If I were the President of the United States by #Agent7

Being the President of the United States is one of the hardest jobs in the world. You have to do at least one speech a day, you have to travel around the world to meet different people, and you have to write a lot of documents. I wouldn't want to be the President, but if I was in the future, I would make some changes in our world. Once I would get inaugurated, I would run in and claim the biggest bedroom in the White House. Next, I would get twenty dogs. After a month of being President, I would give a speech about World hunger and how we need to stop it. After my speech, I would travel to Qatar to see a World Cup game. Once I get back from Qatar, I would explore the rest of the White House. 

After my first year as being President, I would give another speech. This one would be about Covid-19. I would make a different type of vaccine that would save anyone from Covid-19. The next day, I would give another speech about Flu A. I would also make a vaccine that could save anyone from the Flu. I would also make shots not hurt.

 After my second year as being President, I would make bullying illegal. I would invite all of my friends to have a party at my house. After my third year as being President, I would give my last speech on getting new Police equipment. Whenever a robbery is committed, a little phone will buzz and it will give the robbers location. Finally, my four years as President is over. That is what I would do if I were the President of the United States.  

Thanksgiving By #Agent19

It was a really good Thanksgiving this year. The parade was  awesome, and I really liked the Ryan float. Then the cousins came over and Nana and Grandma too. Gramma has a dog named Samey, and he is really small.The food was really good too. My favorite is the mashed potatoes. My brother, the cousins, and I played video games together. We played Nickelodeon all Star Brawl and Fifa 21. I have a question for you. What is your favorite float? Mine is the Ryan Float.

The World of I Do Not Know by #Agent9

 The world of I do not know is often visited by me. This world is a blank world. When I am out of thoughts I visit this world. It is possible to get out of this world with some simple steps. One thing I could do is think about what is being asked of me. Another thing I could do is look for stuff. This would be helpful when looking for things to work on or do. If I do not know something I could search it up. I would use a computer or a phone to help me. Going to Google would help because it has all the information. I think a world with no Google would be very hard to learn about things. For example I might not be able to discover things from other countries. There would be no Google tools to support me in school. I could ask my teachers or my family members for help when I do not know something. Asking for help is good because if you do not ask for help how will you ever get the answer to your question. If you cannot use all the tools available to help you then asking an adult is helpful. If you do not ask you will never know!

STURBRIDGE VILLAGE by #Agent6

I decided to make my blog on going to Sturbridge Village with my family. It was fun, but I was cold the whole time. So we went to the bonfire there, but my favorite part was when I went inside the old house’s because they looked more wooden than your average home these days and had old artifacts. Everyone was dressed like it was the 1820’s, and there was a church where people sang Christmas carols. My least favorite part was when I was standing outside, and it was freezing because it was 20 degrees outside. I was happy when I went back inside. I could barely feel my toes, and my fingers were frozen.  When I got back in the car I took my gloves off, and I could barely move my fingers. I got to make a candle. It was fun. I dipped it in wax for a while, and then when I got home I put it in the freezer overnight to make it freeze and harden.  We got free gingerbread, but I didn’t like it because it had black pepper in it but it was decent. My favorite part of going to Sturbridge Village was the bonfire because it kept me warm. That's what I did at Sturbridge Village.

Snickers by #Agent10

One day when I was going to school to give back my signed report card to my teacher. I realized my dog, named Snickers, was going down to my backpack, which I realized a little too late that it was open. Next thing I knew Snickers was running up the stairs and hiding under the table. I knew that I had to get outside to my bus stop soon, or I would miss the bus. So I yelled for my dad to come downstairs quickly before he would get in the shower. He ran down and I explained the situation to him. He swiftly ran to Snickers and tried to get it out but it just ripped into two!! In that quick moment I took the bigger piece of the report card and ran to the bus before it was too late. And on the bus ride there I was telling all my friends on the bus what happened, and they could not believe it at first. But then I had to explain the whole situation just as I did for my dad. And on the whole ride there we were laughing the whole time. And I bet I look back on that day and laugh about it.

