Koda’s Diaries #4 by #agent3

Hi there, it's me Koda again. So my humans have not been feeling well this  week, but it doesn't stop them from taking me on walks especially when I sit on them. I got a new big bone this week and another treat that tastes like bacon. Boy do I love bacon! I spent most of the day today laying in bed watching over Maura. I also play this fun game with everyone where I chew on things that I'm not supposed to, and everyone tries to get it from me. I love this game. I play it as much as possible. I think I'm a world champion! I also love the game where I go in the backyard, and I try to eat squirrels! I am a champion at that game too! It's scary when their bombs fall off the trees and try to land on me. I try to eat them, and  then they blow up into the wind. My dad calls them leaves, but I have no idea what that is. They are sometimes brown or red or orange! I think the squirrels are up in the trees, and they are loading up their bombs and dog poison called… acorns! I can't eat them because they are bad for dogs just like chocolate, but I eat chocolate anyway. I would never eat an acorn though. They taste gross! I do not like them whatsoever! I am terrified of them too and grapes, chocolate and everything else I can't have! I hate not being able to have it. I have tried before, but I have not tried it since. I see some over on the table! I have to go bye!

Movie Night by #agent10

It was a good day. I went shopping, and once we got back home we put groceries away. I had lunch and went upstairs for a few minutes then I went downstairs and watched some TV. The day before we planned on what movie to watch. I wanted to watch Elf or Transformers, and The Last Knight. We didn’t watch that sadly. And I got the news that something bad happened, and I got sad. I called my cousin, and she got here in a few minutes and brought doughnuts and we watched Red Notice. We made popcorn, and my mom bought candy, including Reese's, Milk Duds, Junior Mints,Twix, and Peanut M & Ms  We also made hot chocolate.  The movie had The Rock, Ryan Reynolds, and Gal Gadot in it. There was a lot of action in Red Notice. It was even like the early 1900’s or late 1800’s car in the movie. There were explosives, and they had to jump out the car into a little pond. Ryan Reynolds looked for The Rock, and Gal Gadot was actually on the same team. They went on a boat, and Ryan Reynolds wanted revenge and he wanted them. I forgot the rest after the movie ended. My cousin had to leave, and I watched Avatar: The Last Airbender. And right when I stopped watching the fire nation was attacking, and I was sad I didn’t get to see that part yet. But I am sure he got on the ship and left with them, and I have not figured out what happened next.

My Lego Harry Potter World by #agent20

        Ever since I was in preschool I loved putting things together. One of my favorite activities is building Legos. By now, I have at least 120 Lego sets-some  Lego city, some creator, some Star Wars, and one Minecraft. But, my favorite lego line is Harry Potter. I got my first Harry Potter Lego for my 8th birthday, it was the Great Hall. Since then, I’ve gotten many more of them for my birthday, Christmas, and by saving up my money. If you like Harry Potter and Legos, this is the collection for you.

If you are interested in buying one, here is some information you might want to know. The ages range from 6+ to 18+. Prices range from $20(Room of Requirement) To $400 (Hogwarts Castle). The number of pieces goes up to 6020! I got the biggest one for Christmas last year, and I was very excited because I had been asking for it for three years. Then, I finished it in four days. I recommend starting with Aragog's Lair because it is one of the least expensive, and it has the least amount of pieces. Another fun set is the Hogwarts Express because it is fun to play with. Although it does not come with tracks, if you want you can add your own. I did that, and it looks amazing . 

If you have enough space and your parents let you leave out your sets, you can make your own “Harry Potter World.” If you buy one of the newer sets, it will say on the box if it comes with a”golden,” Lego Harry Potter 20th anniversary minifigure. So, Accio Lego!(summon lego)

What I did on the weekend by #agent8

For my blog I chose to write about what I did on the weekend. On the weekend I went to my dad's store. At my dad’s store I used my phone for a bit. Then, I helped my parents with making the food and other stuff. After that, I made my sisters and I a sandwich. We went outside to eat it. Then, I was just sitting there because it was nice out. I also went skateboarding because I was bored. Next, I went inside and helped my mom. Next, I played heads up with my siblings. We were fighting for who was going to go first. After that, it was time to go home, so I helped my mom pack everything. Then, my whole family went to Dollar Tree because my sister needed a poster board for school. I also got a few things. Then, we went home. My sister and I went outside and had a skateboard race, played with a soccer ball, and went on the swings. After that, we went inside and used our phones. I also played with my other sister. We stayed up late because there was no school on Sunday. On Sunday I did the exact same thing.

