Drawing on paper is much better than trying to draw on the computer.

When I draw on paper, my picture is neater and it is easier. When I draw on the computer, it is hard, because it’s difficult to draw with a mouse or mouse pad. When I draw a flower, it looks so nice on paper, but when I draw a flower on the computer, it looks messy. Some of the things that I like to draw on paper are unicorns and animals. I do not draw these on the computer because they are too hard to draw with a mouse.

Being an Uncle by #agent2

 Today I am going to be talking about my nephew Eli Walker. His full name is Elias Henry Walker. I also forgot to tell you I am an uncle. Now that I am an uncle, I feel like I should be able to stay up a little longer or have no bedtime. I really like the sound of not having a bedtime better.  When I was 6 or7, I thought that you had to be 35 or older  to be an uncle. I figured out you don't have to be old to be an uncle. Ever since I have been an uncle, I feel more mature. I feel like the baby is going to play rugby because my brother Derrion plays rugby.  I want him to play football because I play football. I want him to be a quarterback or a wide receiver.   I really don't know a lot about him because he is so young.  What I can tell you about him is that he can fit in your hand. He only weighs 5 pounds. He is like a Chipotle burrito. He looks like that superhero with the red face that Iron Man built. I did not know he was going to be red. I thought he was  going to be lighter than my skin color. When I held him, he did not cry. I must be the best uncle ever. I did not like that he was kicking me like an MMA fighter. Elais Henry Walker is by far my favorite nephew.

The Adventure Of Kevin The Dog!!!! by #agent1

Once upon a time in the universe of 15, Wall Street, there lived a dog named Kevin. Kevin was the clumsiest dog ever in existence, and he didn’t mean to do anything on purpose. One day changed his whole life. Crash!!!! “Kevin, did you knock something over again?!” Kevin whimpered, and he knew he was in trouble. Kevin got so scared he ran away, and here is where our adventure begins with Kevin.

   Kevin thought he was a criminal, and he was on the run. A lot of people ran when they saw him because he was pretty dirty and smelly, and the people were a little scared. This made Kevin sad, and he just wanted to be at home. How could he though? He was a failure in his old family's eyes. Kevin was disheartened, and he wished he was a human being. Hey maybe that was the thing. He saw an old wizard (who was actually a magician) up the street, and he could ask him to turn him into a human being. He went up the street where he found the wizard. Kevin got so excited he jumped on him, but the wizard yelled, helped, and ran away. Kevin yelled, “Wait”, but since he is a dog the wizard could only hear a bark. The next day Kevin went to try again, and this time he brought an old piece of steak to give him. Now the magician took the piece of steak and said, “I know you are homeless now and if you want I can take you in?” Kevin understood human language, and he barked and jumped to say yes, and they lived happily ever after in the universe of 216, Bullard Street.

This Week's Basketball by #agent9

In basketball it was a very close game. I played pretty well too. We won fifty-three to fifty-four. I had six points, five rebounds’ and four assists. I think it was one of the best teams we played. They didn’t have a very good record. I don’t know if they’re one of the best teams we played but that day they just played very well. Although we did play a team with not a very good record and lost. My friend played amazingly. He had twenty points!  On my first basket as soon as I shot it I knew if I missed it I was getting subbed out, but it hit the backboard and went in! I was surprised ,and my coach yelled okay Kareem! Kareem Abdul Jabbar was a legendary basketball player who would turn around and throw it up one handed ,and that’s what I did. We started playing good defense although they just kept on scoring. One kid on their team would always shoot three pointers ,and most of them went in! Another one of their kids always drove the hoop and ended up getting fouled or somehow made the shot. My second basket was when I got the ball in the short corner, which is under the hoop to the side I got the ball. I threw it up with a hard angle to hit the backboard ,and it somehow went in! Then my last was a simple easy layup. That was how this week’s basketball went!

Why I dislike Covid 19 by #agent8

I don’t like Covid 19 because it has killed many people, changed the way we live, changed the way people work, and the way people learn.

Covid deaths are probably my least worst reason. I think this because people’s lives ended, and that might be the worst thing that could happen and they have to deal with the sickness.