My Dad’s Pizza by #Agent21

   Welcome to my new blog. My dad’s pizza’s are awesome, and he really likes to make them. Sometimes I help my dad make the pizzas but all except for the butter pizza.My dad sometimes makes the dough homemade and sometimes buys it at the supermarket. Some pizzas we made are not like the usual pepperoni and cheese. Some examples are Mexican with jalapeños, fig and feta, spinach and feta and prosciutto.  There was also a butter pizza that did not go well. 

The reason I keep bringing up the butter pizza is because there was an incident. It all started on a normal day when there was smoke filling the house and the fire alarm was going off. I was running around screaming for help but luckily nothing bad like a fire happened, but the pizza was burned. 

My dad likes pizza so much that he is hoping for an outdoor pizza oven imported from Italy. He also wants a giant pizza spatula so he can stand far away from the oven and still take the pizza out. My dad heard about a dessert pizza and wants to try it. The book fair makeup by #Agent16

Today I had to make up my trip to the book fair because I forgot to bring money during the class trip. What I got was the Roblox Built it, Win it, and I Survived the Wellington Avalanche of 1910. I also got a poster that says Gaming Zone. I saw some beginner books, but I'm too good at these beginner books and I saw scary books that I don't like because they are too scary to read. I saw an estimation station, but I didn't have time to estimate the jar of candies. I enjoyed the book I Survived the Wellington Avalanche of 1910 because it was something new, and I wanted to read this book. I like the gaming zone poster because it has a cool design, and has a gaming controller, and I like the theme of the background. I like the Roblox Build it, Win it book because it has games to explore in this book, and that is it for my book fair.   

Presenting my DQ adventure by #Agent8

When we were waiting for the DQ presentation to start, I was a little nervous because I was presenting that day. But I knew that there was nothing to be scared about because I have done it before. When I saw my little brother I was on cloud nine! When I heard my teacher say my DQ name I was up first! I was so happy, so I grabbed my answer sheet for my DQ quiz. Then I grabbed the mic and remote and started my DQ. 

I told my classmates that there would be a quiz at the end of my presentation so that they could be focused and know the answers. My DQ was called Who is JK Rowling? Then I said when she was born, who her parents are, how old she is, if she has any siblings, and who she married and who her kids are. Then I did a video about her and had the TA’S pass out note cards so my classmates can note down what they learn. When the video ended I did my fun facts slide. I said the fun facts. Here is one of them: JK Rowlings real name is Joanne Kathleen Rowling. Then it was quiz time. I told them what they needed. When I said the first question I called on the first person who raised their hand. I called on my peers for the next four questions and called on the classmates who raised their hands. When I finished the quiz I showed my source slide. At the end it was time to ask for questions or comments. That was my DQ adventure.

When We Decorate For Christmas by #Agent13

My family and I started setting up for Christmas the day after Thanksgiving. The first thing we put up was the fake tree.  We put tons of ornaments on the tree and most are glittery and sparkly. We did the same thing with four other trees set up around the house. It took a long time but it was worth it.      

Then we put up the gnomes all over the house, which was so much fun some even look like they are staring at you. We also put a nativity on the fireplace and hung the stockings which are very big.  Then I put the holiday blankets on the couch.            

My mom also puts up a stocking Christmas day counter. You use it by moving the mini Christmas tree over each day in December until it is Christmas Eve. Another festive thing we do is set up the Santa hats on the backs of the chairs. On the landing we set up a scene of little woodland animals. They look very realistic, but they are not real. Then we put up many garlands around the house.                           

I have an advent calendar, which is so much fun because you don't know what you're going to get or see.  I put out tons of nutcrackers around the house because they are so cute.  My favorite is the teddy bear nutcracker. I have many Christmas blankets and throws so we can be cozy.      

My whole family watches Christmas movies almost every day in December because we just can't get enough of Christmas. I love to play two Christmas games on Christmas day.  The racing game, wind up toys, and get the ring on the antler. We also get a stocking with small gifts inside. It's mostly an ornament, socks, and some candy. The stocking is super fun because the gifts are random, and they're great gifts. Then we get funny Christmas glasses to wear,  and we sometimes have a cake called a Yule log.  The whole family has dinner, and then we sing Christmas carols.     