Loom Bracelets by #agent18

Loom bracelets are tiny rubber bands that you tie together to make bracelets, necklaces, rings and also charms. I think there are more things to make, but I only know those four. I bought a kit, so I can make different types of bracelets. I can make hexafish and fishtail bracelets and so much more like basic super bracelets, starburst, and a single bracelet. There are also different patterns that you can create on the bracelets like a heart, a letter, a zigzag, and more. You would need a clip so you can connect the two sides of the bracelet to complete the bracelet. There are two clips the s and the c. The s has a hook at the top and another at the bottom. The c is turned to look like a smiley face and has two hooks at the top. The small rubber bands come in so many different colors. I have a rainbow set that comes with all the colors of the rainbow, two hooks, and clips. I also have a neon kit that “includes a double-wide loom, 6 prong looms, 2 hooks, 2,200 latex free rubber bands.”  The colors are neon light pink, dark pink, orange, yellow, light green, purple, blue, clear, white, black, red, and teal. The kit also includes “3 plastic clips and project guide." I love making bracelets with my kit.

Who will you be in 10 years? By #Agent12

Who do you think you will be in ten years? Who will you become as a person, and what do you think the world will be like? In ten years time, I will be twenty years old. I will be in my third year of college studying to become a teacher. I will be studying at Emerson College in Boston. I will be living in an apartment near campus, with a few friends! I'll be dreaming about my classroom in five more years. One day I would love to be an elementary school teacher. I’m going to meet new people and get handed many opportunities to grow. And hopefully I am still in touch with my amazing friends! My parents will come visit me, and we will have more fun times like going for lunch and watching movies together. My brother will probably be coming up with some cool invention, or maybe even be taking over my parents business. When I'm older I will also have a yorkie. I love dogs, so maybe someday I will have a dog! I hope for flying cars to be invented by then, since ideas like this are already being invented!

Episode 4 Pumpkin is Really Crazy! by #agent6

It has been 6 weeks since we got Pumpkin. It is crazy how fast he is. He is growing and gaining weight from eating all of Ellie’s food. This week he started trying to go under the couch. When he gets stuck, we have to lift the couch to get him out. We had to jam blankets under the couch so he would not go in. He climbs the screen on our back door like Spiderman, and he is feisty. Sometimes when Ellie is chilling Pumpkin attacks her and jumps over her like a hurdle.

Tis, too soon by #agent2

People all over the world are starting to celebrate Christmas. I think it is early because Thanksgiving hasn’t even started yet! Christmas commercials, decorations in stores, and decorations on houses are just a few reasons why, and I’m sure there are many more. Some people would disagree with me because they think “tis, the season,” but we still have 37 days! If you go to a store looking for Thanksgiving decorations you’ll find Christmas decorations. I think Thanksgiving deserves a little love. There are  lots of countdowns for Christmas, but are there any for Thanksgiving, NO! It's the same with songs. Maybe there is a Macy’s Day Parade tune, but that’s about it. If you celebrate Christmas I'm sure you like it, which I do too, but I also like Thanksgiving! My neighbor put their tree up right after Halloween, and I’m going to put mine up a few days before Christmas! People can say merry Christmas, but I am going to stick with happy Thanksgiving until it is actually an appropriate time to say the words. This is my reasoning as to why it is “tis, too soon” and of how we should pay a little more attention to Thanksgiving than Christmas, especially when there are 37 days until Rudolph and St. Nick comes to drop off presents.

Extinct Animals by #agent1

Today I am going to talk about endangered and extinct animals. Did you know that there are over 41,000 endangered species and 16,306 of them are almost extinct? This is a major problem. The endangered species keep growing and growing every day. For a species of animals to become normal again, it takes 10 million years. 

Extinction is a major problem. Over 99 percent of the four billion animals are extinct. It is impossible for these animals to go back to their part of the food chain. The more extinct animals we have the less chance of the earth and humans have to survive. In order for humans to live we need food, water, and shelter. With all the animals going extinct, the earth dying, and the ever growing population of humans there is just not enough of this to support everyone. We need to make some changes or else this world isn’t going to last as long as we think. If we pick up our trash, stop cutting down the forests, stop abandoning animals, and stop illegally killing animals then we can save the world and all animals! We need people to realize this, so I say we make the changes we need to in order to save all living things!

