Well, EVERYONE'S body is different.

An adult body has over 10 to the 27th power Atoms in their body.

The human body has many weird facts about it. Scientists are still trying to learn more about the human body. “There are 100,000 miles of blood vessels.”.

The human body is very extraordinary. Some bodies have one in a million diseases.

Diseases are things that happen to the body where it makes your body extremely different.

Some examples of your body being different are;  Dwarfism, is when your body is smaller than usual.  Ebola, is when you have blood clots. The Flu is extremely contagious. Okay, now we all know that there is such thing as ‘BIRTHMARK.” A birthmark is when you are born with a darker, or lighter spot on your face, legs, arms, or anywhere on your body areas. A birthmark is pretty common, so don’t be worried. They can be removed, or just covered up with like concealer or something. Do you ever wonder how the human body was perfected? Because I do too! God made everyone’s body. He put two people on Earth, Adam, and Eve.

And that’s basically how life started. Chimpanzees and monkeys also contributed to the job. They had children, that lost hair, and now are humans! This is why we have hair that keep obnoxiously growing back, we all hate it. The human body is definitely amazing, in some parts.  The human body has a heart, which keeps you alive, and three pulses, two in each wrists, and one on your neck. Those also keep you alive.

RAINBOW LOOM! by #akshaya22

Rainbow loom is something that allows you to create things like key chains, bracelets, rings etc. There are so many colors in the rainbow loom like pink, purple, blue, orange etc.  If you are wondering what rainbow loom is, they are little elastic bands that you can make things out of. Some people even know how to make animals and people out of rainbow loom. Only the people who are experts at rainbow loom can make them. So now let’s get onto the real fun.

Nowadays anybody can make things out of rainbow loom because it is easy and does not required any difficult skills as in the olden days. knowing how to use the bow and arrow and the bow-drill. Let’s now learn on how to use the rainbow loom tools. There is a tool that you can use to make a fishtail. And there is tool that you can use to lift the elastic bands.  

Be aware that you don’t have to be an expert at rainbow loom ,and  it is okay if you mess up. keep practicing and you will become an expert. You will learn from your mistakes that you made the first time and will keep improving. as they say “Mistakes are proof that you are trying…!!!!    

Another Game By #Samantha16

    

A while back sometime around November, I blogged about my favorite game Splatoon. So now I decided to blog about another game I like to play called Slime Rancher. You may have heard someone else mentioning this in their blog, but in this blog, Slime Rancher is the main focus.

Let’s start out with the main idea of the game. You are a human who has traveled 1,000 light years to a place known as the Far, Far Range. There are these creatures in the Far, Far Range called slimes. They are cute little blobs who jump around. You can collect them and they have a certain diet depending on which type of slime it is.

Now let’s quickly go over how you get money. When a slime eats, it poops out some sort of crystle-like gem called a plort. Like the diets, the appearance of a plort varies depending on the type of slime. You will notice that a lot, which makes it easier to tell what you’re looking at. Once you have a plort,  there is a machine you put the plort into. On the screen it shows the amount of money each plort will give you. The rarer the plort is, the more money you’ll get so keep an eye out for those exclusive slimes!

Your going to want to be careful with plorts though, because slimes can eat plorts and turn into largos. Largos are big slimes that look like two slimes merged together. They form when one slime eats a plort. It still looks like itself, but it also looks like the slime who pooped the plort. Although that’s nice, if it eats another plort something else happens…

The Tarr is formed when a largo eats a unique plort. It eats slimes and multiplys. So that makes largos risky.

So, that's the main idea of slime rancher. Slime Rancher is a great game and I recommend playing it!

rocking horse ranch by #owen14

Last year during spring break, I went to Rocking Horse Ranch. Rocking Horse Ranch is a place where you can ride horses and do other really fun stuff.  The main thing at Rocking Horse Ranch is horse riding. When you start your ride, they separate you into beginning, advanced, and intermediate. These are levels. They tell how many times you’ve rode a horse. Then you start your trail. When you finish your trail you are greeted by Ranglers to help you of your horse. It's a full horse-riding experience.

There is also a bunch of other activities to keep you entertained. One of them is a family kickball game. Another is a T.V.theme song trivia game. There is also very good dining. For breakfast they have a buffet full of pancakes, bacon, and fresh fruit. I would give it a five star rating even though the pancakes sometimes are as hard as a rock. For lunch they have another buffet including chicken nugget patty' , salads, and meats. I’d give a five star the food was always fresh and good. For dinner it was like a restaurant. It had a that included hot dogs, burgers, and salads. I would give it a 3 star rating because the food was average. That was my experience at Rocking Horse Ranch.

