring. Soccer for me never gets boring because there is always action (except for halftime), and every position you get to touch the ball lots of times.

  3. The positions. I love the positions in soccer because no matter where you are you get lots of action. My favorite positions are goalie and striker. I like goalie because I like to jump around, and you do lots of that in the goalie position. I like striker because it is fun to score goals, and you get to run a decent amount and I like to run.

  4. Game time. I like the time of games because they are usually at around 1:00 pm, and that gives you time after to go do other things like swim or go to your friends house.

Those are the reasons why I like soccer!

MCAS by #agent8

I chose to do my blog about MCAS because it was the first thing that came to my mind, also because I just felt like doing this topic. MCAS stands for Massachusetts Comprehensive Assessment System. Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade you don’t have MCAS. You are supposed to start in 3rd grade, but we didn't because of Covid-19. Covid-19 was still around in 4th grade so we took one of math and one of ELA instead of two. In 5th grade we took two of math, two of ELA, and two of science and technology. At the end of the 5th grade science and technology we take a questionnaire about the last 30 days of school. In my opinion I don’t like MCAS at all. It is boring and kind of hard sometimes. My favorite is math because it’s just easy for me. It can sometimes be hard. My least favorite is ELA because of the essay things we have to write because I never know what to write on them. You have to read a bunch of books and passages and stuff, and I don’t like reading. ELA MCAS just makes me so frustrated and mad.

Not So Plain Planes By: #Agent20

When most people think of paper airplanes, they think of a piece of paper folded into a basic triangle. What I will be talking about in this blog is far from that. Last year I discovered a website that has printable patterns and instructions on how to turn them into realistic planes. The website is called 4dpaperairplane. 4-D paper airplanes are different from regular ones because they are models of real planes.

The website has many ways that you can view the different models:

  • What category of plane they are (wars, era, type of plane)

  • The stories behind them

  • By manufacturer or builder

  • And my favorite, by skill level, but more about that later

The website also has some pages with facts about planes, tips, and the most feared plane they have a model of.

Now back to the skill levels. There are 10 levels of difficulty. I just completed skill level two, and now I am on the second plane in level three. So far, I have made 8 planes, and I am working on my 9th. I finished the plane part, and since this is the first one with a stand, I just have to build the stand. It is very challenging, but not as bad as I expected. If you have a pair of scissors, glue, (maybe some tape), a printer and a lot of time and patience, you too can build a fleet of miniature paper planes. Have fun, and have a good flight!

The plane I am working on now- the Chengdu J-10A Vigorous Dragon.

My favorite plane I’ve made.

The first plane I made.

AAB and the Bees Part 2 by #agent4

Hi! And welcome back to the final post of AAB! It has been so fun writing these, and I hope you liked reading them! This week is part 2 on my dad’s bees! We last talked about the hive and how to care for it. When you get it, you start with one box because there are less bees then. Eventually, you can stack the hive boxes on one another to make room for the baby bees laid by the queen bee. Speaking of queen bees, once the queen is let out of the candy cage eaten by the worker bees, (who are all girls), she flies away to see the places around the hive. She comes back, but not all queens do. Then, might have to get another queen bee, or the bees could figure out the next queen. You can easily spot the queen bee anywhere because they always have a special marking on their backs, interesting, right?!

Seeing the bees come in and out of the hive is super fascinating. You might see the worker bees coming in with yellow spots on their hind legs. Those are called pollen sacks. That’s all the pollen they collected out on the flowers!

I hope you had fun reading this, and all the other AABs.

THANK YOU!

Audrey

The experience in Dr. Freedman’s class 2021/2022 by #agent17

When I first found out that I was having Dr. Freedman as a teacher I was a little nervous because my older brother had her. I knew she had high expectations of her class but was also a very good teacher that I thought would get me ready for sixth grade. At the beginning of the year I realized that there was a lot more work in fifth grade then there was in fourth grade, but Dr.Freedman was always there if I got stuck on my work or I needed help on it.

Some of my favorite things in Dr. Freeman's class are the privileges that she gives us. Some of those are: chewing gum, going to the bathroom whenever we need to, sitting wherever we feel best, taking breaks, and eating snacks whenever we want. Another of my favorite things is DQ’s. Qq’s are where you pick a topic, and you research it. After you're done with that you get assigned a date, and you present the DQ in front of the class. One of the reasons I really like DQ’s is because it helps you with presentation skills for when you are older, and it makes you get more confident about speaking in front of people.

There are a few things that I will miss in Dr .Freedman’s class like: her teaching style, my friends, the privileges we get, the bathroom in the class, the door that leads right outside, and Dr.Freedman.

There are a few things that Dr. Freedman taught me throughout this year. She taught me how to speak up in front of a class because when I did my first ever presentation in front of the class I was very nervous. But when I did my last one I felt so much more confident in myself because she taught me how to share my voice in front of a class. One more thing she taught me how to do is to apologize. We did a big lesson in the morning meeting about apologizing.