I don’t like how Covid changed the way we live because I don’t like how we have to wear masks and social distance because of Covid. I also don’t like how much I worry about getting Covid, and it affects how we do school.

Some people can’t work the same. Some people have to work on computers instead of going to work in the building they use to work at.

It also affects how we learn in school. We stay six feet apart and wear masks during school. It was really hard to see when I wore glasses because the mask would fog up my glasses, so I did not see through them. We also could not make contact with other people because of Covid. They also had to split the recess  area, so it is one class per zone. It is not as easy to learn through computers as in a classroom.

So in conclusion there are many reasons I don't like Covid 19.

A letter to my future self.#agent14

Hellooo Readers! Today is something that’s a little different than normal but here goes! Today, I am writing a letter to my future self. I’ll be doing this yearly, though you may not see it. 

Dear Mady,

You might be going by Leine now, (pronounced Lin) like at camp, but I don’t really know. Hi! It’s your past self, and I just wanted to ask, How is middle school? I’m still in the fifth grade and am feeling kind of unprepared. I know several middle schoolers, and they all enjoy it enough to go, so it can’t be that bad. It just feels like I’ve been at the J/J for a lot longer than for real! 2020 lasted for ages, and 4th grade feels like a millennium ago. How much has your music changed? Your book taste? Your bedroom? Truvy? (The dog) Mom & Dad? I need answers! But I know I won’t get them for awhile.

“A genuine leader is not a searcher of consensus, but a molder of consensus.” -Martin Luther King Jr. Does this quote sound familiar? Or does it sit in the back of your mind like a book you didn’t enjoy reading? Maybe you have a new favorite quote now, but that’s my favorite for now. It tells me that a leader doesn’t have a designated path or a destiny. They have the rights to become who they want to be. No matter what. (Okay, maybe it matters slightly if they’re dead…)

Anyways, did Rick Roirdan go back to college and get his degree in Irish history yet? He said he would when he published his new book through Zoom! If so, what did he publish? Any updates on Nico DiAngelo? (Asking as he is my favorite character nowadays:-) Did Lincoln Peirce come out with a new Max & the Midknights book? Did Corey Ann Hayden (I think I might have spelled that wrong) come out with Eventown Book 2??? This I must know! Did Shannon Messenger come out with the next Keeper of the Lost Cities book? (This one is most definitely required as it remains #1 right now!) Did Truvy finally destroy her favorite rubber bone? What happened with Moriah Elizabeth?? Is she still posting Friday Videos? Did she paint another dinosaur?? (ME is a YouTuber who I currently love, and am “obsessed” with her character Pickle? Saying that with quotation marks as that is Tyler’s comment, not mine.) Did you finish reading A Promised Land? (Barack Obama’s Book) What did you think of the ending? Did James Ponti finish the entire City Spies series? How was his book from Rio’s perspective? I can’t wait for that one! In the future, do we meet any more of Ms. Freedman’s former agents? Does Mr. Curry ever get over his hate for glitter? Have you been to Hawaii yet? How about England? Are you fluent in Hawaiian yet? A lot of stuff has probably happened since now though. Anyways, one more thing, did you ever get that Nintendo Switch? Do you get a phone? Sigh. Well, I have to go. But say Hi to everybody you know for me. Maybe not everybody… but enough people to make it count. Make sure to meet more Authors for me!

Adventure. By #agent10

I can’t go on small adventures during the snow. When it’s summer, maybe. When it’s spring, nope. Fall? Nope. I only go on small adventures during the summer if there is nothing to do. But there is a lot of snow outside, and nowhere near summer. Sometimes I go on road trips with my family to a restaurant or Boston. And a very little percent of my family and I go on vacation during the summer. That’s only if it’s the last case scenario. Other than that, I don’t really like going on adventures all that much. I also like going on vacation to a FUN place. Who doesn’t? Imagine you went to the most fun place on Earth. My mom, my sisters, and I went on a vacation. My dad could not come because first, he didn’t like where we were going. And second, he said he had to work to pay the bills. My most favorite vacation was going to Niagara Falls! Corona ruined everything! School is online. I would have gone on vacation, but I can’t because of Corona. We can’t go anywhere for my cousin's birthday because of Corona. There was only one good thing about Corona. I got a dog! Sadly I still couldn’t go anywhere because my mom wouldn’t let us.