Have you ever wondered what homework 5th graders sometimes get for homework? by #angela5

Well in my class we get assigned one sheet of math homework 4 days a week.Those papers we get are usually getting reflect on what we have done in math class and/or what we did that day and just practicing it so we get better. Also we have to do a blog one week than and a reading letter the week after. Those two homework assignments repeat over and over again. The blogs are usually like this where you can write about anything you want. Then in the reading letter we have to write about what we are reading, what we like about the book so far, and also we have to answer question our teacher gives us on the letter she sends us back. My teacher is Ms. Freedman. She is really good at making us do our best at homework and class work. And we have to set up our letter like we our sending a letter to someone like a penpal. Than we have a mini research project that is called a DQ. And no I don’t mean Dairy Queen I mean discovery quest. A DQ is a part of our monthly homework. We get assigned a date to get it done by each month. We have to pick a topic with a question that can almost be anything you desire. After we finish the DQ we present it in front of our whole class and some parents that want to come in. I really like seeing other peoples DQ because I get to learn about things I never known even existed sometimes.

There are fears of birds. There are fears of spiders. but my fear is clowns. I mean think about it, a creepy creature in a mini car with makeup on. They are basically the definition of terrifying. They are the reason I can never enjoy a circus. Now please, let me show you my idea of a clown.

  First up the up name. If you think about it clown is just a way of saying

Creepy

Lunatic

Oh no

Weird

Nightmare

 It is obvious that clowns are the worst creatures ever!

 Next, the appearance of a clown. A clown has a big red nose that looks like it could take you out. It has a mini car that I think they use to run people over with. Thy have a grin that can hurt anyone by looking at it. They are TERRIFYING.

 

     Now why they make movies of them. The people who made movies and books of clowns like IT and other movies have a great explanation. They are trying to tell us that clowns are the worst things alive and that they are insanely evil.

My plan if I hear a clown is roaming around. I would stay in my room for the next 6 years. I would also take all the books from the library so that I can still read, and I would bring all the pets from shelters and pounds to my house so that they all will be safe. I’m pretty sure the people who work there won’t care because it is practically the clown apocalypse. Now please tell me, anyone, if you are reading this blog, never trust clowns.

THIS YEAR I HAD A GREAT EASTER!

First I had to stay in my room, until my parents woke up! They had to set everything up! So… Yeah… boring… THEN! I heard them, “You can come in NOW! I opened up my presents, and the first thing I saw, AN AMAZON ECHO DOT! And Resident Evil 5  On PS4 (obviously a remake, because the games launch was in year 2009 on the PS3) Then after we opened our baskets! We went to my UNCLE'S HOUSE to open MORE GIFTS because WHY NOT?

But before that we ate brunch! Munchkins, pancakes, and eggs! After that we then opened baskets from my grandma! She got me Skyrim for my Nintendo Switch,

This  Which is a game where you can use motion controls to sword fight! And it takes place  In medieval days! And not ONLY do you fight people, you can fight animals and creatures, like GIANTS!! And if you want to get a high bounty on you, then you can steal stuff and run away (like I do.) Trust me it’s Skyrim and in Skyrim Everything is LEGAL! Okay that’s not true, but you get what I mean!

I also got this game on Steam called Forced Showdown, but I haven’t activated the key. so I don’t know what it’s about yet. But i’d imagine that it’s a Mortal Kombat like game with 1v1 fighting.

How I Broke My Foot by #addy11

Today I am going to tell you about time I broke my foot. It all started one Saturday morning about three weeks ago. I was at karate we were doing box jumps, and when I was jumping back I twisted my ankle backwards and landed on it at the same time It felt like someone was stabbing me. I finished karate and went to the store and bought an ankle brace. I had the ankle brace on then iced my foot for a while I picked up the ice and my whole foot was black and blue. My dad had sent a picture to my mom, and she said she would be home in a few minutes and we would go to the hospital.

My mom got home and we went to the hospital. After an hour we got to the hospital and waited for about half an hour until the nurse checked me out. She said the doctor will  call me in for x-rays in fifteen to twenty minutes. Twenty minutes later I took the x-rays and got wheeled to a room. Fifteen minutes later I got my results ,and they said I had stretched my ankle and toe growth plates. They said they  were going to give me a half cast ,but it was like a normal cast where I can not put weight on it and can’t get it wet. They then put the half cast on. After the plaster dried I got crutches. I was a hot mess. I was swerving around everywhere. I thought it was going to be easy ,but it wasn’t.   Around 10:30 I got home and went to bed.

What Aggravates You the Most? by #jacob17

What aggravates you the most? For what aggravates me the most is when you do something once, but the you can’t do it again. So what I am going to do is explain why it aggravates me so much. Let’s get started on why that aggravates me.

The first reason it aggravates me is because when I was in my last hockey game I could of tied it if I got another hat-trick, but I did not. I have done it many times before. So that ended up being my last game of my season in the playoffs. Another reason is one time in the locker room I tried to bottle flip, so I tossed up the water bottle. It hit the bench then it bounced off the bench and landed on the floor. The next day at practice I tried again, but I could not do it. The final reason why it aggravates me is because I got a really good grade on a math test, and I can never get that score again. It was no easy test either, and when I had a even easier test I could not even get higher than that! Would you get aggravated if that happened to you? Do know those little marshmallow chicks? You would usually have them around Easter.