My Busy Week by #agent17

    Let me tell you about my busy week. So first I had a birthday party at Urban Air. The party started at 5pm, and it went to 8pm. We jumped on trampolines, rode the zipline, and played some games. It ended with us having cake and pizza, and then we got a goody bag that had a bunch of fidgets in it. The next day my little brother had to get surgery.  My mom and dad brought him to the hospital in Boston at 7:30am.  They had to sit in the waiting room for a long time because the nurses and doctors were not ready for him. The surgery went well ,and surprisingly it only took 30 minutes. But they didn’t get home until 3:30pm. My older brother and I were at a dentist appointment when they got home. When we got home from that he was lying on the couch resting because he was tired. On Saturday I went to my older brother's championship flag football game. My younger brother had to sit in a stroller because he was supposed to rest.  They won the championship. On Sunday my cousins and grandparents came over to celebrate my younger brother's birthday. He turned 7! We decorated one of our Christmas trees that is fake with them. This was a really busy weekend, and I'm glad it's over and my little brother is ok.

Watching the dogs by #agent21

Last week on Thursday my neighbors went away to a wedding. They have two dogs, and my family had to watch them. The dogs' names are Cashew and Clara. Clara is around five years old, and Cashew is around seven to eight months old. As you can see Clara is more chill but Cashew… I’d say he is much, much crazier. We watched them for four days all day long. My other neighbor luckily could take one for the night. Every night we had Cashew because he sleeps in a crate not in someone's bed. I have to tell you that I’ve never seen Cashew settled down and actually relaxing. I thought that it was going to be a mess with him, but once he had a good two to five hours of straight playing he laid down and slept. Pepper, who is my dog, loves Cashew and Clara. One of Pepper’s best friends, Zuzu, came over a lot when we had them. I figured out that Zuzu does not like playing with other dogs, and she would much rather play with people. Clara is very chill, and when she was over Pepper went along with her role and sat on the couch looking out the window all day long. On the other hand when Cashew is over all they do is play. No resting aloud. Overall I had a great time with the dogs, and I hope we get to watch them again one day.

Covid-19 Vaccine by #agent9

On Sunday I got the first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine. I was very nervous because I do not like shots. I have always been scared of shots. They always hurt so much. I always scooch away from the nurse. This time there was this thing called a shotblocker. What it did was give you a little pinch, and when the shot got in you, you barely felt anything. When my sister and I left the building we had to wait 30 minutes in the car. I think it was to see if we had any side effects. Luckily we had no side effects. After the 30 minutes was up we ordered lunch. My dad said, “Since you two got the shots you chose together.” He was talking about me and my sister. We could not agree on what to do. She wanted to get Mooyah, but I wanted to get food from home. What we finally agreed on was that we would get some food at Mooyah, and I would get some food from home. I got some fries at Mooyah, and my sister got a hot dog. When we got home I had the other half of my lunch, and my arm was really sore. I really like the sore feeling in my arm, but I did not move it that much. In the morning I felt no soreness. I was so upset because I love the sore feeling in your arm. It relaxes me. I think it was because of the shotblocker.

Outdoor Play by #agent5

When you are playing outside there are multiple things to do. Even if it is winter, spring, fall, or summer you can still have fun outside. In the ice and snow season, winter, you can use the snow and ice for various things such as snowball fights, sledding, building snowmen, etc. For a snowball fight you use balls of snow to attack another person. Some people build forts in snow ball fights. Some just do it for fun while others get competitive in elimination. Sledding is very fun, but you need a sled to do it. In sledding you find a hill, or you could make one, and either put the sled on your belly and jump near the edge of the hill or put the sled down near the edge and jump on it. In the rainy season of spring you can jump in puddles. . . and get dirty or wet. Jumping in puddles is exclusive to spring because in spring is the only time of which the land is not covered by objects, so the puddles are excellent to jump in. In the sweat and sun month, summer, you can do lots of things outside. One of the things you can do is get on wheels and glide to places fast and in a fun way. Some wheels you could get on are roller skates, bikes, and scooters. Another thing you can do in summer is go swimming. Swimming in my opinion is very fun because it is like zero gravity. You just float, and you can move any which way you want. In fall you can jump in a pile of leaves. This is fun because it makes you create a pile of leaves and then ruin it. What will you do outside next?

Middle School Theories with AAB by #agent4

  Hi! And welcome back to AAB! Today I’m giving you an introduction to middle school! You might be thinking: UGHHHH! I don’t need this, I already passed it, or I’m not even in middle school. But, I think it is important to understand someone’s point of view on something. Even though I’m not in middle school, I am still going to say what I think middle school is about. But one thing’s for sure, middle school is NOT a movie. When I watch a movie, and the main character is in middle school, they always make it seem like middle school is one big hunk of nightmare. But this is not true. Sure there are bigger kids in middle school, but there are not these big bullies that walk around giving people the stink eye and taking their lunch money. They might be troubled, or just having a bad day, but they are taken for granted on how they look, in movies or not. Another thing that happens in movies is there’s always someone who is popular and so cool. By now I’ve learned that people look cool and calm on the outside. Inside, they're probably freaking out being like: Ohmygod is my hair nice? Is this a good outfit to wear today? Will my friends ditch me? Should I ask them out? Are we dating? Blah blah blah. Unfortunately, this mostly happens with girls.One thing movies don’t show at all is the freedom you have; no more lines to classes, you have more responsibilities, and you are trusted more. So that’s what I think middle school is about. I hope you understand now why I wrote this and take this into account.