Minecraft is a fun game where you can make and do whatever you want. There are 3 game modes in Singleplayer Minecraft. There’s creative mode, where you have an infinite supply of blocks and items, and there are even some special items! There’s also survival mode, where you try to survive in the (almost) infinite world. There’s also a thing called Hardcore mode, where the game difficulty is locked to hard, and if you die once the whole world is deleted. In Multiplayer Minecraft, you can play on servers by the community. The most popular server is Hypixel, and there are tons of fun minigames on it. There is a really fun game that people play on Minecraft called skyblock. You start on a small island with nothing but a tree, an ice block, and a lava bucket. There are two other islands. One is a desert island a short distance away, and the other is in the nether. Hypixel took their own spin on it and made a fun game. Like before you start on a small island, but there's a hub with all sorts of things and areas. It has a skill level system, a collection system, and even places where you can buy and sell things. There is also a thing called Minecraft Realms, where you can get a subscription so you can play on a server with your friends. There are many preset worlds, and it's really awesome. There are lots of things in the game, and I really like it.

Day 6 to universal by #agent5

 We pulled up to the gates of Universal Studios. We found a parking spot. Then we walked to this giant  ramp,  and there was this one part on the ramp  where you could stand on it and it would push you forward. Then we walked into this big crowded area where there were tickets. We  got  our tickets and headed into the amusement park. It was huge. We saw minions ride. I think there was a Shrek ride. there was a gift store that we stopped at and got sweatshirts. We walked by a Jaws model of the ship sinking and catching the shark. It looked awesome next to the Jaws model was a huge Optimus Prime statue. Then we walked on  until we saw the Knight Bus from Harry Potter. It was  ginormous. There were so many windows. We walked into the leaky cauldron. But it wasn't like the actual bar in Harry Potter. It was just LED to the back wall that had a huge hole in it, but the hole was from Harry Potter. There were so many shops. It was unbelievable. We walked into a  wand Shop, I got a wand. It was the elder wand. Then we went on the Gringotts ride. There were ups and downs. There was fire. There's dragons. After that we got lunch and went to the three Broomsticks. It was delicious. Then we went on Hagrid's roller coaster ride. After that we left Harry Potter World and we went on the King Kong ride. I thought it was going to be so horrifying because of how creepy the entrance looked,  but it wasn't horrifying at all. I loved it. We also went on the Spider-Man ride. It was so much fun. And then we left Florida.  I loved the flight back.

   I like to drink milk. It tastes good. I do not think everyone needs to drink milk, but a good amount of people need to drink milk. Some people are lactose intolerant, and milk has lactose. Milk is good for us. First of all it has a lot of calcium, so your bones get stronger. Second it can be used for other things. Recipes use milk, especially food recipes. Homemade Mac and cheese needs milk. Cheese is processed milk. Some sauces also use milk. It is quite important to buy milk to make a job not go away. Dairy farmers need us to drink milk.

Warhammer 40k kitbashing by #agent15

What is kitbashing? Kitbashing is when you take parts from different kits and put them together. So how does it work? Let's say I got a set with real arms that I like, and I got one with a real body that I like then I could put them together to have a  body and an arm I like. In theory that's how it works. Here's some examples:

Primaris head.

 

So those are some examples of kitbashing, but there are some other really ones besides this like this. 

And 

All of these are kitbashed. So how can you do it? Get 2 boxes of Warhammer, and take parts from both and build stuff. That is an easy way to start. And as you get better you can use green stuff to make Warhammer parts or use it as a fill in. There a videos on how do kitbash Warhammer 40k. If you wanted to you could make your own army out of kitbashing to make it yours.