Well here is a little history about Peeps®️, the marshmallow company. Peeps®️ has been around for 65 years. In 1953, Just Born took over the Rodda Candy Company. The Rodda Candy Company was the original company to make the popular marshmallow chicks. Just Born also makes Mike and Ike®️, Hot Tamales®️, and Goldenberg’s®️ Peanut Chews®️.

Let’s get to the good stuff! There are 40 types of peeps. Anywhere from plain marshmallow to pancakes with syrup flavored marshmallows. And they also have mystery flavors. They even have holiday chicks for every holiday.

They don’t just have chicks, but bunnies for Easter too. They make different flavors and colors. The company also makes different shapes. For example, they have snowman for christmas and hearts for St. Valentine’s Day.

Now for some fun facts!

• When the company first started it took 27 hours to create one Peep. Now it takes six minutes all thanks to technology. Yay technology!
• In one year the Peeps®️ brand makes enough peeps to circle the world twice.
• In the late 1950’s they had wings clipped to the side of them.
• If you had 8,000 Peep Bunnies you could stack them, if gravity allows, and reach the top of the Willis, formerly known as Sears Tower, Tower.
• Chocolate dipped and covered Peeps were introduced in 2010 for Easter.
• The Just Born factory is in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.

Peeps are one of my favorite candies. They are a fun family tradition. We have tried many flavors including caramel apple. It was a green apple flavored Peep with caramel on the bottom. I liked putting them on top of my hot chocolate. Now that’s one sweet story!

I like animals, but I don’t like sharks, any living thing in the ocean, any wild animals, and kangaroos. I don’t like any animals, but I do like fish.

One animal I really don’t like is a bee because they sting you like a needle on you hand, and you do not want that feeling on your hand. Did you know that bees communicate by dancing?

Wolves communicate through body language, vocalizations, and their sense of smell. Vocalizations often take the form of howling, barking, or whimpering. Deer communicate by mostly through visual cues. They watch each other as they feed and move around. Deer wag their tails and move their heads in different ways depending on whether there is danger or not. Monkeys communicate through visual gestures and movements, sound, and smell. The most common form of communication amongst monkeys is the call, because the thick forest can make it difficult to see or smell other monkeys in the area. And those are some of the communicative animals I know about.

              Brown E Prank

Step 1: Cut out some E shaped pieces of paper.

Step 2: Color the paper Es brown

Step 3: Get a tray and put the “Brown Es” on it.

Step 4: Cover it with Tin Foil.

Step 5: Go to your friends with the tray, and ask if they want some “Brown Es”. Then if it is a yes open it up and say, “April Fools’!”.

Word Search Prank

Step 1: Make a word search with any topic, but make it impossible to make the words that you need to find (I would probably type the word search to make it more realistic).

Step 2: Make sure the word search doesn’t have spelling errors.

Step 3: Once it is all ready give it to your friends.

Step 4: After your friends start getting confused, and  they can’t find any words say, “April Fools’!”

  Tape Prank

Step 1: Get some tape and some of your friend’s belongings. NOTICE: This may make the person you are pranking upset!

Step 2: Tape your friends items together, but make sure the tape doesn’t show.

Step 3: Put the items in one spot where your friend will find them, but don’t make it to suspicious.

Step 4: When your friend goes over and tries to get one of the items of of the other say, “April Fools’!”.

Mac Vs. Windows by #alex8

Have you ever needed to buy a computer and didn’t know what to get? This blog will tell you what is better and why. So let’s get into it!

      MAC VS WINDOWS

Number One

Price

If you want a budget friendly computer Windows is the way to go. If you want slightly better computer and are willing to put in the extra money go for a Mac. The cheapest Windows computers go for around 200 dollars. The expensive Windows computers go for about five thousand dollars. The least expensive Mac starts at 500 dollars. The most expensive goes for around ten thousand dollars.

Stability and Crashes

This depends on how many gigabytes of RAM (RAM stands for Random Access Memory. RAM is like a small hard drive the computer puts random files on your Ram for quick access. The more RAM your computer has the faster your computer runs.). The cheaper computers usually have small amounts of RAM so they crash more.

Number 3

Viruses

Most companies use Windows computers. So hackers mostly make viruses for Windows. I think that Windows and Mac tie for security because they both have strong firewalls. According to Apple, “We designed macOS with advanced technologies that work together to constantly monitor, encrypt, update — and ultimately keep your Mac safer. And with macOS High Sierra available as a free upgrade, it’s easy to protect your Mac.” Microsoft says, “Windows 10 delivers comprehensive, built-in and ongoing security protections you can trust – including Windows Defender Antivirus, firewall, and more. By staying up to date, you’re assured of the latest features and protection.” Both are trustworthy and helpful.

Applications

Windows has more apps that you can download. You could probably find those apps from 3rd party sellers for Mac, but that is risky because you could download a virus. In the Apple app store for Mac they have a smaller range of apps. There are expensive apps on the Windows store for Xbox. After comparing the prices of the same apps on each store, I found that the apps are similarly priced, if not the same.