One tradition my family and I enjoy is when my family hits the Christmas pig! It's made out of peppermint candy! Everyone must eat a piece of the sugar pig for good luck in the new year.  Last but not least, My whole family  gets to open presents which is my favorite part of the day!

Terrible Disasters PART ONE by #Agent17

          There can be many disasters in the world worse than ours. But there have been a lot of terrible incidents that have happened in my city. Like snowing up to 3 feet! It’s happened to me before, and I couldn’t go to school. I’ll tell you the story. 

          I was fast asleep in my bed when I realized that it was snowing. My dad told me the day before that there was going to be 3 feet of snow, which I didn’t believe. A few minutes later my brother came into my room. “The snow is so high,” he said, “it can almost go up to my waist! Look outside!” I quickly went into my brother's room to check his window. I saw how much it’d snowed, but it still didn’t stop yet. 

        I then realized my mom and dad were outside plowing the snow. It was about 4:30. My parents were cleaning out the driveway and the passage from our porch so my mom could go to work. I felt really bad for them, so my brother and I tried to help.

       We grabbed some buckets and went out the back door. But, it was covered in snow. My brother was right. The snow was literally up to my waist. But that didn’t stop us. We started to use the bucket to scoop the snow and throw it out of the walkway. It didn’t really do much, but we didn’t stop trying. My mom saw us and told us to go inside but we didn’t. Determination kept us from stopping. But later we went back because we were tired. Then in the morning my parents told us we have no school. So we had to wait until the snow was completely removed from where the buses were.

        Other than snow, there were more terrible weather days. Like windy days. And you’re probably wondering, “How can wind be so bad? It’s not like it can do destruction.” Well it can. Wind can destroy a lot of things. I’ll tell you how the wind destroyed something I loved. It all happened in September.

My favorite hockey team by #Agent7

My favorite Hockey team is the Boston Bruins. I like the Bruins because they have my favorite players like Patrice Bergeron, Brad Marchand, and David Pastrnak. They also have won a lot of Stanley Cups. They have won 6 championships. They are also an original six team. What that means is they were one of the first six teams to join the National Hockey League. The Bruins play at TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts. Some famous players on the team are Bobby Orr, Ray Bourque, and Phil Esposito. A really famous play was made by Bobby Orr. The Bruins needed to score a goal if they wanted to win the Stanley Cup. Bobby Orr scored and someone tripped him, so he went flying like Superman. It was so famous that they even have a statue of it in front of TD Garden. It was the most famous play in Bruins’ history. The Bruins right now are doing very well. They have 20 wins and only 4 losses! When the playoffs come, I think the Bruins will get into the playoffs but I don’t think they will win the Stanley Cup. I myself have been to a couple games. They are very fun and exciting. That’s why my favorite hockey team is the Boston Bruins.

Women's rights! by #Agent4

       I think women’s rights are very important because it is affecting women’s lives in a bad way. In Iran, women are protesting because men are putting bags over their heads. On September 16th, a 22 year old lady, Mahsha Amini was murdered in police custody for wearing her hijab wrong. A hijab is a religious head covering. That is what sparked all the protests led by women. When women go out in public, they have to wear a hijab and if you wear it wrong like Mahsha, you could get arrested and maybe even killed. It hurts me to see that women are dying because of what men want them to wear. 

        Something I love to say is equal rights, equal fights! I don’t think it is fair that women in Iran have to wear a hijab whenever they go in public. Not only do they have to wear it in public, but they also have to wear it correctly. It isn’t just women in Iran, it’s women all over. Some don’t get paid or treated as equally as boys. Everyone thinks boys are so much more powerful and stronger than girls but have you seen Serena Williams lately? Some women are stronger than men. Those are some reasons I think women's rights are very important. 

                        

                                

My First Futsal Game by #Agent2

Futsal is a game based on soccer with a few differences. The game is played on a 130 feet by 65 feet basketball court with a small hard ball and a 10 feet by 6.5 feet goal. There are two 20-minute halves. I am on a futsal team with my club soccer teammates. Our first game was last Saturday. 