Google Forms Review by #agent13

 This blog I am going to rate Google Forms. Google Forms is used all over the world for work, school, even tests! But there are a couple problems. First I have had this happen to me, and let me tell you it makes you MAD. So let's say there was a question that said what is 4x2. It is 8 right? Well if I type 8 but put a space after it, it will mark it wrong! CRAZY right? But there are good things too. Like when you post an assignment on Google Classroom through Google Forms it will work! It is easy for adults to make but not so easy for kids to make a form. One of the things that I love is when you submit the form, it will give you your score immediately! I remember in past years when we didn’t use Google Forms I was so anxious to find my score! Also it is so much easier for me to type than to write with a pencil! I love typing so much, and I am sure other kids do too. You can also get Google Forms on any computer like a Mac! That is why I think Google Forms is a great learning tool for everyone.

An Open Letter to Jeff Kinney by #agent16

Dear Jeff Kinney,

I really like your books, especially the Meltdown or Hard Luck. Whenever I am mad or want to let my feelings out I read Hard Luck, and I feel like I am in the book with the characters acting. I jump up and down, I laugh, I giggle, and that's why I really like your books. In class whenever I do a Flipgrid (It is a short couple minute video, I always read a copy of your books. The words you put into it makes me want to buy your new book Big shot. It sounds like it is a book that someone takes an attempt at. It sounds like Cabin Fever, Last Stream, Dog Days, Deep End and even Wrecking Ball. My favorite part in Hard Luck is when Manny keeps on drawing random stuff on papers, and their relatives were just buying his stuff but not Greg. The part I was laughing at was when Greg was taking a shower and two kids found him and were taking pictures of him in the shower. A part that I dislike is (I think it’s the Getaway I’m not sure) when Greg was playing tennis he told the crowd why they couldn't do something, and he explained that it was Manny. But they still blamed it on Greg because they were family. But anything besides that was really good. And I also have a question for you. What was your favorite book and why? And what was your inspiration?

My dream pet by #agent22

 This blog is about my dream pet. My dream pet is a sugar glider, also known as a flying squirrel. I have wanted one since I was five years old. One of the reasons why I want one is because I really love the way they glide, and I think they are such fascinating animals. I don't talk about them a lot mainly because I know that not everybody likes them. I think they are such underrated  animals. I think they're also very cute. In Massachusetts you actually have to have a special type of permit to get a sugar glider and keep it as a pet. It is illegal to keep one in Alaska and California. Sugar gliders are also very sensitive  animals. Normally to have one you can't have any other household pet in your house other than another sugar glider because they can disturb a sugar glider and make them uncomfortable inside your household. Sugar gliders love to be held, and they're actually really easy to train. Most of the time you can train them to fly into certain spaces. That's mainly why I really really want one. I love training my dog, and I want to start training other animals, specifically sugar gliders. They are very playful and energetic and need a lot of time outside of their cage and cannot normally be alone inside the house for more than five hours. They need a lot of attention and care. However I still want one. And that's why a sugar glider is my dream pet.

The Amazing Author Jake Maddox

 My favorite author is Jake Maddox because he writes about sports books, and I love to read sports books. The reason why I love his books is because it talks about how there is a problem and then a solution. And they have about 9,10 or maybe even 11 chapters in the book. That’s why every time you hold the book it doesn’t feel really heavy. Most of his books are about how girls need to practice something they are not really good at.  If friends want to do fun stuff instead of  practicing  then they say no I want to practice instead. If you are wondering where I found these books, they are in the school library. Every Wednesday we go at the end of the day. It’s right next to the entrance to the door on the highest shelf. The books are on the side of the book shelf. It's to your left. The book I’m reading right now by Jake Maddox is called Soccer Show- Off. It is about a girl joining a new soccer team, but then she has a problem passing the ball to her teammates. I noticed that sometimes the author chooses the same sport, he sometimes chooses a different character. I recommend you to read his books because some people like to read sports books.

Peppermint Bark Review by #agent11

I went out and bought a few packs of peppermint bark, and I am going to rate them from 1 to 10. Let's get to the ratings! 