Thank you for a great year Dr. Freedman!

Bike Riding #agent10

A few weeks ago I went to my friend’s house to bike ride. We got on our bikes and left the house. We went up one block then came back. My friend wanted to go up further. Her parents said we could go up three blocks. We went up three blocks and made plans to determine if we wanted to go to the side and make turns or go straight down.We decided we’ll go take a right and a left, but I went too fast. I didn’t want to fall off, so I went to the left to break and went too fast I went over half the block, so I had to catch up.  After we did that run she went inside to say that we are doing another. Then we went up one block, took a left, went up another, took a right, and went down the block and got back. We took a water break and had popsicles. We went in the backyard for a break and went on the hammock. She kept rocking it, and we fell off. We laughed so loud her sister came out and asked, “What are you playing?”

We replied and said, “We just fell off the hammock.” She kept asking what we were playing, so we got annoyed and left for the bike ride. We went up fully, took a left, and went straight down. We went so fast, but then she was breaking. Then I almost crashed, but I used two brakes on my bike. Then she had to tell me to break because she went so slow. Even though we had some problems it was still a fun day.

Coming To An End by #agent2

As we come to the end of the school year, it makes some people sad, but some people are happy to have a break. Or, some can have mixed emotions. I myself know that I am a little sad to leave because we did so many fun activities, and I am going to miss them so much! Some people have plans to go away for the summer, but some people stay right where  they are.

For teachers, it might be hard to see some of your students move to a different grade, but there is always a new community of students waiting for the next year to come. For a lot of people the next year can be really scary. What I think is that you think it is going to be bad, but when in reality, you fly through it.

As the years go by, everything gets a little bit harder. For example, worksheets, topics, and lots of other things that you will have to do for school work. I think that switching buildings will be tough on a lot of people too. You have a completely different schedule, and you have totally new rooms and no clue where they are.

Although, I believe that after a while you will know where to go. Like I said, I am very sad to leave the J/J, but I know there will be so many fun things to do in middle school. I guess you could say that I am “Exsaded!”

Koda’s Diaries #13 by #agent3

Koda here! It has been very hot out lately! The babies have been playing in the baby pool outside! There are buckets to make sand castles in the sand box in our backyard, but the kids like to fill them up with water from the mini pool and try to get water on me. I am very fast though, and I run away.  I don't like water. It has been super hot out, so Maura filled up a dog bowl with water outside for me. After we are done, we go inside and Maura dries me off because sometimes the kids get the water on me. Everyone has been in quarantine, so Maura spends extra time with me. I am not excited for them to go back to school, but Maura is really excited. Why? She says it's because she doesn't want to have to make up the work at home. She says that it is not fun having to do lots of work. We are going back outside now. I will probably go and chase that squirrel. I think we are starting to become friends. I think it's more like playing tag than actually chasing him. Anyway, I have to go. I will see you guys later. Bye!

Buzz the bee’s adventures #6 By: #Agent7

Hi! Welcome back to another episode of Buzz the bee’s adventures! Today we are going to talk about The Day in the Life of a Fifth Grader! Before we begin our amazing adventure today, we will describe what a Day in the Life of a Fifth Grader is. Well, we hear from fifth grade students from Dr. Freedman’s secret agents about how they feel as a fifth grader. As well as their likes and dislikes about fifth grade or anything they like or don’t like in school. We will talk about our routines we do everyday as fifth graders.

First, we come in and put our red folders in our mailboxes. Then we do our detective logs. Once it’s 8:30 we go up for special. Let’s say we have art. We then have art until 9:10. Then we have morning meeting. We usually do two rounds for a game, and then we do something else like the steps on how to apologize correctly. Then we have reading stations, which are Sustained silent reading(SSR), Hyperdocs (A Google slide about some people and about history), and Book Club(You basically have a group that you read a book with and then answer the question if there is). Sometimes we do Wordly Wise or writing from Chrystine Morrel. Afterwards we have lunch and recess. Then we do science or social studies. After, we have math. At the end of the day we do the 3 A's and our room jobs. The mail agent calls us by agent number to get their mail. And then were dismissed! And that is the Day in the Life of a Fifth Grader! See next time in our last episode! Bye!

My Amazing Trip to New York by #Agent19

Over April break I went to New York! During my last blog I talked about getting to New York, but now I am going to talk about what we (my two friends, their moms, and my mom) did there.

When we were there we did a LOT. When we first got there we walked to the hotel to drop off our luggage and then went to explore the city! First we went to go get breakfast because we were all hungry. We found somewhere to eat, but there weren't many things there that we liked so we ended up going to Panera! I got mac and cheese even though it was 9:30 in the morning because it is soooooooo good. After that we went to walk around more and look at lots of famous things in New York. We saw Grand Central Station, Saint Patrick's Cathedral, The 9/11 memorials, and Central Park (the place were Kevin in Home Alone sees the pigeon lady). We took the Staten Island Ferry to see the Statue of Liberty and The New York Public Library,  which wasn’t much of a library when you walk in. We saw sooooooo many different things. It was CRAZY!