When we arrived at the game, I found my team. We warmed up on the court by stretching and passing the ball. Before the game, we asked the ref to explain some of the rules. I started on the bench for my team. Since substitutes are allowed at any time, I was able to enter the game quickly. Our team played a 1-2-1 formation, which means one defender, two midfielders, and one lone striker. To start, I played the lone striker position.  I loved playing the lone striker position because you get to pressure the opponents. The other team had better skills than us, but we passed well and controlled most of the game. 

While my teammate was dribbling up the sideline, I was wide open on the other side of the court, so I yelled for the ball. My teammate easily glided the ball from across the court to me. I took one touch, then blasted the ball into the corner of the goal. After my goal, I got subbed out to take a break. 

At halftime, our coach told us that we were playing well, but we needed to score a few more goals to secure the win. We started the second half by not playing as well. With about five minutes left, we were only down by one goal. We scored three goals in three minutes, so we were winning 9-8 with about two minutes left. Each team scored one more goal, and the final score was 10-9. We won! I was so excited that I won my first ever futsal game!

Winter time by #Agent14

I know that winter is not everyone's favorite time of year. But it is for sure mine. I love this time of year for many reasons. For example, the first reason that I love the winter time is my birthday because it is always a very fun time of year.  I just like turning to a new age and thinking that I am getting a little bit smarter and learning more about myself and the world by the day. The second reason that I love the winter time is because of Christmas. I love Christmas because it is such a wholesome time seeing my whole family all come together and have my cousin come home from college. The third reason that I love winter time is because I always make a snow track since we have a giant hill in my backyard. I always love making it and also riding it with my friends and family. The fourth and final reason is hot chocolate. I love hot chocolate. I would go as far to say that it is in my top 5 favorite drinks. I just love being cold and hugging my family and sitting by the fire and drinking none other than hot chocolate. That is why I think that winter is underrated.

My first basketball game by #Agent15

When I got there we were warming ups, doing layups and shooting. Also I made all my layups and swished two shots in a row. When the ref blew his whistle that meant to go to your bench because the game was starting. We were playing a D1 team, so we were supposed to lose and were in D2. I was first as the point guard, and my friend was doing the tip off. He lost, but we still got the ball because when he lost the other team missed the ball and we got it. I brought up the ball, and the coach said run O. That means motion offense, and I passed it to my teammate. He passed it back, and I scored! Then the other team brought  up the ball, and there was this kid that carried and got all the points in the first quarter. Then the next quarter my other teammates  were in, and I was riding the bench. We got some points  then signaling the end of the  3d quarter. I was in, and then the other team brought  up the ball. when the player got to half, he passed it to a anther person but he gave it back. I ripped it out of his hands and scored a layup.

W hat I learned about Ireland by #Agent5

One of my assignments in my class is to make a Google Slide presentation about a big question that can’t be answered with one Google search. So I decided to make one  on Ireland, and I learned a lot about Ireland. When I was researching about Ireland I learned that Ireland is a country in Western Europe, and about 15,000 years ago Ireland was completely covered in glaciers. When I was researching I also learned about what Irish people are known for. They are known for a lot of things, but I’m going to tell you some of them. Some of them are St. Patrick's day, shamrocks, and leprechauns. Also something that I found interesting is Hurling. Hurling is the national sport of Ireland, and it is over 3,000 years old. Hurling is considered the fastest and most skillful sport there is. Players can score by hitting a small ball into an H shaped goal post. 

I learned so many things about Ireland, and some of my favorite things that I learned were put on a fun facts slide. I think you will like some of the things that were interesting to me. One of those things was that in the Irish language a “BH” is pronounced as a V. For Example “cobh” is pronounced “cove”. My favorite out of all the things learned is the longest place name in Ireland is Muckanaghederdauhaulia.

The cabin in the woods by #Agent11

In the back of my backyard there is a big forest, full of lots of things like swamps, rivers, and even a train track in the back that is still used. Over the years my sister, friends, and I have made so much! We have constructed a fort and a bridge over a river. We found a very mysterious cabin. When I first found it, there were cans of soda all over the inside. It's like somebody had been living there. After I explored the cabin, it started to rain so I ran home.

