Tis The Season…What Season? By #Agent22

You hear “tis the season” a lot, especially this time of year. People use “tis the season” only to refer to Christmas. Unless you are with my mom and her friends, where “tis the season” means someone is sick. But I think “tis the season” should refer to every season. We live in New England; we’ve got all 4!

For example, we can use “tis the season” for spring, summer, fall, and winter. For spring, it could be “tis the season” for allergies. Summer could be “tis the season” for this heat wave. Fall could be “tis the season” to clean up all those leaves! And winter, “tis the season” to be jolly. Falalalalalalala.

My favorite seasons are the tweasons. A tweason is in the middle of two seasons, like summer/fall, fall/winter, winter/spring, spring/summer. I like them because it is not too hot and not too cold; it is in the middle. I could wear pants and a T-shirt or sweatshirt and shorts. It is usually time to be amped up for the next weather change like “snow is coming,” “beach weather is coming,” and being able to get excited about it.

I like every season overall. Not one is my personal favorite. I like winter because there is snow, and it can still feel warm because of the holidays. I like fall because you get to see the stars early, and the leaves changing color are really pretty. I like summer because you can see the sunset and stay up later when it is not dark. I like spring because you are doing a lot of fun stuff at school like field trips and field day… and it is my birthday!

So, I have a question for you, what is your favorite season and how would you use “tis the season”?

Forecast- more fun coming soon,