One of my favorite things that we did was… we went to the American Girl Doll store! My friend Annie that went with us likes dolls, and she had never been to the American Girl Doll store and she was sooooo excited to go. I have been a couple times before, but the one closest to me closed and I hadn't been to the one in New York before. But on the other hand, my friend Annabelle that went with us doesn’t like dolls so she went out and did other stuff with her mom. We both got a couple little things that we liked and headed back to the hotel. When we got back to the hotel our rooms were ready, so we washed up to go…… see Mrs. Doubtfire on Broadway (and get dinner)! We were going to go to a diner that is supposably really good, and we had to walk a LOT to get there. When we got there the line was out the door, so we went to Hard Rock Cafe. Then when we were done eating we went to see the amazing Mrs. Doubtfire. It was soooo good! I even think it was better than the actual movie! And that never happens! I recommend seeing it. The character did an amazing job!

Thank you for listening about my amazing trip to New York!

Favorite Animals by #agent22

What is your favorite animal? Well this blog is about the most popular favorite animals. I am going to be talking about the top ten favorite animals. The tenth favorite animal in the world is monkeys. Personally I really like monkeys and would put the further up the list at fourth place, but that is just my opinion. Number nine is lions. I am not a huge fan of lions but, I can see why other people would like them. Number eight is sharks. I am scared of sharks, so I can’t relate to anyone that likes them. I guess they're kind of interesting? Next on the list at number 7… is birds! I love birds. I would put them at number 1. At number 6 we have bears. I don't know how I feel about bears. I have mixed feelings, I guess. Number five is fish. I think some fish are more interesting, but some others are just boring to me. Number four is horses. Horses are amazing. Number 3 is chickens . Chickens are okay. I just don’t like them that much. I just think they are a little boring.  At number 2 is cats! I prefer dogs but cats are nice too! Speaking of dogs, at number one we have dogs! I love dogs, but they are not my favorite animal though. Why do you think people like these animals? Thanks for reading my blog. I hope you learned something new about animals.

The Stanley Cup Playoffs by #agent23

The Stanley Cup playoffs are my favorite time of year. It is when teams in the NHL compete for the ultimate prize, the Stanley Cup. There is a seven game series played between two teams. Only the top four teams in each division move on to the playoffs. When the playoffs are on for the Boston Bruins I think that we should get the night off from homework. I also think we should wear Boston themed clothes to school on the days they have games. That would be a lot of fun. I love how competitive the games get during the playoffs. I think it is very entertaining to watch.I think this because when hockey players are put under pressure they make bigger hits. One of my favorite things to do is to watch hockey with my friends at a sports bar.  With the hockey season coming to an end I am upset that I will not be able to watch the games but happy that I can now focus on the Red Sox.  I would love it if the Bruins brought back home the cup. We have not won it since 2011, and I would like to see the banner hang in the rafters. Wish the Boston Bruins luck!

Episode 13 The Great Outdoors by #agent6

Ya see I have been on Xbox a little too much, so I have been in the great outdoors lately. First is my bouncy trampoline I got for my birthday. All my friends in the hood come over to jump with me. We put a basketball hoop on it to slam dunk. Second is my epic bike. It has two horns, one parrot and a normal one, when you flick it it goes ding. My bike  Also a basket, pegs and a cool light. The bike has a pump, glove case and water bottle holder. I learned to ride during Covid, and now it is one of my favorite things to do. Third is my basketball hoop in the driveway. I can switch sizes 7.5 or 10 feet, and I can play and try to dunk. Last is practicing football. I like to throw and catch and practice my drills.  I like to spend more time outside than inside, and that is the great outdoors.

Looking forward to Summer! by #agent17

This summer I have a lot of fun things to do. My favorite thing is that I have a pool so I am going to swim all the time. I also have a lot of camps  that I am doing like: Maplewood, Step Up to 6th grade, Girls Just Want To Have Fun, and a lacrosse camp with some professional lacrosse players. In August I also have my birthday, so I will probably do something fun for that. Something that I am really excited for is that I am going to invite my whole lacrosse team over to have a big pool party.

The first camp I am doing is Maplewood. Maplewood is a camp that you do for three weeks, and you do lots of things like: arts and crafts, riding boats, sports, and  swimming in the pool. My next camp that I am doing isStep Up to 6th grade. That is basically where you get to know the 6th grade better, and you get to know the classes better. My second to last camp is a camp called Girls Just Want To Have Fun. That is where you do a lot of arts and crafts, and you just have a lot of fun with your friends. The last camp that I am doing is a lacrosse camp. That is where you get trained by a professional lacrosse player, and you do this at a high school field or a collage field. I think this summer I am going to have so much fun!