Peppermint Bark #1 Target brand. 

I kind of liked this bark, but it wasn’t the best I’ve ever had. The reason I didn’t really like it was because it was so big. We had to cut it, and it crumbled. Which didn’t make it very good. I will rate this 6.5/10. 

Bark #2 Costco brand. 

This peppermint bark is super delicious because it is the perfect size and tastes really good. I would rate this peppermint bark 8/10. 

#3 Lindt. 

This was NOT GOOD. It was all white chocolate, which I HATE! This was the worst bark I’ve ever had. I rate it 1/10 GROSS! 

Next is Ghirardelli. 

This was good, but one negative is it has no crunch. I think every good peppermint bark has to have some crunch. Other than that it is perfect. I’m going to rate this 9.25/10. 

The final bark is Hilliards. 

I did not like this one at all. It was gross. It also tasted funky, and it was really hard. I will rate this one .00075/10. 

Alright, let’s wrap things up with the standings. In last we have Hilliards with a score of .00075/10. In fourth we have Lindt with 1/10. In third we have Target brand with a 6.5/10. In second place we have Costco with 8/10. Now the time you’ve been waiting for. In first we have Ghirardelli with 9.25/10! That wraps up this blog, see you in the next one.

Middle School Hockey by #agent23

 Middle school hockey is a lot of fun. I like middle school hockey because you can have a lot of fun playing with your friends. Many kids who want to play hockey don't have a chance to because of time or their parents don't really want to deal with the driving. I think for those kids they should play middle school hockey. It is a good place to play hockey with your friends and meet new kids. In this league it doesn't matter if you win or lose, it just for the kids to have fun. A few things you should know are that sometimes the games run super late. We recently had a game that ended at 10:20 PM. Many of the kids that make the team are not very good, so the pressure to be great is not very high. I think that is good so the kids don't stress about it and have more pleasure playing it. There are a few things you should know; you do sometimes travel, there might be kids older than you, and the kids on the team are nice. You don't have to try out for this team; you show up to games every Friday or Sunday night and that's it. It is lots of fun. I hope I see you out there.

Hockey with my dad by #agent15

 For the last two years I went to a hockey game with my dad. It was not just any ordinary hockey game. It was a Bruins game! We take the train. The ride was really long because there were so many stops. When we got to our destination we went up a bunch of staircases and headed to the registration desk. We needed to show our phones, which had the tickets on them. Because of Covid the venue only has mobile ticketing. Our tickets did not work. I was annoyed. The lady up front came over and told us it was an invalid ticket. My dad called the place where he got the tickets, and we waited for what felt like forever. We asked her to scan it again, but it did not work. We had to make another phone call to get a new ticket. We had success! My dad and I went to the main concourse and headed to our seats. We sat down for half the game. The Bruins were tied 2-2. Following half time a man and woman were heading to our seats. We had the same tickets! Thankfully there were seats in front of us open. We watched the rest of the game, and the Bruins won 3-2. I like watching hockey games. The back and forth action is very entertaining. There were even a couple of fights and some big hits. Hopefully my dad and I go again next year and have a great time.

Animals by #agent14

I love animals. They are great. They help the environment, and some of them can be domesticated. Though some animals are mean. There are also very dangerous animals like: venomous snakes, sharks, crocodiles, alligators, spiders, scorpions, hippos, box jellyfish, and poison frogs. There aren't only mean animals. There are also nice animals such as: capybara, dogs, dolphins, cats, rabbits, giant panda, horse, and sheep. Animals are amazing. Sometimes I wonder what it would be like to be an animal. If I could be any animal I would probably be a bird. I would be a bird because it would be amazing to be able to fly. If I could fly, the first place I would go would be Paris, France. I do not know why, but all my life I have always wanted to go to Paris, France. Back to talking about animals, I think the most amazing animal in the world is the blue dragon. The blue dragon is also known as the sea swallow or blue angel. The blue glaucus is a species of brightly colored sea slug. Even though it is a sea slug and I hate slugs, I still think it is the most amazing animal.