One regular morning during summer vacation my sister asked if we could go see the cabin. “What cabin?” I was confused about what she was talking about. Then that memory of the cabin shot back into my head. We hiked back there to find out the cabin collapsed. It didn’t collapse completely, but it was closer to the ground than it used to be. Suddenly I saw a ladder on a tree that was about three feet tall. For some reason it led to nothing. To this day I still am confused about the cabin, and the ladder on the tree, and I don’t think I’lll ever find out about what it was used for and why. What are your thoughts about the cabin in the woods?

What I do for Christmas by #Agent12

My dad put up little hooks on the ceiling, so we could hang lights on the ceiling. We keep the hooks there all year, so we do not have to take them down or up again. We do take the lights down. Then we get a Christmas tree. We decorate it, and sometimes our elf will hide on it. I like putting the ornaments on the tree. My favorite ornament is a little doughnut because it is really cute and has glitter. My sister has a little lolly pop ornament that we always pretend to eat, but we do not actually!

We leave cookies and milk out for Santa. My family always hosts Christmas. My cousins will come over on Christmas Day. Before dinner we will go upstairs and play. We have our own little table when it is time for dinner. Sometimes we bring the toys under the table to play with. This Christmas I am getting an elf pet. It is an Arctic Fox, and I am getting it this Wednesday. I am probably going to name it, but I do not know what yet. 

I like Christmas, especially hanging out with my cousins and getting new things to play with. I enjoy being able to spend more time with family because I usually see them on Saturdays. Christmas is a special time of year for me.

The World Cup by #Agent20

The World Cup is a competition between every country in the world that was able to qualify to play in it. Some countries like France, Portugal, Argentina, or Brazil usually qualify for the World Cup because they are some of the better teams. However, this year there were some surprise teams that qualified like Ecuador, which isn’t very popular but made it in. This year Qatar is hosting the World Cup. The FIFA Congress decides where the World Cup will be held with a vote seven years in advance! 

We are currently in the “round of 16” in the competition, where six teams have already been eliminated. Those teams are: The United States, Senegal, Poland, Japan, South Korea and Australia. It was a big disappointment to see the U.S. get eliminated. Several other countries had been eliminated prior to “round of 16.”

Some of my favorite players who are in the World Cup are Lionel Messi, Christiano Ronaldo, and Neymar Jr. Messi plays for Argentina, Ronaldo plays for Portugal and Neymar plays for Brazil. Personally, I think Portugal will win because Ronaldo is famous for being one of the best soccer players in the world. 

I recently became interested in watching the World Cup on television because I play soccer, and I wanted to see professionals play the game. I have played soccer for about five years total, but this year I really improved and became more interested. It’s funny to see all of the fans dress up in support of their country. Some people color their hair and dress head to toe in their countries’ national colors.  I have watched the game during my free time even on the bus home from school. This past weekend I watched the World Cup with my friend Jackson. That was the game that caused the United States to get eliminated, so that wasn’t too much fun to see. Still, it was nice to watch the game with a friend and cheer on the U.S. 

In conclusion, the World Cup has been a fun thing to watch over the past few weeks alone and with family or friends. I’m looking forward to the finals which are on December 18th. I can’t wait to see who wins. 

My First Basketball Practice By #Agent1

My first basketball practice was super fun. Before we did anything, we got to know all the coaches and all my teammates. Then we started warming up in our layup lines. We did our second warm up drill, which was foul shots, corner shots, and 3 pointers. We did that for about 10 minutes while our coaches were talking about what we should do at the start of practice. Our coaches decided since it was our first practice we would play a fun game of knockout. So we did and I got second place, which I was happy about. After the knockout game we did a 5 on 5 scrimmage. During the scrimmage in total I scored 24 points, and the score at the end was 57 to 49, and my team won. After our scrimmage the coaches told us to get water while they talked again about what to do next. After our water break the coaches said we were going to do a foul shot competition. We split into 2 teams of 5. The other team was up by 2 points, and it was my turn to shoot. I have only 2 shots. I did my lucky foul dribble and spun the ball. I shot my first shot BOOM! I made my first shot. My second shot I did the same thing. BOOM! I made it in again. Then we played a game called horse at the end of practice. I'm looking forward to the next practice!