How to learn how to ride a scooter by #agent20

First how to ride a scooter. How you start off is put your two hands on the handlebars. Next what I would do is just put 1 foot on the scooter and push and balance with that 1 foot. The next step to scootering is try to put both feet on the scooter and just slowly push with 1 foot. And then push even faster, and then put both feet on and balance and keep riding and then on your back wheel. Then push your foot on that and your scooter should break. Next you can start to learn the fancy stuff if you're ready. 1. An ollie is when every part of your scooter is off the ground. It might sound easy, but it's not. What you have to do first is pull up the handle bars and jump and hopefully  you jump. Next thing you need to learn is to ollie over things. So what you need to do is ollie but pull up the handle bars more, and hopefully you did it. Trick 2. Bunny hopping is pretty much the same thing, but you're trying to land on your front wheel and then move back to the 2 wheels.

The Magical Land of Disney by #agent18

I have been looking forward to writing this blog.The next day my mom and dad brought us to the airport bright and early. The airport looked so futeristic and fancy. We got breakfast from Starbucks in the airport. I got one of my favorite foods, a chocolate croissant. It was delicious. Then we waited for like an hour. When we got on the plane I remembered something. I am terrified of being so high off the ground. But it wasn't so bad after all. When we got to Disney World I did not know what to do first. We ended up going on Big Thunder Mountain. We got to skip lines because of our dash pass. A dash pass is for people with disabilities. Next we went on The Haunted Mansion. I am not a big fan of that ride, but my brother is. My dad and I went on this ride called Space Mountain. My brother was too scared of it though, so my mom and he went to the Monsters Inc ride. We went to all the Disney Princesses castles. And at night we saw the light show on Cinderella's castle. It was so pretty. I will never forget how magical it felt when we were there. And that is all the highlights of my trip to Disney World.

Favorite Superheroes by #agent17

5. Batman: Batman is really awesome. He doesn’t not have actual powers, but he still defeats all of the villains like Joker with his epic gadgets and fighting skills. He has a good suit, and I also really like his batmobile. Whenever he needs to get somewhere he can use his batmobile because it’s really fast, which is good.

4. Captain America: Captain America is very patriotic. I like how whenever he throws his shield he can make it come back to him like it is a boomerang, and he is also good at blocking with it. Captain America is fast and has good fighting skills just like Batman. His suit works pretty well because it has the same colors as the American flag and his name is Captain America.

3. The Flash: I like that they are named The Flash because he can run really fast, and it will look like a little flash because that’s how fast it is. I think The Flash is really funny as well. I like the suit. There are lots of lightning bolts all over the suit because The Flash is really fast, and so it makes a lot of sense to me.

2. The Hulk: The Hulk always gets really angry, and when that happens he gets big and green. He just has to make sure not to get too angry or he might start destroying things that should not be destroyed, which I think is good for the story. The Hulk is really powerful and strong. He can take out their enemies easily most of the time unless it is someone really strong.

1. Spider-Man: Spider-Man is a good superhero for lots of reasons. He is really funny, relatable, and inspirational. Whenever he loses to someone he always gets back up and defeats their enemy next time. I like the pattern on the suit. It looks a lot like a spider web. Lots of people are always mean to him, but if only they knew that he was Spider-Man then they wouldn’t be rude all of the time!

My 2 Favorite Games by #agent4

Minecraft is one of my favorite games. You can do anything. I love to play it. Two days ago I made a huge house with my brother. I have iron armor, a stone pickaxe, and iron sword. I was just playing and fell in lava, the worst thing that could happen. So I headed to my house, and my brother had diamonds. So I tried to kill him, and I got it. I built a sword and an iron pickaxe. My brother cried a lot, so I had to give him the sword. We kept looking for more diamonds, and we found nothing. But we got a dog, and we did not call it anything. We just made a house for my brother, and it took us 30 minutes. We did nothing after then. 

I played Call Of Duty 4 or COD 4 if you want to make it shorter. So I started playing zombies and got ray gun, traded it and I raged quit.  I played with  a npc. This is a character in a game who is not a human.  I tried to noscope. This is when you try to snipe someone without zooming into to the scope. I'll tell you I was bad at it. My big brother joined me to play, and we played a zombie’s map called IX. We almost got to round 30, but I did not upgrade and we lost. And that is some stuff I do on my two favorite games.