Cooking Class by #agent19

Over the weekend my girl scout troop and I took a cooking class. It was so much fun. We made three things, and then we got to eat it at the end.  The three things we made were fresh homemade pasta, homemade marinara sauce, and homemade cannoli filling. There were ten of us, and we were split into two teams. Our group was called The Dangerous Gummy Bears. Each team got to pick what was in their cannoli filling and what was in their sauce. We chose marinara sauce, basil, and oregano for the pasta sauce. For the cannoli filling we picked chocolate chips and sprinkles! The first thing we made was the pasta dough. We had to knead the pasta dough for a while, but it was worth it! After we needed the dough we had to let it sit for a while, so we started on the cannoli filling. The filling was only a couple ingredients. It was cream cheese, ricotta cheese, powdered sugar, vanilla, and orange zest for extra taste. After we made the filling, we put it in a piping bag and put it in the fridge. The next step was to make the marinara sauce. We all did a different part. I grated and put in the secret… carrots! I learned that carrots make the sauce sweeter. Once we added all of the ingredients, we let the sauce simmer on the stove for about thirty minutes. The last thing we did was flatten the pasta dough and make it into fettuccine noodles with this cool machine. After that we got to enjoy all of our extremely delicious, hard work. I hope I can go there again and make something different.

Halloween night by #agent10

On Halloween we went to my friend’s house. WE got ready, played a little bit, then before we left. WE went to the first house, and they gave us XL HERSEY BARS! We talked to them a little bit, and we went to the others houses. It was really fun. We got done with that neighborhood, so we went to another his. He got better and was able to go to the houses and kept telling his younger cousin and his friend TO STOP GOING ON THE GRASS! They did not listen. Some of my friends there were going to houses before us and getting candy twice in the neighborhood. It was so fun. We went over to the sidewalk on the grass. My friend fell and tripped on a wire, so I went to some houses and got candy for him. And We kept going around. We got so much king size candy. like M&M, Snickers peanut butter, and sour Skittles. My non king size is Snickers, Kit Kat, Milky Way, 3 Musketeers, and probably more.  When done, m mom got her car. My friend and I traded  ONE PIECE. Then his step dad came. And he left. I ate so much. I had too much energy. And that was also the night my older brother left for college. My other older brother wanted to trade only for my XL Hershey bar for Oreos and I declined. Before we had dinner my cousin had to leave.

 Hey! It's Koda again, and I'm so happy I got treats. Also they are called…wellll I don't know what they are called, but that's ok they are soooo good. When I eat them I feel like I’m in heaven. They are the best in the world. Oh also I got cheese! It’s my favorite food! It's so good when I see it on a plate, I just steal it off of it! It’s so good, but I also like hotdogs, cheese burgers, vegetables, apple slices, rice, chicken and also crackers! I pretty much like everything! That's ok! I was chasing a chipmunk the other day, and I scared it so bad it got trapped under some wood. I was trying to eat it! My mom and Maura dragged my dirty butt back in the house and helped it escape. I was really mad!  I almost trapped it again and ate it, but then mom caught me and yelled at me. Don't get me wrong, she is the best mom ever and I love her, but sometimes she can be NO fun. That's ok though because I am VERY spoiled. I am so spoiled that I got my own burger from McDonalds with nothing on it and my own ice cream cone once too! Well I have to go, it's getting cold outside! Bye!

All about Legendary Ellie by #agent6

Legendary Ellie came to my family in the summer of 2017. She lived with another family who moved and gave us Ellie or as they called her Tessie. When we got her she hid under my bed for a while with her food and litter box. Ellie became my friend very fast. She sleeps with me every night, and if you come over you will know she loves to sniff feet. Ellie eats lots of varieties of food and loves treats. I like to dress up Ellie in her hat with flaps, lion hat, unicorn hat, and her hotdog outfit. She doesn't like it! Ellie is very lazy sometimes, but she can fight. When we got Pumpkin, Ellie hissed and did not know what was going on. Now Pumpkin messes with Ellie by hurdling her, swatting at her, and other craziness. When Pumpkin does that Ellie will swat and never hurts him. and Pumpkin acts tough but in the end Ellie always wins!

My Upcoming Weekend by #agent15

 Today I will be talking about what I am doing this upcoming weekend.  This is my last weekend being ten years old. My birthday is Monday, November 8th, so this weekend we are going to have a Halloween/birthday party. I invited my friends from the football team and my cousins to come celebrate my birthday. My dad and neighbor are planning out a haunted path last. The year was scary, so I bet this one will be too.  I am going to dress up for my party. I am going to dress up as a killer clown, I hope my teammates dress up too. Maybe their costumes will be super funny, I can’t wait to find out.  On Sunday we are going to my Franny and Poppa’s house to have birthday dinner. I can’t wait for my gifts!  On my birthday my mom sets up my gift and hangs a “Happy Birthday” sign in the kitchen, and I get to pick my breakfast. This year I picked an egg sandwich and hash browns from Dunkin Donuts. Then at school I am going to bring my Birthday book as a gift to my classmates. I hope everyone likes the book I bring! This is going to be the best weekend ever!

Trick or Treating by #agent19

Every year my neighbors and I go trick or treating on Halloween. I’ve alway wanted to dress my dog up for Halloween, so my grandma and I made my dog a four leaf clover costume for him before we headed out to my neighbors. I have a LOT of kids in my neighborhood. There are kids that are in college and a little girl that was born 7 weeks ago. But only the kids trick or treat, not the teenagers. We started off by having a little party before we headed out into the neighborhood. We had pizza, mac and cheese, fruit, and chicken for dinner. After about an hour, we all got ready and headed out for some fun. We started off by going in my neighborhood. My neighborhood has two different streets that are attached. We started off at one side and made our way down to the other side. Some people were running, so we met up with them in different directions. But my friend Audrey and I were M&Ms together, so we stayed with each other the whole time. After we did my street we did another street that is around the corner. When we got to that street almost all of my neighbors went ahead besides me, Audrey, and my five year old neighbor. We were going as “ The M&Ms and the cop” because my 5 year old neighbor was a cop, and we were M&Ms! Once we went to all of the houses on that street, we all headed home. I love trick or treating. I wonder what I will be next year?

How to make homemade tater tots by #agent8

I chose to do my blog about how you can make homemade tater tots and how they are the best tater tots. First, get some potatoes and peel them. Then, put them in cold water, and boil it till a knife can stick through it. It might take around twenty minutes. Next, take them out and wash it with cold water so you can handle them. After that, shred it, make sure it is dry. Add one tablespoon of flour, and if you need more add it. For two potatoes you will have to add one tablespoon. Add flavorings. You can add anything you want, but a few things I prefer are salt, pepper and garlic powder. Make it into a tater tot shape. Fry them until it is golden and eat them. I like it because you can add whatever you want to make it good, and delicious. You can also make sauces with it to make it taste good or you can just eat it plain.  This tater tot recipe is one of my favorites. I think you will like it too, so I hope you try it out sometime.

Big Shot by #agent9

I had just got the new Diary of a Wimpy Kid book, Big Shot. When I got home from the book store I was so excited to read it. Unfortunately I was in the middle of another book! I never pause one book and go to another. I am reading Isabel Feeney Star Reporter right now. What made Big Shot look so interesting was that the book cover looked like a used up dirty pinnie. After flipping through some pages, I saw a page that had the pyramids. Is this page an ad to go to Egypt? On the cover, Greg is sitting in a basketball hoop wearing one ice skate and one cleat, while twirling a soccer ball and holding a hockey stick. I wonder what sport is the Big Shot about? After reading the back cover I discovered that Greg gives up sports easily, and his Mom forces him to play basketball. Greg surprises himself when he makes the team. From all the past books I read Greg will probably have a hard time. I should finish up Isabel Feeney soon, and I will be so excited to read Big Shot. I am excited to start the 16th book in the Diary of a Wimpy Kid series.

How to make Pumpkin Muffins By #agent7

Today I’m going to teach you how to make Pumpkin Muffins. My mom made these because it’s fall, and that’s when it starts to get cold. You can even eat this for breakfast or after dinner if you want. Let’s get started on how to make the Pumpkin Muffins.

Ingredients: 

1 ½ cup of flour

1 teaspoon of baking soda

½ teaspoon of baking powder

½ teaspoon of salt

 1 ½ teaspoons of cinnamon

 ½ teaspoon of allspice

 ¼ teaspoon of ground ginger

 ¼ teaspoon of nutmeg

 2 large eggs

 ¼ cup of brown sugar

 ¼ of white sugar

 ½ of brown sugar and ½ of white sugar

 ¼ cup whole milk

 1¼ cup of  pumpkin puree

 ½ cup of vegetable oil

 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

Mix all the ingredients together.

  Then get a cupcake baking tray. And add the cupcake paper in each section. Fill each cupcake paper with the cake mix. Bake the muffin for 5 mins at 425 F. Then reduce the temperature to 325 F for an additional 15 mins. Here’s a picture of the pumpkin muffins in the tray before they are in the oven.

Paper mache donuts by #agent18

In art class we started making paper mache donuts. According to Google “Paper mache is a combination of paper and clay. Paper mache also creates three-dimensional projects by combining paper with a strong glue and drying it into a sturdy shell. Paper mache takes the form of whichever object you've used to shape it when wet.” also as it dries it forms and looks like clay.  First we had to use two sheets of paper and roll them then crumple them and wrap the papers around our hand. And then cover the whole thing in tape. I liked that part. It was fun putting all the tape on the paper donut. I bet the whole school used enough tape to make a whole tape house  including tape furniture. That would look really interesting. After that we are going to paint the paper donut a donut color as in maybe peach, brown, and tan. I might do mine a nice peach color. Then we will cover it in paper mache. You can then decorate them in any way we want, we will use  fake fudge and glaze sprinkles and so much more fun things. After that we will let it dry so all the paint and other things/decorations harden . Once we are done I will have mine placed in my room on the drawer/desk next to my bed displayed I. am so excited for our next project in art.