Snowboarding by #agent6

On Saturday my siblings and I went snowboarding. We woke up at six in the morning and started to drive. We got Dunkin Donuts on the way. The place we went to was only fifteen minutes away. When we got there my parents had to get our snowboards. We did a lesson with a snowboarder, and she taught us how to go down a hill in different ways. The first thing she taught us was about the different parts of the board. Then how to turn. You turn by going on your heels or toes. My favorite way to turn is to go on my heels. After we learned about that we went on the bunny slope and first went forward and backward. After that we went side to side. I think that was the hardest part. Then our time was up, so we went on one bigger hill with our mom and dad. That was too hard for my sister and brother, so they didn't do it again. I did it again with my mom. My dad stayed with my siblings on the bunny slope. My second time going down I fell more because I went on bigger trails. One time I fell and my helmet almost came off. I hope that I get to go snowboarding again.

Once there was a MERMAID swimming in her deep blue sea. But she didn't know what to do because if she went above the water some fishermen could see her and fish her out of the water, which would be HORRIBLE!! But that little Mermaid named Crystal She was TOO curious. She would always wonder what was above the water. So one day she made a decision she was going to go up above the water and see for herself what was above the water. She swam and swam until she got above the water. She said, “WOW this looks beautiful!”  SUDDENLY she saw something in front of her. It was a fisherman's boat that appeared in front of her, so she swam as fast as she could under the water to be safe. But it was too late. The fisherman saw her and tried to catch her, and they did catch her. So Crystal had to make a plan while the fishermen were in shock that they found a mermaid. Her plan was to try to make them in more shock by talking right in front of them.  She said to them hey what's  up. Her plan worked, and they were in even more shock. So this was time to jump right out of the net and jump in the water. YES she did it and her plan worked out awesome. Now she knows that there are better things than getting caught  in a fisherman's net, so now she plays with her fish friends.

HELLO TO ALL FRIENDS!!! I have taken crunch book again because it is va..val...Am I reading this right? What is this strange word? Oh OH ok, that’s how you say it. Valentine's Day!

Ok like I said before it’s va..Valetimes..no..Valentine’s day. I am very excited because I love holidays and getting loved and getting pets and that is what Valentine’s Day is all about!  “Ding dong” WOOOOOOOFFF!!!

So sorry about my barking, but you know I can’t help it. On the front steps of the house there is a weird shaped box with a card on top. The box looks like a triangle at the bottom, but at the top are two humps. It is a strange shape for sure. The card says, Beau, You are a PAWsome dog. Will you be my Valentine?  Oh my gosh. Somebody asked me to be their valentine. HOORAY! But, it doesn’t say who it’s from. Oh no! How can I be their valentine if I don’t know who they are? I guess I’ll just have to find out!

Ok who could have sent that card. It needs to be somebody I know since they sent it to my house. Could it be somebody from my family? Maybe but they probably would have just given it to me since they live with me. Could it be one of my friends from daycare? Maybe. Could it be Dixie? NO NO NO! Dixie doesn’t like me and probably hates me now that I ruin her chances of being President. Could it be that random dog I once saw on my walk? Ehh most likely not. I am STUMPED. I have no idea who my secret valentine is! 

I am sad.  ARROOOUUGGHH!! I really want to know who my valentine is! “Hey Beau,” my sister, -she is a secret agent- says. “ What is this on the steps?  Awww did you get your own puppy valentine? That’s cute. I wonder who it’s from. Let me just look at the name tag.” Wait a minute..name tag? How did I miss the NAME TAG!!! I am so embarrassed. You know what this blog is over. “ Beau, it says it’s from…” BYE EVERYBODY THIS IS BEAU SIGNING OFF!

My favorite TV shows by #agent7

Here are my favorite TV shows. All American. I like All American because the show has a great backstory, and it reminds me of a movie we watched in class called Safety. All American is a show about mostly football, but it is also a backstory. The main character's name is Spencer James, and he is a brother named Dylan James. Spencer lives in Crenshaw. He played football for the Crenshaw lightning. But the coach for Beverly Hill Eagles, Billy Baker, gave Spencer a chance to get out of Crenshaw. That was just a quick summary of  All American. 

Next moving on to Glee. I like Glee because I like music, and the show has a good story. Glee is a  musical show. It's about a glee club in a school called William McKinley High School. The main characters are Rachel Berry, Finn Hudson, Kurt Hummel, Mercedes Jones, Tina Cohen Chang and Artie Abrams. The show is mostly about their character growth and what happens to the glee club. And that was a quick summary of Glee. 

The next show and last show is called Gilmore Girls. I like Gilmore Girls because it has a great backstory, and my mom likes it so it is fun to watch it with her. It is about a mom and her daughter. The mom's name is Lorelei, and the daughter's name is also Lorelei but people call her Rory. Rory is very nice and smart. She really wants to go to Harvard. Lorelei is funny and best friends with her daughter, and popular around town. The town they live in is called Stars Hollow. And those are my favorite shows.

Monster School 2 by #agent3

 “I need to talk to you.” I was so worried. Did she know? She started to talk, and she said, “Honey about your teacher being a vampire. You're one too.

” “OMG! Mom how could you not tell me this? This is like the most important thing that happened in my life. I'm still mad at you but how do I activate it? How do I become a vampire?”

“Sweetie you aren't old enough to turn into a vampire yet. You turn into a vampire when you're 16.” “But mom, that is in so long. Wait are you, a vampire too?” 

“Yes. I am, but also your whole school is monsters. That is why it is called Monster School. 

“I thought to myself am I going to have to fight people but I shouldn’t have been focusing on that right now so I listened to my mom and she said.” 

“But not everybody is a vampire. Some people might be a zombie or a lot of others stuff. But you cannot tell anybody because they might not know. If somebody else told you that you were a vampire or a different monster in your school you might have not known, so you might have freaked out. Some people in your school might know like you know. And you obviously know that your teacher is a vampire so this is what I need you to do. When you go to school on Monday, I have a form for you that I need you to hand into your teacher.” 

“After we got home from the walk my mom told me the form questions were:  your name obviously, what monster you are, when you found out, and how you feel about it. The last one is are you excited about being a monster or are you not excited about being a monster. But when my mom walked away she left the form on the table  I was looking at it a little bit more, and it said something on the back. It said…”

Gravity Falls by #agent19

 Gravity Falls is a TV show that aired on Disney XD in 2012-2016 where 12 year old twin brother and sister Dipper and Mabel Pines go to a place in Oregon called Gravity Falls to live in their great uncle Stan's house for the summer. Stan had transformed his house into a tourist trap called the Murder Hut later renamed the Mystery Shack full of “attractions.” In the meantime Dipper, while putting up signs in the woods, finds a mysterious maroon journal with a golden six fingered hand (including thumb) with the number 3 painted on it. When Dipper opened it he quickly found out that it was full of paranormal findings and codes specific for this town but Dipper cannot find any information on who the author is.

Puzzles by #agent22

 This blog is on different levels of Puzzles: I like hard puzzles, but you should probably start with very easy puzzles and then work your way up. They make puzzles for every skill level of people, but since I've been doing it for years I can do very hard puzzles. I'm doing one at my house where it's 1000 pieces, and we've done a lot. There is one piece that was pretty hard to get because we were all searching for it for a while, and then my grandfather finally got it while I was at school. Now we're working on the inside, and every time I go to school there's a lot more done. I have another puzzle where it's like 550 pieces, which isn't as hard as the other one but is still pretty hard. The reason why I like hard puzzles is because they challenge me and make me really think. You have to look at the picture on it. Then look at the spot. Look at the puzzle piece and how it's carved and stuff like that. Then see if it goes in. If not you take it out and try another one, but if it doesn't look like it fits or doesn't look like it matches the piece next to it or doesn't match with the piece that you just put in try again. One could be red because it's the sun or yellow or then the next that's still part of the sun could be brown. Then it wouldn't work. Even if it may look like it fits it doesn't necessarily have to fit. You have to look at it and say to yourself, “Does this match with the piece next to it and does it look like it completes a picture?” Puzzles don't allow you to put the wrong puzzle piece in the wrong spot.