The Day Off by #agent21

October 27, 2021 was an amazing day, a day off. I had the day off from school last week.  When I tell you I had fun, I really had fun. It was so rainy that school got canceled! Personally I was very excited. I woke up early in the morning, and said to my mom, “I am going to be late for the bus. I need to get ready!” She replied, “You should go back to bed, school got canceled.” I was so surprised that I had a random day off. I then went back to bed. When I woke up later my two friends, who are also my neighbors, came over. First my brother ordered KFC. It was so much food that we needed two tables to fit it on. While we were eating we watched a movie, and then we made a giant fort. From there we wanted to do our own thing in the fort, so we each played on our iPads. We were falling asleep when one of my friends invited us over to her house. I did a lot of lazing around and lots of sleeping.  I had so much fun with them. I hope we can do it another day in future and have this much fun. If you have a day off from school or work, take advantage of it.

From My Dog's Perspective by #agent22

 This blog is about what it would be like if my dog wrote a blog.

Hi my name is Sypha, and this is how my day went. First I woke up and went to eat. After that I wanted to go play outside but Kyla was too busy, so I went back to sleep. After about an hour I got bored, so I decided to go on an adventure. I snuck out of my cage into the backyard where I went to hang out with my horse friend, Besman. I was chasing him, and I thought we were having fun. Kyla and her mom came out and I got in trouble just because I was playing with my friend! After that I went back home, and Kyla finally played with me! I was very excited. We played fetch and my favorite game where Kyla throws a stick into the woods and I have to go get it. When I do it I get a treat. After we played for like a half an hour we went back inside, and I ate and drank some water. My family ate because it was their dinner time too.  I barked at the little dog. I think his name is Panacho but I forgot, and I decided to go back to sleep. I woke up at midnight and then barked  for about five minutes to wake up the whole house but, because I was sleeping in Kayla's room she got mad at me but took me outside because I had to go to the bathroom, I went back into Kyla’s bedroom to sleep, and started it over again.

The Deathly Hallows by #agent14

This book starts with Harry at the Dursley’s, and to escape before the protection that his mother gave dies. When she sacrificed her life it left a mark and that protection goes away when he comes of age. So the Order Of the Phoenix, which is an organization to fight Voldemort, comes and has a plan to get Harry to the Weasleys. The plan is that they are going to use polyjuice potion to make other people look like Harry, so they will not know which one is the real Harry. Once Harry gets to the burrow he learns that Bill, the eldest Weasley, is getting married.So  they have to prepare for the wedding. Once the death eaters take over the ministry of magic they go to the burrow during the wedding and attack. Luckily Harry, Ron, and Hermione escape to the muggle world. And then they go to destroy horcruxes. Then they get to the last two horcruxes: the Ravenclaw Diadem and Nagini, Voldemort's snake. They go to Hogwarts and get to the Battle Of Hogwarts, and a huge battle commences. At the end Harry ends up  killing Voldemort, and he goes on to live a happy life. He marries Ginny and has three children named Lily Luna Potter, James Sirius Potter, and Albus Serverus Potter. The last line in the book is “ The scar had not pained Harry for 19 years. All was well”.There is also a book called The Cursed Child which is technically a real book to the series, but in my opinion the book does not honor the original series.

Electricity is a very useful part of our lives. From the first electric device being the Relay to the new iPhone 13 electricity is very useful. Think about this, have you ever lost power? Well if you have you know that a lot of things turn off, and everything is dark. This is because lots of important things in our daily lives are based on electricity; air conditioning, lighting, appliances, tv, and of course the internet. These things use electricity in different ways.  Air conditioning uses electricity to extract cold air from outside and bring it inside. Lighting uses electricity for making light so you can see. Appliances use electricity for different things such as cooking, keeping things cold, washing things, and mixing things. TV uses electricity to give you shows and news. The internet uses electricity to connect you to the digital world to be with other people online to chat, play games together, and have fun. Other things use electricity such as the device you are using to read this right now, video games, and most clocks. Relays are electrically operated switches that open and close the circuits by receiving electrical signals from outside sources. The new iPhone is a device that you can call people on and text. Did you know that Benjamin Franklin figured out the lightning was made of electricity with a kite and a key?   So as you can see electricity is a very useful part of our lives and if we didn’t have electricity well then there would be no lights or anything else that we need today.
